He is expert at design, brings an excellent cast of contractors to implement designs and often goes above and beyond to ensure everything is top notch and beautiful. Throughout implementation, Tom was communicative, timely, organized and dedicated to our project. In addition he is extremely bright and pleasure to work with.

I needed to make significant changes to the lawn of my half-acre residential home near the Maine coast, which hadn't experienced any significant work for at least 40 years. The project required removing trees, planting new ones, relocating the driveway, creating new walkways, and reclaiming and regrading the lawn. It was a large project and I knew I needed an experienced professional to oversee the project. I was fortunate to find Tom Lynch. From the first time Tom and I walked my lawn, he listened to my needs and priorities for the property. He had excellent design solutions and ideas. He outlined where the major expenses were, and where I could save money, and he took me on as a client. Once we agreed on the overall design of the project, Tom hired and coordinated the work of all the contractors which included tree removal, carpenters, masons, asphalt companies, lawn guys and landscapers. Tom negotiated prices, checked their work and was on-site at least once every day to supervise and assess progress. Tom's relationship with all the sub-contractors was extremely strong and positive. I must also say that with the exception of the initial removal of nine trees in the spring, all the work was done within 12 days in the early fall. Every time there was a change or an issue, Tom either visited me in person, called or emailed to keep me involved throughout the process. I give Tom my highest recommendation. It was a pleasure working with him.

I have been extremely happy to have had the opportunity to work with Thomas Lynch and am looking forward to a long-term relationship. Our property (1/3 acre) had been developed to a certain extent, but I have not been satisfied with the overall direction it was heading in. Tom is the first landscape designer who has looked at my property as a whole with the intention that each area has a function--but it all has to add up to create a unique and complete "canvas." He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, creative and respectful. He is generous with his knowledge and as a consequence I have learned a great deal myself about our native plants. He is not reticent about thinking about all the elements that may enhance a property in the most natural way possible: perennials, annuals, trees, hardscape, fencing, etc. And he takes great personal interest in making sure that his client will end up with a project that is meaningful to the client. My only regret is that I did not start working with Tom earlier.

Tom always goes the extra mile, is extremely responsive, and truly manages the project for you. He does a fantastic job coordinating with contractors, utility companies, and other professionals to get the entire job done and follow up with all of the details! We have completed many home improvement projects and Tom’s expertise, professional style, and industry contacts far exceeded our expectations. It truly was a pleasure working with him on our landscaping project and seawall repair.

He sources the best materials and sub-contractors. Thomas designed and then performed the work on the re-design of our patio at our property in Ogunquit, Maine. He took the time to listen to our needs and then take that input to achieve an outstanding design for our patio. During the construction phase he communicated frequently and met every project milestone timeline. On one particular Sunday afternoon last Fall I noticed that Thomas was in the patio watering new plantings as he felt that they "needed a drink" given the fact that the irrigation aspect of the project was still in process. This act demonstrated to us his dedication to his craft. Thomas is a stand-up guy who accepts responsibility for managing all aspects of the project. He is the go-to guy. Thomas exceeded all of our expectations. He is a great communicator and has consistently demonstrated how much he cares about the work he performs. He always had great ideas and his ability to deliver outstanding results is second to none. I highly recommend his services to anyone considering a landscape/hardscape of any size or magnitude.
