Backyard Beginnings LLC

I would like to make consumers aware of this business before they choose Backyard Beginnings. We hired Backyard Beginnings and Joe to put in a 1000sq ft patio, fire pit and wall. This was 3 years ago. The reason I am now writing a review 3 years later is that the work completed continues to deteriorate and I get frustrated every time I look at the poor quality of work completed with no follow up or response from Joe Curley. Bottom line about this company is that the team is not qualified to do detailed work. If you want a company to do mulch bed edging or digging holes, Backyard Beginnings would be a good company but for detailed design and construction of patios, this is not the company you want to hire. I would be more than happy to share our poor experience with anyone considering this company. Do your homework upfront before you regret your decision, like us.

I've recommended, worked with and for Joe for some time. He's good, dependable and very fair. His work is wonderful!

Horrible disorganized job. If it wasn't for his fantastic paver layer Santana this job was nightmare. We signed a contact early February we are now in July and still not finished!! Blame on rain, etc.....but except for Santana no one comes daily to check on. Job. We have a $15,000 fountain that still doesn't work.. Leaks or is green because it can't run. Now the concrete top is not measured right. They again blame us..if you hire them get a finish date as they will start job but not come to finish small jobs to complete job. We have gone almost one month with no one here and job not complete. Feel free to contact us , as I am sure he'll find a way to blame us. Our job was almost $150,000 job.
