Visionscapes was a pleasure to work with and the results are just incredible. Shawn was able to take our rough ideas a for a pretty comprehensive landscape and lighting plan and turn them into a set of designs that were better than we even expected. The installation was very smooth, communication was great, and they were very flexible with a couple of small change requests that emerged along the way. Highly recommended!

Our home is on a small lake in Virginia Beach and we have always said the backyard is the best room in the house. VisionScapes did an outstanding job in designing and installing a landscaping plan after a garage addition to our house for a 1.6 acre property. It was a complex plan that included the coordination of a new concrete driveway and sidewalk, a large paver patio, installing a sprinkler system, design and installation of beds, and laying of zoysia sod. Shawn was very responsive to our needs and stayed within budget. He is very knowledgeable on all related topics. His installation teams were very good and his site manager was great. I would highly recommend him and definitely choose him again for any future work.

This was a move we had been wanting to make for years - but were afraid and uneducated on what was even possible - we were frozen. After reading the reviews about Visionscapes, we scheduled a meeting. Shawn was able to share his knowledge about soil, plants, what would work, what wouldn't work, as well as his ideas on hardscaping and visual flow. His professional manner is easy going, but attentive - listening to what we wanted and responding with input. We received his proposal and it was amazing!!! He educated us on each plant, what it would look like, and why he chose it. After approval, the paver installation was scheduled, followed by the landscaping. During the process there was one small issue that needed to be addressed. Once Shawn was made aware, it was resolved the same day. We could not be MORE PLEASED with the results, totally unaware of the potential for our yard! We are incredibly thankful for the talents of Visionscapes, their professionalism, and quality work. They will definitely be a part of any future landscaping we tackle. A sincere thank you to Shawn and his team.

Shaun and his team were very professional. We had some idea of what we wanted to do with our yard. Shaun designed our pool, yard, and deck. He incorporated what we wanted in our yard and came up with the whole plan. He was very easy to work with and contact even after the job was over. We had a couple of plants that I could not live with and he provided me other options and he replaced them with no problems. We had them come back this new year to prune and mulch. This way I know how to do it next year. His employees were very polite and courteous and I liked them all. We were very pleased as how the whole back yard turned out, it should be in a magazine.

We have used Visionscapes Land Design on a few projects now...2 of our personal residences and referral on a few more. Each project was completed on time and within budget and looked great. Without a question, we would use them again. Most importantly to us, we love the way our yard looks and we get so many compliments.

We have hired Visionscapes for a residential landscape project including stamped stained concrete, new sidewalks, rock work, trees and plants. Working with Shawn is great. He listens to your needs and implements a plan that works for you. We wanted low to no maintenance, little mowing, an area for children to play, and it all to look "married" to our house. All of this and more is what we got. His crew is great is as good as he is as well. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, Visionscapes is well organized and managed. We got a beautiful result. We would recommend him Visionscapes to anyone looking for a great landscape in the Hampton Roads area.

Design & install landscape at new construction house with approx 1 acre yard. Included construction of 100 ft retaining wall. Was able to coordinate with builder to align schedule for landscape installation (very important). All work professionally completed. Very satisfied overall.
