Our goal at Wind River Landscapes is to enhance your home through exceptional garden and landscape design. Above all, we create outdoor living spaces that are beautiful, thoughtful and tailored to your specific needs. In addition, we assist you in making the right decisions for improving your landscape, from conceptual design to final outcome, including overall vision, plant selection, water features, entertainment and play areas – all tailored to your budget and requirements. Wind River believes design should be pragmatic and aesthetic, as well as comprehensive. To that end, we always consider the interplay of color and texture, seasonal change, views and focal points, water and light requirements, soil, nutrient and drainage issues, along with wind, animal and ongoing maintenance needs. We favor working with indigenous plants and materials whenever possible, to encourage a lower-maintenance, naturalistic and earth-friendly environment. However, we will also incorporate non-native accents such as colorful, seasonal tropicals that lend a dramatic visual counterpoint. Wind River Landscapes was created in 2010 by Jud Davidson, a seasoned architect with many years' experience in residential and corporate design for both interior and exterior spaces. With a range of design work extending from New England to Florida, he is knowledgeable, flexible and adaptive. So, whether you prefer a traditional English garden, a lushly untamed meadow or something more structured, he can create outdoor spaces that will bring you long-lasting beauty and enjoyment.
