"The Outdoor Living Designer" Tim McAuliffe The Outdoor Living Designer is my page to showcase past projects as well as my new projects in the Wilmington NC area. I am now a Senior Landscape Consultant for a local Wilmington NC Firm. I specialize in Custom Outdoor Living Spaces. Creating Outdoor Spaces for you to make the most of your life at Home. Since the beginning of my Landscape journey over 20+years ago. My love & dedication to my work became my motivation to grow as a designer. We had an outdoor area designed by Pittsburgh Outdoor living including a bar, seating, fire pit and landscaping. The whole process from design which included custom plans and visiting our home to the end product was exception. The meticulous detail of the workers and professionalism was amazing. Everyone that visits our home is impressed. We would highly recommend Tim and his crew to anyone designing and completing a project !

We hired Tim McAuliffe with GSL and could not have been more pleased with the results of our outdoor living project. Tim offered creative ideas truly customizing the space that none of the other vendors suggested and this set him apart from the competition. Tim worked with all of the vendors that were part of the project including the engineer, borough inspectors, plumbers, electricians and construction team that built the covered roof over part of the space. Tim also designed the outdoor landscaping and worked with us to find exactly what we wanted in each area that needed shrubs/trees/flowers/plants. Tim's personalized design process and attention to detail resulted in a beautiful outdoor living space.

Zach losk contracting has worked with GSL on a few projects in the 2016 season. One of the best aspects about GSL is the ease of operation. If issues arises, they are quick with ideas and solutions. While working on site with multiple contractors can be difficult; GSL and Zach Losk contracting are able to work together to expedite the project. We able to schedule around each other's schedules and keep to our deadlines.

We hired Tim to custom build an outdoor living area in the back of our house. We could have not found a better individual for the job. His ability to listen and his attention to detail are second to none. He truly has the artistic ability to create and customize a living space truly unique, that not only fits but, makes the best use of the space available. Troughout the entire process, from the first design meeting to the last day of building, Tim always took time to listen to any thoughts or concerns that we may have had as well as explain and answer any questions. We were blown away by his ability to put his own personal unique touches on our project as it unfolded. He would at times offer his professional opinion on certain things while always respecting our opinion and vision. Even since the completion of the project Tim has personally been back out to follow up, making sure everything was ok and that we were 100% satisfied. Overall we can't say enough about Tim and his crew. They were professional and he treated us as he would a member of his own family.

From the moment we met Tim McAuliffe, we knew that he was the perfect person to transform our backyard into a beautiful living space. He truly listened to us share our vision and then took that information and added his own artistic touch. With each idea he shared or decision he had us make, he gave us his expertise opinion and thoughts, but always respected ours. He truly has a gift for envisioning and creating an amazing space and gave us ideas that we never would have thought of on our own. His designs are truly works of art with thought into the tiniest detail. Through the long days he and his team worked, they treated us and our children with the upmost respect, but still being so warm and friendly that Tim became more like a friend. He went above and beyond to bless us with a place where we will create wonderful memories over the years. I can’t thank Tim and his team enough and would recommend him without hesitation.

Overall Tim did a great job. His design ideas and attention to detail is first rate. Throughout the job, he consulted with us at every step to make sure we were getting what we wanted. His crew worked very hard and did excellent work. Whenever an issue arose, he addressed it promptly and professionally. We are very with his work and our back patio looks great!

Tim is that rare contractor who treats his customers like they are his friends or family. He truly listens to what the customer wants and has the talent and vision to analyze and deliver an end product which exceeds expectations and at a fair price. Tim provides an immediate comfort and trust level and goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are completely happy. We were so impressed how he introduced ideas and added personal touches to our project as it unfolded to make it unique. Everybody who has had the opportunity to visit and enjoy our new space can’t say enough wonderful things about our backyard transformation. Tim and his team treated us with complete respect and professionalism throughout the process and continue to do so with unsolicited but welcomed personal follow-up on our project even after its completion. I also wanted to comment on Tim’s creative approach to outdoor living spaces. He has the unique ability to see the potential for a project even when the customer can’t and possesses the experience and know-how to make the dream become a reality. Tim us given our family a place where we know many wonderful memories will be made. I would highly recommend Tim as a landscape and outdoor design architect to anybody interested in enhancing that outdoor space for their home.

Tim McAuliffe and his staff at GSL did a great job building our outdoor patio this past summer. Tim and all of the staff were on time and always very professional. Tim did a great job from beginning to end from the design all the way through to implementation. He offered several different options and worked with us to make the design exactly like we hoped. Tim knew exactly what he was doing and met the deadline we had agreed upon. Tim was willing to make minor adjustments throughout the process as our ideas and vision changed. He was truly a pleasure to work with. We recommended him to several of our neighbors in our development.

Tim and his team could not have been better! He worked with us from start to finish on our backyard patio and fire pit. It started out as a space we never used because we didn't know what to do with it. Tim and his team came to our house and gave us such innovative concepts right there on the spot. From start to finish, this project went very smoothly and timely, They also stayed within their stated budget which was so beneficial to us leaping into this venture. We felt more than comfortable letting Tim and his team run this project. They kept us in the loop on any changes and updates. Overall - I would recommend hiring Tim and his team to anyone!
