Crystle and her team--Oscar, Sergio, and Joe--designed and built a beautiful patio and rock garden for us. From the very start, they listened to our vision and also helped us shape it with Joe's design drawings and Crystle's experience with hardscaping. Our venetian parquet, two-tone paver patio and sitting wall are both beautiful and functional, expanding our seating capacity and giving a clearer view of the yard than our former wood deck. Thank you so much for the careful attention to every detail. Crystle checked in with us through every step of the project, stayed on schedule and met our budget. Oscar and Sergio worked tirelessly carving the pavers, fitting them perfectly. They started early and worked full days. After the patio was complete, we asked them to come back and put in a few drain holes for the one corner that wasn't draining after rain. They came right back to fix it! The whole team was clear in communication, courteous and detail-oriented, and the end result is even lovelier than we envisioned.

Crystle of Ann Arbor Gardens is very competent and trustworthy and excels in the ability to visualize a mature landscape. She was recommended by a friend after a house fire destroyed landscaping around our home. We started "ground up" and now, after 6 years, I wonder how she knew then what we see now! The front of the home looks gorgeous most of the year (except when snow covers the ground in winter) and has received numerous compliments. Her services are competitively priced and of the highest quality. Her love for nature and animals is very endearing . I have seen her rescue animals displaced from their homes due to construction and take the time to carefully bury the occasional dead bird she encounters while working, no matter how busy she may be. We cannot say enough good things about Ann Arbor Gardens, Crystle and her awesome crew. Our first project with Crystle was at our period home in Barton Hills where there were already established gardens and terraces that had not been well attended to. It was so satisfying to collaborate with Crystle, work on a plan and watch it come to life in a very challenging environment - lots of shade and lots of deer. Her crew came and expertly maintained everything. I was always happy to see them, knowing that everything would be beautiful when they left for the days. We recently built a new home and started from scratch. Crystle has an amazing eye for design, and we once again came up with a plan, collaborated on plant selections, implemented some amazing hardscapes and a pergola - something I never would have thought of on my own. Ann Arbor Gardens comes with our highest recommendation!

AAG did a superb job, completely surpassing expectations. At least as important, they offered feedback, choices, and accurate cost projections throughout, along with advice about which possibilities were most vs. least critical. The gardening staff were also friendly/cheerful, and cleaned up the work site so well every day that you'd not have known they were there, except that everything looked so much better. Highest possible recommendation, based on two years' worth of projects at this point.
