Mike from Aldape created a excellent landscaping plan for our yard. The skilled, hard working crew worked through our cold, wet Spring days. Regardless, the job was started and completed on time and our landscape looks great! We highly recommend Aldape Sprinkler Service, Landscape and More.

I could not be more pleased with the quality of work and professionalism from Aldape. They installed all my landscaping and a water feature at our new home.

We had Aldape Install a drainage system for an erosion problem in our yard. They provided a quick professional estimate. Mike explained in detail his recommendation, their crew did the work and came in on budget. Easy to work with.

Installing a paver patio is a major purchase and one should research the company they consider and the likelihood of them to remain in business and be available to service their warranty. From start to finish Aldape had our full confidence. There were several issues that arose during the installation process and their employees were able to work through each one and complete a beautiful job that will enhance the appearance and value of our home for many years to come. I do not know of anything they could have done to make us happier. I highly recommend Aldape Sprinkler Service, Landscape & More.

Aldape is awesome! We recently had a new shed/shop built and needed our sprinkler system modified. I called Aldape and they were able to get someone out the next day. One of their techs came out and was able to move a few heads for us and add on to our drip line. I found their service to be exceptional. Their technician was very professional, calling us before hand to let us know he was on his way. He was also very knowledgeable, ensuring that we had all of our questions answered. He took the time to go over the sprinkler controller operation with us, to ensure we understood how everything worked. Thanks You for the Stellar Customer Service!

We hired Aldape to build a paver walkway. We were surprised by how hard their guys worked, despite the 100 degree weather, we were also impressed with how pleasant the entire crew was. Each and every one of their guys was respectful and helpful, they took special care to remove all of the construction debris. And the paver walkway turned out perfectly. Thank you so much for a job we'll done.

The workers did a GREAT job. Very respectful guys.
The owner Mike on the other hand, has very poor communication. He charged me DOUBLE labor then what was talked about over the phone. This is because He sent two people out for a one person job. I was not informed that I would have to pay for each guy on each hour. Mike just told me the hourly rate.
I asked a few times for him to come out and quote me. He brushed me off. I trusted reviews online and went with him anyway. When I confronted him after the job was done. He claims he was far to busy for a "small" costumer as myself.

Comment from Aldape Sprinkler Service Landscape & More LLC:
Unfortunately, with many sprinkler repairs it would be necessary to excavate the entire area of the repair before being able to give a firm price. This is because the pipes are underground, thus hiding the details of their configuration. In an effort to help customers know what they are getting into, we list out our hourly rates, as well as, some job minimums and Ball Park Pricing for certain jobs on our Website. It is addressed in the the first question on or our FAQ page. http://www.aldapesprinklers.com/FAQ.html
With that said, I would like to thank Lisa for the compliment to our Technicians and also, for the opportunity to reiterate our pricing structure that we already have posted on our website.
When Lisa called our office, she described her problem and requested an estimate. Additionally, she explained that she had been trying to "fix the problem themselves since they had lived in the home and had not had any luck". We explained that we do not make site visits for small repair jobs, as this is a cost that would be passed onto the customer, and therefore in some cases double the actual repair cost. Note that, in a lot of cases (Lisa’s included) staring at the ground doesn't really tell anyone anything, and therefore doesn’t add any value insofar as getting a repair accomplished. As such, after listening to the problem as she described it, Lisa was provided a "ballpark" phone quote of $600 -$700. It was further explained to her that we would charge our hourly repair rate ($65 for up to the first 45 min and $58 per hour after that) for the actual hours it ended up taking to correctly fix her problem. And that the "ballpark" quote was solely based on her description and our prior experience with repairing issues like hers. After the initial conversation, I contacted Lisa personally to try and get a little more info for scheduling purposes. I restated to her that she could be looking at $600 to $700, however that in some cases we have gotten lucky with her kind of repair, and they have cost as little as $200. I also explained to her that given her description of where things were in her yard that, that would most likely "not be the case".
Given her description of the problem we sent 2 technicians, as otherwise it would be a very long day for 1 guy. (it should be noted that, we always bill a second technician out at a reduced rate). When they arrived, not only were they able to repair her described problem, but taking full advantage of having 2 guys at her home, Lisa had them fix some additional problems she was having with her system. All in all she had 2 Techs out for 3 hours. (2 x 3= 6 hours). In that time, while working together, they were able to repair the problem that she and her husband "hadn't been able to figure out since they had lived in the home". Additionally, they repaired and modified other portions of Lisa's Sprinkler system at her request. The icing on the cake is that Lisa’s final bill was less than the "ballpark quote" she was given over the phone. Given the situation, I have to say I am somewhat shocked at her review. It doesn't matter what industry... HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc. Per hour pricing is based on Labor hours. Sprinkler Repair is no different, in the case of our company, we go as far as to reduce the rate for the second technician. Therefore providing extra value to the customer.

Aldape just finished a back yard remodel for us and we couldn't be happier. Arrived exactly when they said they would, worked hard, worked with us to fix up a yard that needed a lot of help and they stayed within our budget. When finished, they put extra effort in to clean-up. We love the look of the work they did and wouldn't hesitate to hire this company again.

Mike and his crew did an awesome job relandscaping my yard. They built a beautiful stone retaining wall, installed some plants and a sprinkler system for me. Mike had good suggestions to offer along the way and I'm really happy with the final product. I've had a number of people walking by the house that have stopped and asked me for the phone number and name of the company who did the work. I definitely will be calling Aldape the next time that I have a landscape project.

Main valve next to pump was replaced. I had dug out the hole myself to save some $. They had to fill it in order to maintain warranty. Valve started leaking within a few weeks and had to be dug out again. The valve was obviously defective. I got a bill for over $700 for the re-do. They claimed it was someone at home that broke the valve (4' under ground!!! ... NOT...) Anyway, I paid the bill in order to not raise a stink but just warning others that they may not honor their warranty and will find excuses to not cover it.

Please be advised the we strive to provide excellent customer service, including honoring our warranty.
In this particular case, when our Technicians came out the first time they replaced your leaking Main Valve and Drain Valve. Approximately 3 months (big difference from a few weeks), later when you called and said there was water in your access tube again, our Technician discovered that your Drain Valve (pictured) had a cracked packing nut. Upon further investigation it was discovered that a section of your Main Line was split and leaking. This section of Mainline-Pipe was approximately 3 feet away from the area where we did our original repair. And appeared to be either the result of an even earlier repair or, original tie-in attempt (neither of these were something we had anything to do with). It should also be noted that the damaged Mainline-pipe was only rated to 100psi. Plumbing Code requires the use of at least 160psi pipe.
Additionally, you had our Technicians do some wiring work on your system while they were at your home taking care of the Valve and Mainline Issue.
In the end we were willing to cover the cost of the drain valve under warranty. However, you were charged for repairing the damaged Mainline-pipe and the additional wiring work you had our Technician do while he was there.
