We recently completed a backyard remodel with Artisan, and I can honestly say the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We came in with a vision of creating a tropical lagoon-style oasis, and they brought it to life in a way that was even better than we imagined. The crew members who worked on-site daily were respectful, knowledgeable, hardworking, and clearly took pride in their craft. Jim, the owner, was personally involved from start to finish—regularly visiting the project to ensure everything stayed on track and met a high standard of quality. Having direct access to and a strong relationship with the owner throughout the process made a huge difference and gave us tremendous confidence every step of the way. Communication was seamless, timelines were well-managed, and no detail was overlooked. If you are looking for a company that combines creativity, craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer care, Artisan is absolutely top-tier. All told Artisan was a great company to work with. We are very happy with the final results. Work done: Rear patio floor,deck and built-in BBQ structure demolished and replaced. Front of house and Rear of house iron gates replaced with new custom wooden gates built and installed Old landscape lighting re designed and replaced with new units The staff at Artisan were patient, communicative and all highly experienced. The same goes for the sub contracted vendors they brought in. As with any job there were some bumps in the road but all corrections were dealt with in a timely manner and adjusted to my liking. Artisan's mission is clearly to deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism. They handle everything whether the work being done is by their staff employees or a company they subcontract to do a portion of the work. The homeowner can really step back if they wish to. For this high level of service you pay for it. Artisan's bid was priced higher than other vendors' bids and they would not negotiate. They are far from the cheapest BUT in the end I am happy I decided to spend more mostly because having one skilled company execute a project from beginning to end was, for me, well worth it.

Outdoor Artisan is an exceptional company with expert employees who are dedicated to making your wish list come true! I had always wanted a pool when we bought our historic home, but we had to dedicate our funds to other more pressing projects. & then along came our beautiful daughter! (PS...kids are expensive!). So now as we are slowing down, I had a "blonde moment" & wanted to see my original dream in real life. Jim is a master of his craft with the patience of a saint. David was able to conceptualize my vision once I provided photos of my wish list. Gregorio is meticulous at every aspect of the project. The tropical plantings, carefully selected and arranged by Artisan, have added life, color, and increased privacy to our outdoor space. The self-contained planters with integrated water and drainage systems ensure lush, vibrant scenery with minimal maintenance, reminiscent of a tropical retreat. We can only say good things about Artisan Outdoor. They took care of the whole process, integrated our feedback and gave even better suggestions, were completely upfront about the costs, and all the workers were very professional. I hired Artisan to 1) refresh/change out many of the existing plants in our back yard, 2) change the landscaping of our front entrance, 3) improve and repair the landscape lighting front and back, and 4) to repair some broken sprinkler heads in the planters. In the plantings I was interested in having Artisan recommend drought tolerant varieties. Artisan came through with recommendations, a plan and a budget. They were responsive and timely. When a portion of the lawn needed to be replaced Artisan took ownership of that part of the project and made it happen. I highly recommend Artisan. Great people to work with and professional.

I tried contacting 5 contractors for an outdoor project I had and only Artisan responded quickly and professionally. They came over, gave some good guidance and prepared a detailed proposal in a few days. Gave me a price in my budget and have met it every step of the way. Were honest on time to do the job and showed up every time they said between 7AM to 8AM and were quite, neat and professionally. Braulio (the forman) and Alberto and Elmer were excellent workers and took pride in their work. Roger (boss) kept in touch and they finished the job on time and in budget and an excellent job. All good.

LANs ape project, pool and fire pit. Design and quality of workmanship was top notch. Responsive and communicative at each stage of the process. Took extra care at project end to make sure we were completely satisfied and had all needed documentation on pool equipment and irrigation systems. Beautifully done.

We recently worked with Artisan Outdoor to plan the backyard landscaping for our new home. Our experience working with this team of professionals was beyond our expectations. They were knowledgeable about our community, creative in designing and truly artistic in building all of the components for our beautiful backyard. We were moving from out of state so we first met over zoom to discuss our expectations, including the timeline and price. While listening to and respecting our design ideas, the team laid out a plan for us so we knew what to expect from start to finish. They provided a detailed visual landscape plan along with an informational packet of plants and materials. Since they were familiar with our neighborhood and HOA design requirements, the logistics of submitting plans for approval was seamless. From the very beginning up to the completion of the project, this highly professional team remained in continued communication with us to ensure everything was to our liking. James was our initial contact and we appreciated his professionalism and attention to the project. We were eager to get started as soon as possible and he intently listened, then made sure that there was no delay. Robyn was an enthusiastic partner as we chose the plants, trees and flowers for our backyard. She intently listened as we had many ideas and she reworked designs to reflect our wishes. It is nearly nine months after planting and we often discuss how talented and creative she is, as our backyard is glorious. Roger was on-site on a very regular basis to communicate with us about timeline and materials, making certain that we were satisfied with progress and we were able to make changes, as we needed to. Antonio and his team worked hard every single day during the span of this project. He made sure that his team was focused on the components of this project, patiently listening to our many questions along the way. Our backyard project began with the installation of over 30 below ground drains into rock hard California dirt, something that we had never seen before! The completed backyard includes a hand-built fire pit with poured cement stepping stones and side alley sidewalk, paved patio, pergola, garden path with DG, hand built raised garden beds, artificial turf and dozens of flowers, plants and trees. Antonio’s expertise and hard work has resulted in a comfortable and beautiful outdoor living space.
