Tyler helped me solve a problem I had with me side/corner front yard where I was having a difficult time maintaining grass/sod. His design to install Jasmine minima ground cover and a stone walkway really turned out amazing. Tyler was on site daily to supervise the workers/installers and made sure everything turned out perfect. We recently redid our entire landscape with Tyler. He worked with us over the course of three months, to design and implement our dream landscape. First, he took the time to listen to our ideas and he made sure to understand our needs, including space for a raised bed and incorporating a gravel area, as well as our aesthetic vision. Then, he designed the entire landscape, incorporating his extensive knowledge about native plants. Having just lived through Hurricane Irma, it was important to us that we plant things that are able to withstand the high winds that can come through Miami during a storm, and Tyler had ample suggestions for trees that not only survived the recent storm, but that thrive in an environment like ours! He also made suggestions for plants that would help us conserve water, and that would invite native birds and butterflies to come into our garden. Tyler's insight helped us save plants from our existing landscape, even helping us relocate a J-trunk triangle palm from the back of the house, making it a focal point of our front yard! He was instrumental in purchasing all of our plants, which included coordinating among multiple nurseries. Lastly, he was available on site to help oversee the installation, including measuring and identifying the location for all the excavation and planting. Now that everything is established and blooming, we hear compliments from our neighbors and friends all the time, and I can't help but smile every time I pull up into my driveway!

Tyler is well versed in Florida natives and really did an outstanding job planning for our home in Pinecrest including landscape, hardscape, irrigation, and tons of earth removal.

Tyler is one of the most knowledgeable hands on landscape designers we have worked with. He is always on call and quick to respond. His on site supervision and coordination of subcontractors is fantastic. He is an excellent person to work with and makes that process truly a pleasurable one. We highly recommend Tyler!

I hired Tyler to work with my son and his wife to design a plan for his home in coconut grove. He was punctual, respectful and well educated on what would work best for his property. We are extremely pleased with his design work and my son described him as a hidden gem. We had a tight budget as well and he was so very flexible in offering alternative plants that could provide the function needed at a lower cost. I am now in the process of bidding out the design work to a landscaper. As they perform very different functions, I would recommend that if you are looking to landscape your yard, you use Tyler for the design and a landscaper for the implementation. He also provides a service to inspect all plants that the landscaper acquires to assure they are the right ones and that they are healthy.

I hired Tyler to do some landscaping in my front yard. When he arrived, he had only 1 person with him to help (a family member) and had virtually no equipment/tools. He had to borrow tools from my husband to complete the job. He also broke a sewer line in the process of the installation. He did not offer to repair the sewer line, my husband patched it and there is still a giant hole in my yard. There were plants on the blueprint plans that were never put in the yard (some groundcover). The mulch that was layed down looked very bad. It was uneven and not even remotely level. I could have done a better job and I have not a clue how to do it. He did not edge the beds until I asked him to. I would not recommend anyone to hire this landscape designer.
