Dreamscapes Outdoor Services is an exceptional company. We initially had Edgar out to address our severe and very large drainage problem in the front and back yards. (When you have ducks swimming on your front lawn, you know you have a problem.) At the same time, we asked him to repair our cobblestone paver sidewalks and design a landscape that would be appropriate for the area. We stressed the need for a low maintenance plan, mentioned some plants that we liked, and asked that he try and utilize a few of the current plants we had. Edgar used these requests to create an absolutely beautiful design. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and optimized the design with combinations of color, layout, and plant texture. He even took into account the look of the landscaping at different times of the year. I should also mention, that throughout this process,, Edgar was easy to get in touch with, was interested in educating me based on questions I asked, and was very responsive to requests. Once the plants were in ground, I got nervous about all the watering that would be needed. He suggested a simple sprinkler system we could use and effortlessly added that into his schedule. Edgar’s crew was efficient, friendly, and extremely hardworking. Our project was huge and they had everything done in approximately 2 weeks. (This even included rain delays and heat indices of 110 – 115 degrees.) The final product looks like it could be in a high-end magazine layout. We couldn’t be happier. Dreamscapes Outdoor Services is by far the best contractor we have ever worked with and I confidently recommend them to everyone.

One in a Million! My 82 year old brother-in-law located in Granite City, Illinous, lost his son 5 months ago while dealing with my sister...his wife...suffering from multiple strokes. He told me he hoped to have his outdoor patio completed by July 4th so his wife could get outside. Absolutely wonderful! I had 2 patios & a firepit w/seating installed by another landscaper, last fall, who did a horrible job; the one patio did not drain correctly & the bench sloped downhill, it was a mess. Luckily, I came across Dreamscapes, who was able to fix it. Edgar, the owner, is such a joy to work with. He responded promptly to my email & followed up with a phone call. Since the original patios had not be graded correctly or leveled, he had to completely remove them & redo it. Knowing that I had already spent a lot of money on this, Edgar did everything to keep the cost down, e.g. reusing the existing pavers & blocks. Some of the original pavers weren't the correct type for the patios, but Edgar was able to reuse those on some additional landscaping I wanted around my new fence. Also, I had been wanting a new shed, but knew I couldn't afford one since I had to have the patios redone; Edgar refurbished my existing shed so it is now usable & not the eye sore it was! He started the project when he said he would & his employees worked full days, every day after that, until it was completed. Extremely hardworking, professional and very respectful employees. I love the results & have received many compliments. I can't thank Edgar enough for being so understanding of my situation & going out of his way to correct someone else's mistakes, while working within my limited budget.

Highly recommend. Contacted Edgar by phone and he visited my house the next day to discuss my needs. We recently removed an above ground pool and needed mulch and rock removed and also needed dirt brought in. He did not rush the consultation and made sure he knew exactly what I needed. He also provided various options and costs. His crew did a great job. Edgar also stopped by after the heavy rains to make sure we did not have any problems. Will definitely use Dreamscapes for any future outdoor needs.

Edgar at Dreamscapes is wonderful to work with as he is very concenscious and careful of others property. All work was completed as agreed upon and on time. My property was cleaned up and seed sown when done. I would recommend this company highly.

Dreamscapes Outdoor was referred to me by a neighbor. I was looking for someone who was artistic and knowledgeable. I wanted a new patio with a fire pit, but felt unqualified to design it. Edgar exceeded our expectations! He designed a beautiful space! He communicated his design accurately, gave us choices, and performed the work in the time frame we expected. Dreamscapes did our neighbors front yard and it is beautiful. I had been looking for a landscaper and when I saw his work I knew he was the one I wanted to do ours. I met with Edgar, the owner, and discussed my ideas. He has such a vision for landscape that he asked if I would look at his ideas. He was spot on!! He took my plan and enhanced it into the most beautiful setting! I couldn't be happier. He and his staff are very professional, did all the work on time. Even after I added a gas fire pit during the middle of the project!! His estimate is what I paid. NO overages!! He also took care of unresolved drainage problems I had had for 17 years!! I have just consulted with Edgar again for expanding the landscape further. My yard looks like picture of a magazine. We could not be happier. I wanted my backyard flattened for my kids to play comfortably without worrying about them falling down. When we were getting quotes to whom to hire, we met Edgar. After talking to Edgar, his core philosophies and beliefs are focused on giving the best outcome for the client at the best price. When I did some background homework, Edgar was more than willing to answer my questons and teach me as well. His 20 years plus experience in various landscaping projects was utilized in our project. Edgar always kept a positive attitude, even when one of his worker quit, Edgar rolled up his sleeve and went to work with his friend. Together they worked very hard and made the deadline. They created a retaining wall that just high enough and that will last a long time. Plus a flat yard my kids will enjoy for many years. My neighbors was complimenting on our yard and how fast he turned over the yard with green grass. Edgar even fixed our sprinkler system that was buried to deep. I know Edgar takes pride in his work, and wants us to be happy. He will work with you any way he can so you get what you need. It can be hard sometimes to find quality people with great morals, but I know for a fact, there is no one else I would rather go to if I want landscaping work done. I will hire Edgar again for the next upcoming project in our yard.

I recently had the pleasure of having some softscape (plants, etc) and hardscape (stone, etc) done by Dreamscapes. They competed the job on time, on budget, and exceeded my expectations in every respect. I highly recommend Dreamscapes to anyone who has a need for any outdoor services.
