“t's been said we make our own paradise. Well our paradise has been "made" by AMR Landscape Associates execution of a visionary landscape architectural design. In our wildest dreams we could not have imagined the resulting "paradise" we now have in our front & back yards: 9 Cherry, Dogwood, and Lilac trees, dozens of Boxwoods and perennials to blossom in each and every month; Arborvitae and other "evergreens" crating bordering privacy; climbing Pink Rose Bushes on house and garage trellises, thick spongy deep green grass, a patio design to relish and enjoy, subtle outside plant lighting to savor our "paradise" every day and night. Patio, pavers, and planting all gel into a gorgeous living canvas. All maintained by an automatic irrigation system. I am truly mesmerized ! Our extended family is awestruck and our neighbors want to know when they get an invitation. Think it just might be time to add general ongoing maintenance. Thank you AMR !”

“Paul and his crew transformed our long neglected front yard into a space of color, artistry, and order. After meeting with Paul and Brittanie we knew that we could entrust the with our sensibility, and the overall design, and every choice was so pleasing and harmonious, from the smaller plants, to Paul's edgy pruning of neglected shrubs, to the front farmer's style wall, field stone driveway edging, to the sculptural walk. The pictures of the Organic Walkway in progress that are shown on the main page here don't do justice to the beauty of this functional sculpture. It's both rugged and subtle, and adds a little touch of whimsy every time we walk outside. The pictures also don't capture the ridiculous level of meticulous prep that went on before they could set the first massive stone slice. My wife jokes that the neighborhood could crumble and this walkway would remain, solid as a rock. We were really pleased how enthusiastic Paul, Brittanie, and master mason Brett were about repurposing material from around the grounds. From the rear yard, awaiting complete excavation for a new septic, Paul rescued the stone from crumbling walls and a weeping elm that my wife and I planted 15 years ago. The stone was used to build a casual stacked front wall and to edge the driveway, and the elm was given a new and better life, set behind the wall, anchoring the front corner. Flowering trees were moved to better effect and hosta and perennials reset into the new beds. We also can't say enough about how great they all were to work with. So collaborative throughout, continually getting our feedback and offering their suggestions along the way. When we added some work, like clearing out dead trees, and changed some parameters on the fly, like expanding the walk, they didn't blink; their only concern was executing what we wanted to their highest standards. We're lucky to have found them and look forward to working with them this spring and into the future.”

“My wife and I hired Mulligan's Landscaping to extend a brick patio, build a retaining wall, replace our crabgrass lawn with plants and planting beds. We found the in Houzz. Ryan, the President of the company, was immediately responsive. He was consultative as we worked through several iterations of drawings. He made suggestions that would save us money and allow us to reallocate funds to hire Nancy Danaher as a landscape designer and build out the plantings. The Mulligan crew was always in a good mood. I told Ryan that one of the subtle things we appreciated was that they don't play music. It would have been fine if they did, but it is impressive to see them work, quietly enjoying their work. The end result was beyond our original expectations. This was the best contract experience we could have wished for.”
