Drew helped transform our backyard, which now includes a multi-level patio that accommodates cooking, entertaining, and our family just lounging about, a pergola, landscaping and irrigation, and a hot tub. He was adaptable, solving problems on the fly and making design changes throughout to address real world constraints. He was also ever present, ensuring the quality of all aspects of construction. He was available, responsive, and hit all the items in the scope of work and delivered on budget. I would not hesitate to either recommend him or team with Verdant Landscape Group again.

We hired Verdant Landscape Group for a large patio / yard project in Spring of 2019. We had a very complex drainage problem that was the driver for the project: our lot is on a slope and an existing, cracked concrete patio was pooling water at the house foundation. The new patio (which we wanted to at least triple in size) would need to meet up with existing concrete at the north and south ends, approximately 3 feet difference in elevation, AND slope water away from the house. Andrew (owner of Verdant and primary landscape designer) created an elegant design. The design moves water through rock swales, sunken drains, and almost undetectabe slopes - the patio is simply gorgeous, and you would never know that all of these elements are extremely functional in moving water away. Andrew was so easy to work with. He listened carefully to our ideas and wishes for the new patio, and he initially presented three very different designs that all were beautiful. He spent time to notice where sunlight and shade fell on our property at different times of day, and these observations were critical in the design we selected. He expanded our patio to include an outdoor kitchen, living room, and dining area - and these flow together beautifully and look like a seamless extension of our home. The trees and other plantings are beautiful and interesting - not the run of the mill - and compliment the existing landscape. We know that Andrew was overseeing several projects at the same time, but we always got immediate responses and answers. We never felt out of the loop. And his team, led by Jose, were excellent. All of the work was done thoughtfully and thoroughly, from the excavation to the sprinkler system. And, the work site was always safe and clean. I've got kids and pets, so it was very important to me that tools were put away, the site was safe, and that there was no harmful debris. I didn't have to say a word about any of this - the Verdant team clearly had a standard practice of keeping the site super safe and tidy. Overall, Verdant went far beyond our expections, in the design AND the delivery. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Andrew, Jose, and his crew were so easy to work with. We started working with Andrew in the winter to develop a design for our front and backyard landscape project, which included a patio and retaining wall, leveling the yard, a screen wall, sprinkler system, and removal of overgrown ground cover and installation of a combination of plantings, pea gravel, mulch. The end result was amazing!! Andrew was proactive in his communication and easy to coordinate with from design though install. Jose and his crew put the utmost care into the construction, resulting in a high quality project. We would highly recommend them!

We hired Andrew to design a new, more functional backyard for our family. We couldn't have made a better decision. He presented a few amazing options, covering everything we were looking for and then some. From start to finish, he and his crew were easy to work with and so attentive to every detail. Andrew and his team were excellent in design, execution and communication. They built a pergola and placed pavers to replace a shoddy looking backyard patio. They also installed a lovely granite fountain and completely landscaped the back. We had a firm deadline for an event, and the work was completed with time to spare. I hired Andrew for a landscape project in my backyard. I had a general idea of what I wanted (a new patio and garden area with new trees). Andrew developed a landscape plan that vastly improved on my preliminary ideas. Then the crew, led by Jose, did a fantastic job. I’ve never seen a harder-working group of guys, and their work is high-quality. The project was completed more quickly than I expected, and the yard is beautiful!

Andrew at Verdant landscaping was incredible to partner with us on a front and back yard landscape project we recently completed! He was a true collaborative partner for our project. We had a few rudimentary ideas and he ran with them to provide multiple tiers of options, at difference price points, with renderings that helped us visualize what it would look like. I've been working with Andrew at Verdant for about 6 months to do a complete overhaul of my property, which included multiple tree plantings, shrubs, berms, mulch beds, full sprinkler system/drip lines, and new grass for the entire lawn and more. It has been a fantastic experience and the work looks amazing. Andrew is hands down one of the best landscape architects in Colorado. He has a keen artistic talent, vast knowledge of plants and expert understanding of what grows best in specific conditions. From the first meeting at my own home, I saw Verdant Landscape Group's dedication to understanding our specific project and commitment to creating a beautiful, functional and easily maintainable outdoor oasis. The team incorporated our desire to add original art into the design. They even helped me to conceptualize, design and work through the logistics of installing large custom towers that illuminate at night. The exterior of our home was literally transformed from least attractive on the block to the envy of neighbors. The combined look and functionality of our new hardscaping, irrigation system, beautiful plantings, fountain, art and lighting are extraordinary. Can't wait until spring when everything is in full bloom! Andrew is diligent at follow through and we did not have to worry at all about project management. The project was completed on time and on budget with stunning results. I even "caught" Andrew in the act of going above and beyond as he was checking on the plants and doing some extra watering weeks after the project was complete. I am excited to work with Verdant Landscape Group on future projects.

We are currently working with Andrew and Verdant Landscape Group to overhaul our front and back yards. The design and installation process went quickly, with Andrew on site monitoring the process the entire time. We could not be more pleased with the job they did on the front yard; we can't wait until the rest of the project is completed!
