Gabriel and his crew have done several jobs for us. That alone tells how I feel about their work. Here is what I like best about Gardens by Gabriel: • everyone we worked with took pride in their work (from the beginning design to the completion of work), • work was completed without delays or scheduling changes, • any changes we requested midstream were readily accommodated, • high level of professionalism and respect for owners not having to sacrifice their normal daily activities through the course of an extensive project, • highly skilled and knowledgeable team, • follow-up after the jobs to address any problems or concerns, • we’ve loved the work they’ve done and we’re still enjoying it today. We’ve worked with Gabriel on several projects and if/when we have another, that’s who we’ll be calling first.

I hired this company after seeing the beautiful landscaping that they installed on a property across the street from mine. I am also an architect with a lot of ideas of my own and what I loved about Garden's by Gabriel is that they were very open to incorporating and building on our ideas so the end result was a real team effort. Gabriel's company is very easy to work with, creative and does top notch work. I will hire them again on future projects, and will recommend them to my own clients.

We can't say enough positive things about Gardens by Gabriel! Hands down, they are the best. They did our entire front yard and it is even more beautiful than we imagined. They did the work in April and by the summer the whole yard came alive! Gabriel and his crew were wonderful to work with. They are innovative, professional, kind, prompt and patient. I've had the pleasure of working as a designer consultant with Gardens by Gabriel since mid 2015. Due to Gabriel's extensive plant knowledge and expertise in landscape construction, I've gained an invaluable amount of experience working alongside their team, beyond my previous projects and past studies. Got exactly what we wanted. Gabriel helped us create the vision we had in mind. He is a professional. After some initial discussions, we had a full set of landscape drawings. We were in a bit of a rush to complete the project by a certain date and these guys were able to do it. The work by foreman Mario and his crew was amazing. They were professional and courteous the whole time. We had some minor change orders which they accommodated. There were a few issues that came up which were quickly resolved. Everybody knew what to do to get the project done on time. The focus of this garden was "edible landscapes." Gabriel incorporated fruit trees we already had into the design and added other plants he recommended, including drought-resistant plants. They built really cool espalier trellises with metal poles along all the fences for figs and apples. These will help hide the fences, and it is a very efficient use of space. They also replaced an old deck with a crushed granite patio surrounded by Santa Barbara boulders. The trellis poles double as posts for a beautiful shade sail over the patio. All of the plants are thriving and the hidden drip system works great. I have been watching the water flow during the recent rains and we are getting good runoff. The crushed granite is holding in place. We love our new back yard. It's easy to imagine we are in Tuscany and we love to say "let's have a Tuscan lunch on the patio."

We've had Gabriel and his team transform both our front and back yards. We just finished our backyard transformation, and it is incredible. I had some loose ideas on what I wanted, and Gab and his team came up with a really amazing design that was both unique and fit our 110 year old house. There are varied elements and layers to our backyard, which create many enjoyable scenarios in our space. His crew is always professional, and the finished project exceeded our expectations. Our only issue is that we don't have any other yards to create with Gab!

We picked Gardens by Gabriel because we had seen his work around town and liked his emphasize on native and drought tolerant plants. After providing Gabriel with some of our ideas we were very pleased with the progress of the overall project. Besides the fact that he added some unique materials, chose some nice panel design, brought in some beautiful (and very healthy) plants, found some great lighting, he communicated well along the way and was always very accessible. He showed a tremendous knowledge in all the various aspects of design as well as the technical aspects.( Drainage pond, shaded areas, sloped walkway, fencing) His crew was very pleasant and knowledgeable as well and we couldn't be more happy with the result of our landscaping as it makes our new contemporary house stand out and still gives it a warm and very attractive curb appeal. Wonderful job!

From our first meeting with Gabriel to the completion of our back yard we were thankful for Gabriel and his team's professionalism and knowledge. Gabriel listened to our desires and needs and made them happen. He and Tom also added a lot of beautiful ideas that we would never have thought of. Once the renovation started, it only took four days to complete. The project included a hardscape plan, demolition of the old yard, irrigation, electrical, multiple plants, stamped concrete patio and gravel pathway. All of this with Gabriel's magical touch.

On the recommendation of an architect friend, Gabriel Frank and I began a conversation now more than 2 years ago. Throughout the project Gabriel (aka 'Gardener in Chief') was infinitely patient, supportive, responsive, flexible, and creative, as the initial plans morphed and evolved. Gabriel listened well, offered innovative solutions, and was unafraid to voice concerns about an idea he believed might disappoint. Once on the project, his crew was prompt, courteous, pleasant, professional, creative, hardworking and efficient. In its execution, the installation not only delivered as promised, but went beyond with a number of artistically pleasing surprises. I will definitely use them again for future projects, and can recommend Gardens by Gabriel without reservation.

Gabe and his team built fencing around my property, irrigated and planted beautiful natives. He also made the most beautiful cactus garden with native rocks. Great team, great service, on time and on budget. Deep understanding of the area and what works well in term of natives and soil issues.
