I bought a house in Dallas several years ago with a backyard and pool that was a total mess on several small levels. They came out - gave me a landscape plan and a bid in 5 days, which was exactly what I wanted. They also finished the project on time and under budget. Wow! I can’t say enough good things about the guys at Cantera. They were able to give me the coolest design on my flower beds and pick out the best looking flowers for my situation. To top it all off, best price too. You definitely get what you pay for. I will be using them on my next project even though I’m a do-it-myselfer. Nothing like a professionals touch.

We completely reworked the yard, when we purchased our house. We had the entire yard dug up, including the grass. Rebecca, the Cantera landscape architect, Charlie, Austin and the installation crew did a fantastic job! They came up with a very creative design that we loved and all the materials they used were terrific. It all went off like clockwork and we couldn't be happier. We recommend Cantera to everyone we know who is looking for a landscaping company. Several of our neighbors have already used them. We've heard landscaping horror stories and feel very fortunate to have been referred to Cantera by another neighbor of ours. We plan to continue to use them, in the future. I'm not attaching photos, as we don't regularly post reviews or pics online. But, the project results exceeded our expectations.

All I can say is WOW! My backyard has been totally transformed into an oasis after Charlie's hard work. He and his crew started by removing 2 huge palm trees that had outgrown the yard, and then leveled it all. They completely overhauled my irrigation system, taking out the old spray heads that were staining the fence, and replacing with the drip system that is nearly invisible (and uses less water). Charlie worked with me day in and day out to select the right plants, and keep the job within my budget. I'm pretty picky and wanted to save on costs, so he gave me guidance on what plants would thrive in my yard conditions, and helped me get them from various nurseries. He suggested large pots for one side of the yard, and river rocks to accent. And we finished with dark tejas gravel that completes the clean contemporary look. Charlie and his crew were always uniformed, courteous, and respectful of my property ----- which I can't say for other crews. I'm attaching 3 "after" pictures and 1 "before" picture that show his work (except for the turf). I absolutely LOVE my new backyard.

I hired Cantera April of 2016. Charlie could not pay his excavators, plumbers , electricians or equipment. We had to cash flow the project from day 1. After 1 year we have removed all the beach front flagstone which flakes off in the pool and will ruin your pumps. Added concrete where his inexperienced crews used excessive mortar. Dug out my backyard trying to find leaks in our underground bar. This week we had to remove our waterfall, he cost us an additional $25,000.00 in less than 1 year. I will be posting pictures from our rework and repairs ALL over the internet in effort to help others. This guy is a really good salesman WATCH OUT!!
