I cannot recommend Jim highly enough. The design he created for our new home took into account scale, setting, and future growth of the project. He is highly communicative -- something rare in his industry. He listens well, adapts to changes, and is very fairly priced. His crew is great, too. Very respectful of our property and careful with their work. Before we hired him we had an average plan from another company for 3x the cost. He is truly skilled at "creating the art in earth." Drawn By Nature exceeded my expectations -- something that's hard to do! We got a great start on our project and can't wait to continue to build out our full landscape plan with them.

Jim was a pleasure to work with on our landscaping project. He carefully listened to our thoughts, made excellent suggestions, started the project when he said he would and communicated daily on what was completed and what he would do the following day. The end result was beautiful and came in on target on the agreed upon price and timeline. We plan to have him back next year for additional projects. We moved into our new homely built home and needed landscaping for privacy. Jim was one of the best contractors we dealt with throughout this process. Jim is one of the best, if not the best, contractors we have ever worked with. He was attentive to our requests and communicated clearly throughout the process. We couldn’t be more pleased with our new patio and landscaping by Drawn By Nature! Jim and his crew were prompt, respectful, industrious and did great work. The project was done in budget and on-time, even after we threw in a major design change that required additional materials only three weeks before it was scheduled to start. We were especially impressed with the attention to detail; we noticed a hairline crack in a paver mid-project, but didn't mention it as it was not in an obvious spot....but that didn't stop Jim and his team from pulling it out and replacing it before the project was over. We LOVE the design of the paver patio and the seating wall and have already had many positive comments from visitors and people just passing by. Even the plumber who came to fix our kitchen sink commented on how nice it was. We can’t wait to have Jim do more projects for us!

Jim Reetz and his team at Drawn by Nature updated the landscaping in both our front and back yards and did a truly outstanding job. We presented Jim with two problems. First, our back yard had a nice patio but no privacy between our house and our neighbor’s. Second, our front yard was drab with a small garden gone wild, an underutilized brick planter, and an obscured front door address. We also wanted to add something substantially new to both yards. Jim worked his magic and came up with stunning water features for both yards. In our back yard Jim designed and installed a boulder-lined waterfall grotto next to the patio that looks completely natural—as if it had been drawn by nature. He also built an unobtrusive and attractive privacy screen to create separation from the neighbor’s yard. In our front yard Jim designed and installed a water feature in the old brick planter that cleverly displays our address behind a second waterfall. Both water features are also complemented by attractive new perennials and shrubs, and both are beautifully illuminated at night. Jim’s crew is hardworking and polite, and they were always on time and cleaned up after each day’s work. Jim is an excellent craftsman who was a pleasure to work with, and he was on time and on budget. We are extremely pleased with his work.

Jim and his crew did awesome work! I gave Jim a few ideas of what I wanted from my new landscape and he created something beyond anything I ever expected. The end result was absolutely beautiful! I’ve had so many compliments from people about how my front yard looks! I felt that his price was fair for everything that went into the design. I think one of the things that set this company apart was the 3D rendering he created that allowed me to see how everything would look. I would definitely recommend this company and plan to use them to have my backyard reimagine

The crew is extremely hard working, polite, clean up after themselves and attentive to details. Jim is awesome and came up with a great plan for our front garden. He’s very accommodating, great communication throughout the project, showed up on time. I would highly recommend Drawn By Nature!!
