Since 2004, we have led the industry in custom, high-quality design and installation of exquisite landscapes and outdoor living spaces for residential and commercial clients in the Denver-metro area. Our niche in the industry is that we can usually build your design with real stone for less than what other companies charge to use man-made materials such as concrete (stamp & dyed), cement block & veneer or pavers. However, we can and do, build with all of these alternative materials per your project's requirements. We are a design and installation company. Because our installation professionals include a dozen+ stone masons, each having at least a decade's experience, and all of our designers and illustrators are in-house, we have the flexibility to ensure that no project exceeds the scope of our abilities and at each project completion, you will be exceedingly happy. We always cater to our clients' needs. Are you allergic to bees? Are you allergic to certain trees? We have you covered. Does your home back to a steep hill? Is your neighbor's irrigation running onto your property? We will make sure the water flows correctly off of your property. We love bare dirt!! We can walk onto a bare lot and see its problem areas, but we can also see the beautiful end result of your outdoor living space. I feel as if the other reviews are for a different company since they all talk about Daniel's landscape but we did hire Colorado outdoor living with Rob Law at the phone number listed on this site. We had a very large project redoing the front area of our house with a large flagstone patio and a fire pit. About 6 months after the job was complete we started seeing significant cracking in multiple locations and realized that they must not have prepared the ground correctly. We asked him multiple times to come and fix the damage but it has now been about a year and a half and we have yet to see him. Unfortunately I think he may be out of business now as the phone number says it has been disconnected but wanted to make sure and leave a review in case anyone is considering hiring him.

It was a true pleasure working with Michael and the crew. They walked the property and made suggestions we never would have thought of. They were also very respectful of the budget. Being the end of the planting season, inventory at the nurseries was limited. However, Michael worked hard to find only the best trees and plants and even found alternatives that worked great in our plan. Everyone was so professional and very friendly. At the end of the day our yard was gorgeous. You won't go wrong hiring this company.

Colorado Outdoor Living helped us with a significant drainage issue that became apparent with a basement flood caused by one of our big hail storms. They provided a detailed description of the scope of work with pricing for each distinct part of the project. The work was completed in a reasonable period of time. Jennifer was especially good at following up with us when we had questions or issues during the project.

Update 4/21/16 I am writing a follow up review for Daniel's Landscaping. Coming upon a full year of my landscape project with Daniel's Landscaping. Everything is looking great. Had some minor warranty items that needed to be addressed. Daniel was prompt in his response back to me and the crew took care of the items. Great after the sale communication and service. I have recommended Daniel to 4 other families in the noeighborhood and will continue to do so.

Both designer and owner, of Daniel's landscape were extremely professional,courteous,helpful with suggestions re/plants for continuos blooming, very prompt at returning messages with work of a very complex beautiful design, was done,except for details,within a two week time frame!!!

Soon after the flagstone and cement patio extension were completed, the flag stone and cement patio extension separated from the concrete porch area. I contacted a representative of Daniel's Landscape and Design to request repairs. They did not respond to my original or numerous phone calls until 14 days after the initial call. A call I placed to request the company to honor their warranty. Below is an email I received from the company basically telling me that my job is not important and that it is only a "cosmetic" problem so they didn't have a pressing need to come out and address and fix the problem in a timely manner. Please note that the initial contract to put in a retaining wall, capping of existing concrete porch area and the cement patio extension were all "cosmetic." We never had a structural need. I am including an excerpt from their email to us responding to our concerns so that you can see how they will address your concerns and how they will treat you as a customer. The following is part of the email we received from Daniel's Landscaping and Design: "The basis for your dispute is frivolous and without merit. Nonetheless, the following is provided for your informational purpose so that you can make an "educated" choice going forward rather than insisting that it is Daniel's responsibility to resolve this dispute beyond honoring his warranty and facilitating your repairs. Your hairline cracks were not of a structural nature and were cosmetic only. There was NOT a pressing need to come out there immediately to address them as they would have been addressed. We have NEVER not taken care of a warranty issue. We are not going to start with you regardless of the way in which you have conducted yourself throughout our dealings. While you would not recommend using our service, I'm confident that the feeling is reciprocated. We would not recommend to another contractor that they work for you."

My wife and I bought our house a few years ago, and the backyard had been completely neglected (or so it seemed) since the house was built in 1983. All weeds, no trees, no grass, the space was completely overrun and unusable. Doing the work ourselves would have been more than overwhelming and time consuming. This year we decided it was time to have it landscaped, starting over completely. We called and spoke with Rob. He came to our home and was very pleasant and in tune with our desires and hopes for our new backyard. About a week later, we received our initial concept sketches and we worked closely with Rob to stay on budget and make revisions as needed. A few weeks later, Daniel and his crew arrived and began work. Daniel and his crew worked quickly, starting with tearing out the entire yard. Over the course of the next 5 or 6 days, my wife and I watched what was an embarrassing eye sore turn into a beautiful, functional outdoor space. Daniel was diligent in working with us making minor changes along the way to put on the finishing touches. A huge patio, 3 tier water feature, aspens, pines, grass and an irrigation system are just a few of the new features that have added value to our home. Overall, we are very happy with our new yard, it feels like we have more than doubled the usable space of our home. Now my wife and I can be proud to do some more outdoor entertaining. The difference between where we started and where we ended with Daniels Landscaping cannot be understated. The final result is gorgeous and we have more than enough incentive to keep it looking amazing for years to come thanks to Daniels Landscaping.
