Todd did a first project for me billed at $7,000. His crew was on time and finished in one day, although prices were high. His $1,500 design fee (credited to the job) only got me generic ideas, like fishtail palms everywhere and a $5,000 fountain, for a modern new build with a large atrium. Both design visits lasted 15-30 minutes and felt rushed. I ended up designing it myself. For a 2nd job, a stone path, Todd asked for a $2,000 deposit just to bring samples, promising it would go toward other work if nothing worked. None of the samples worked (too cheap looking for a $1.6mm modern home) and nothing was approved. I have screenshots of me still sending path ideas, and his team dropping off more samples, after I paid. I bought stone myself for $1,300. Todd quoted over $5,000 to install it. Another contractor did it for $1,300. I then asked to use the deposit to have his crew plant the plants I bought, knowing $2,000 was far more than the work was worth. He refused and said his minimum to come to my house (located near Brickell) was $3,400. Someone else planted everything plus extra work for $900. Todd has so far refused to refund the deposit. As a business owner myself, I'm appalled. Todd's pricing: Mondo grass: $13 each installed ($3 in store) Palms: $450 each, quoted at 6-8 ft, installed at 4-5 ft ($75 in store) Japanese blueberry: $800 each ($275 in store) Buttonwood tree: $1,200. Another landscaper did it for $220, tree included. My recommendation: Use AI for your design. Take pictures of your house and note how much sun each area gets, then check your plant choices with the nurseries south of Miami and order from them (delivery is about $75). Finally, find a landscaper on Facebook Marketplace who will work hourly. I paid mine $40 an hour, which came to $700 plus a $200 tip. For me, Todd's quotes were 3 to 5 times higher than doing it this way. I will update this review if any of the deposit is refunded.

Tod Anderson and his wonderful crew did a really great job on my patio. They did a beautiful layout of the tile on the patio floor and made a number of improvements to my garden, including tree removal and expanding the pond into a really nice rock garden area. The crew came every day and worked steadily and well- always with a great work ethic. There were no interruptions or delays. They came every day until the job was done. I've done a lot of renovation but I can't think of any that have been such a pleasant and productive experience. Thanks, Tod and thanks to your terrific crew!!

Tod Anderson and his team of hardworking, talented employees just refreshed our landscaping and installed fencing. The finished look exceeded my expectations. I totally recommend them.

Tod Anderson and his team did an excellent job. The crew was very professional and diligent. Tod was very responsive to unanticipated issues and had solutions that were implemented quickly. Highly recommend!

It is with great pleasure I am writing this review for Tod Anderson and his crew at Anderson Landscaping, LLC. Tod Anderson and his crew did an outstanding job removing my overgrown backyard and replaced it with a beautiful, tropical landscape that included a soothing custom water feature. In addition, his team installed grass that enhanced the backyard and turned it into a lush, green oasis. His selection of various palms and butterfly attracting plants has invited nature into the landscape with songbirds and butterflies that has made it a unique private sanctuary. His whole team worked tirelessly over the course of a couple of weeks to transform our rundown backyard, rebuilding the broken-down fence, removing dead and overgrown plants such as bamboo and firebushes, replacing them with new palms and colorful plants, turning an eyesore into an inviting refuge. Tod’s diligence, his excellent listening skills, eye for color, and passion for horticultural design really transformed our backyard into a tropical getaway and surpassed our expectations. Furthermore, Tod's whole crew from his office managers to his yard workers are all blue-chip assets to his business. It is comforting to know that there are people out there who follow through on what you ask them to do – from listening to our vision during our first consultation to interpreting and delivering on it. I’ve discussed with him future plans for a phase two project which will continue to create an inviting design for our front yard that completes and complements the back yard. Kudos and thank you Tod and your crew for an amazing outstanding job! I would highly recommend Tod and his crew for any landscape design. Kevin H.
