Thanks to Dean and the crew at Blue Aspen for a great job on our backyard. It was a smaller project, with some stamped concrete edging, rock gardens, and sodding the yard, but they had some great suggestions and the end product looks fantastic. They completed the job on time, and within budget. They were professional, courteous, and always let us know when each part of the project was going to be worked on. We love our backyard and it exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Blue Aspen for any landscaping - big or small projects.

Blue Aspen did a lot of work on our yard for us, including patio paving stone installation, along with a dividing wall in our front yard; a large deck in our back yard, and installation of new sod and border trim in our back yard. They were very professional and very willing to work with us to ensure we were happy with the results. We are extremely pleased with everything they did for us, and we would highly recommend them.

When we decided to re-landscape and modernize our 70’s backyard, we hired Blue Aspen Contracting Inc. Dean, and his dream team, gave us excellent customer service. They are hard working, polite, respectful, and took the time to explain everything. We admired the precision of their work, and their landscape design ideas are beyond compare. They definitely exceeded all of our expectations and we are very happy with the entire process and results. The transformation of our backyard project was very impressive. The plants, trees, colours, lighting, boulder rock retaining walls, large paved designer patio, gorgeous mountain ledge-stone planter retaining wall, matching ledge-stone gas fire pit, and composite privacy fences, all make our yard look beautiful and stunning! We have worked on 2 projects with Blue Aspen, 4 years apart. Projects included: fence, retaining wall, privacy screen, stone deck around pool, irrigation, sod, beds, plants and trees. Dean was great to work with on planning for the project and executing our vision. Had great suggestions for filling in the gaps and making a cohesive finished product. On both jobs the crews were professional, great to work with and did an excellent job. Pricing was competitive and they worked hard to finish the jobs in a reasonable time. We engaged Blue Aspen for a large scale project to re-do our back yard as well as some minor works to our front yard. After our property developer and builder messed up using the wrong rocks for the retaining wall which started breaking apart and eroding, we engaged with 3 different landscape companies. What set Blue Aspen apart was their attention to detail and design. The other landscape companies seemed to be more interested in just getting a deposit to secure your spot in line without really telling you what they will do, or they gave us a design that was really just an update of what we had. Blue Aspen worked with us until we had a design we were comfortable with before proceeding. We had to adjust to a few changes as the project went on, and like any large project there was a bit of friction. But in the end, we were able to reach compromises where necessary. The quality of their build did not disappoint! We have had a lot of compliments on the look of our yard. Blue Aspen knew how important it was for us to get the look we wanted and they delivered.

After considering a number of contractors to build our limestone patio (complete with Hot tub area), we chose to go with Blue Aspen. Their pricing was competitive, their reviews were good and they could work within our schedule. As with any construction project there were a few hiccups along the way. We appreciated the willingness and open mindedness of Dean and his team to work through them with us. Given that this was an October project and weather was a factor, we were pleased with the effort made to complete the work prior to winter setting in. The workers were a pleasure to work with. They were respectful, professional and very hard working. The finished product is gorgeous and it turned out even better than we had hoped for. We have already used our patio to gather safely with our adult children and their families and hope to be able to do so throughout the winter. We are really looking forward to spring to enjoy it even more. We would highly recommend Blue Aspen to anyone looking for a professional landscape company.

We needed to update our backyard area on our acreage and contacted several contractors for ideas. We instantly felt that Dean understood exactly what we were looking for. He created a design perfectly suited to our needs which included removing old sidewalks, a poorly designed deck and walkout area by creating a fantastic new deck which flowed beautifully into a large patio and walk out area. It was even better than we could have imagined. Dean was excellent at suggesting design ideas based on his expertise and he was very cost sensitive. We found Dean and his crew took immense pride in their work, were extremely reliable and hard working. They created a fabulous outdoor space for us which we have enjoyed already and will enjoy for many years to come. They were on time and on budget and we would highly recommend Blue Aspen for any outdoor project you might be considering.

We were extremely happy with the landscaping services Blue Aspen Contracting provided. When we first met with Dean for a consult which was back in November he was prompt in getting the quote, courteous, and reliable throughout the process. The timeline to complete was reasonable, Our whole backyard had nothing but grass and we knew it was going to take guidance from a professional landscaper.
