Working with Wendy and her crew was the best decision we've made since moving to NC. She made the process smooth. We worked with a landscape designer, so Wendy was able to give us an estimate within about a week after touring our property. It was accurate and clearly defined. We added scope to the project as they installed the project and she was still able to keep the project moving along without a hiccup. Wendy met the start and end timeline as promised. This is no small feat with the rain in NC. The crew was very professional and cleaned the working area everyday. We are very happy with the outcome of our project and would recommend Wendy to anyone that asks (and even a few that don't).

Wendy installed the landscaping and coordinated all of the other work on a large project on our yard in Cary Park. She introduced us to terrific trades people (lighting, hardscape, sprinkler system) and coordinated their work. I was happy with the initial installation, but many large plants died (including magnolia). Wendy came and removed dead tree, but no plants were replaced.

Wendy and her crew at Fine Lines Landscaping were terrific. The biggest part of the job was helping with some pretty bad drainage issues on my property. She put in a French drain and a dry creek that have been severely tested by very heavy rains this spring and summer. The set up works great and looks good too. Like having a water feature in the backyard! The plantings were well chosen and all are thriving. The project was done right, on time, and in budget. Clean up was perfect. I will absolutely call on Wendy for any future landscaping needs.

We have been very pleased with Wendy’s work. We’ve had a couple projects completed by Wendy and her team and we are very pleased and continue to enjoy the design and plantings.

We did a full redo on our front, side and back gardens in Raleigh’s Historic Oakwood neighborhood. Transforming sporadic grass under a giant sycamore tree to a lush garden of carefully selected plants for texture, color, year-round interest, Wendy and her very capable team professionally installed excellent soil (Wendy is an expert on soil needs!), preparing us novice but eager gardeners for successful gardening. Her team has amended our soils throughout the property caring for the needs of the giant sycamore tree. Wendy’s knowledge covers recommendations for plant selection, soil composition, hardscape with accent stones, sun/shade/water needs of the plants. She is our go-to expert (one of Raleigh’s best) for all our garden needs. She has great ideas for container planting, as well, installing our side yard raised bed containers. Her workmanship and attention to detail are superb. She and her team are dependable with an excellent work ethic, working in a timely manner. Thanks, Wendy!

Wendy was recommended to us by Cat Valand, who did our landscape design. We could not be more pleased. Phase I of the project, our front flower beds was done this June (see before and after photos). Phase II, the backyard, including hardscape will be done in the fall. Wendy has been a pleasure to work with; personable, fun, knowledgeable and patient with gardening newbies. She and her crew are fast, efficient and don't leave a mess behind. We look forward to working with her on Phase II in the fall.

I hired Wendy on the recommendation of a neighbor to provide and plant a tree and some bushes in my front yard. She is very prompt in responding both before the job and after which is important. There were no longer well-formed, good-colored leaves on the trees of the type that the designer had recommended so Wendy went back to the wholesaler and picked a beautiful tree that would work in our design, sent me a picture for approval and brought that tree instead. If she saw a tree that was not well shaped or had a scar she would tell me. We are very happy with the work she did and I have received several compliments on our front yard. I would definitely use her again.

Wendy and her crew are the best! Easy to work with and they do a beautiful job. The always tidy up the street and driveway when the work is finished. We have had several projects done and they were all great.

In 2019-2020, we contracted with Wendy Kanable and Fine Lines Landscaping to undertake major landscape renovations in our front and backyards -- i.e., install brick walkways, a patio, fire pit, water features, arbors, and new plantings. The work was excellent. Wendy and her crew were always prompt, responsive to our needs, and first-rate horticulturalists. They took care installing the plants and cleaned up after every visit. I’ve been working with Fine Lines Landscaping for 4 years and have been very satisfied with the work they have done for me. I had over 100 bushes installed by the company, after a landscape designer, recommended by them, did a reasonably priced landscape design for me. Fine Lines Landscaping also installed an irrigation system. I have been very pleased with how my property now looks. Each Spring the company puts down mulch and turns on my irrigation system. . Whenever there is a problem, such as a squirrel biting through the tubing of the irrigation system, Wendy, the owner, is very responsive and fixes the problem right away. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the work done by Fine Lines Landscaping and would recommend them without any hesitation.
