EarthCare Landscaping

Working with EarthCare was a delight. Everyone on the team was kind and professional. Communication was easy. Lisa and Shireen were patient and helpful when my family had a hard time making decisions or outside factors had to be sorted. Our project was completed on time, as budgeted, and with absolute transparency. Our landscaping is beautiful and easy to maintain, and our drainage and irrigation systems work flawlessly.

I originally employed EarthCare for a large project, working with Lisa and Deva. Everything went great - the communication, the design, the schedule, and the budget. I contacted Lisa recently for a small project concerned they might not want to try fitting in this small project, as they are very busy and in demand. Lisa's response couldn't have been kinder. Shireen has taken Deva's design role, since Deva retired. Shireen came up with an amazing design, and Lisa didn't disappoint with excellent installation. We are so pleased with the outstanding job by EarthCare Landscaping! Now we have beautiful native flowers, grasses & shrubs with butterflies and birds making their homes here year-round. The designer was outstanding, really listened and produced a superb design; the work crews were top-notch. They prep'd a difficult site with solid clay soil. Our landscaping needs included: (1) Dog friendly design with new fencing for front and back yards. (2) Food production: fruit trees attractive in bloom and prolific in fruit, and a raised bed vegetable box. (3) More native plants! (We who love gardens must plant California native plants to save our native birds and butterflies. They use less water too.) (4) User-friendly plants, kind to both family and passers-by; nothing poisonous, no thorns! (5) A color palette with emphasis on yellow, white and blue flowers, to accommodate color vision deficit on the red-green spectrum. Their carpenters built beautiful redwood fencing, gates and trellises, which transformed our corner lot. They matched our old bricks and extended a walkway into a new beautiful sitting area under a trellis. They built a raised-bed vegetable garden with irrigation built in. Drip Irrigation installed throughout. The work crew did work we could never have done; e.g. removing 2 overgrown crabapples with underground stumps the size of tractor tires! The design makes it sing. I highly recommend EarthCare and would use them again tomorrow!

During the summer and fall of 2015, EarthCare Landscaping undertook a major landscape renewal project for our home. They carried out the design, planning, masonry construction, selection and installation of plants as well as upgrades to our irrigation system. All work was done in a timely and professional manner and follow-up, when required, was handled promptly. We would highly recommend this company to any Bay Area home owner considering a major landscape project.

EarthCare provided design and installation services for our backyard remodel. Everyone who worked with us on the project was skilled, professional, and provided great service. The design process included a detailed analysis of our site, our wish list, and budget. Deva's expert eye for design and practical use of space helped guide us toward a plan that we could visualize. Installation started on time and ended one week early. Lisa's crew was prompt, and they cleaned up the site at the end of every day. Both Lisa and Deva checked on the progress during installation. For four months after the project, Margene checked the plants and replaced the few that didn't make it through transplanting. We love the results!

Earthcare landscaping is a highly qualified professional organization. Everything about my project from design to final installation was handled in a caring and professional manner. Although they are staffed with experts at every level and have their own staff for each part of the project they are still small enough to provide a very personal level of service. Having in house experts for each phase of the project insured timely completion and consistent quality. I would hire them again and again.
