“We had a great experience with Alderwood getting our backyard done. We have a newer house with an average sized backyard with not-so-great soil drainage. Tim created a great design for the space and patiently walked us through his choices and his reasons, accepted our input and feedback until we had a design that we liked. Patrick and his crew (Michael, Colin and Anthony) took over from there and put in a huge amount of work to make the plan a reality. They took care of handling the drainage issues, implementing the design and constantly keeping us up to date on what was happening, any external choices we needed to make, etc. We got a sense that they really cared about doing a great job with a high degree of fit and finish and were not trying to rush through the project. They were also very respectful of our neighbors (they needed to use heavy machinery, so noise and access to the backyard were an issue) and keeping the work area as clean as possible. We got quotes from other landscapers and finally decided to go with Alderwood. They were not the cheapest, but they did an awesome job and we felt we got what we paid for. Our backyard looks fantastic!”

“We had several landscapers come to give us a bid on our project. We didn't have a budget in mind at first but knew what we wanted. Bids were all over the map. We met with Ryan to discuss our ideas of what we hoped our backyard could look like. Within days he provided us a plan and provided pictures that really gave us a sneak peak of what it would look like. His bid was reasonable and once we agreed on the project we provided a down payment and received a start date. Our project was started within days of the date estimated, altered by winter weather, but pretty close to the date he originally gave us. The project took about one month even with additional work we added to the original design. Ryan's crew is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous, and clean up daily before they leave the site. When we had concerns or changes, they were addressed immediately. Ryan came to the site multiple times to check on progress and to get my input on placing of pavers, lighting and plants. We had an extension made to our deck which turned out beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Our paver patio and walkway are stunning and the lighting is spot on! We can't wait for warmer weather so we can get out there and enjoy it with our family and friends.”

“We had interviewed six landscapers to rework the front yard of our house we bought just over a year prior. I didn't expect to have to talk to this many but until we met Alan with Classic Nursery the personalities just didn't click. I especially liked that he provided details up front even before we signed the contract. Other companies would barely talk to us without a contract. I also appreciated that he provided a list of suggested plants based on our preferences to choose from. When the day came to do the work, the crew spent all day adding new plants, new soil, moving plants around, and adding rocks. They asked questions to make sure they were doing what we wanted. A few times I asked for some changes and they obliged without complaint. Alan came by to look at the job, and again several months later to make sure the plants were still doing well. A couple had died so he replaced them. We ended up adding a few more plants and appreciated the 15% discount of any purchased plants at the Woodenville nursery. We're considering a few smaller projects as well as ongoing maintenance and Classic Nursery is the first call I'll make.”
