With over 12 years in the business of working with people to bring ideas to life. Golden Mean Landscapes, partners with their clients, by keeping them informed with photo updates to their phone. Offering advice and ways to improve an idea or project, and by suggesting materials or systems that we had success with in the past as well as what to avoid. We hired GM landscapes to revive our tired back yard space in Spring 2021. We needed a new deck with BBQ station, paved landing, retaining walls, plantings and a fence reno. We added a sprinkler system and lighting as well. Darren, Chris and the crew did an outstanding job. They showed up when they said they would, worked hard and left a clean job site each day. All of the guys were very friendly and easy to work with. Communication with Darren before and during the project was easy. He listened to our questions and concerns, heard what we were saying and addressed any issues right away. Darren is a smart guy and a good communicator. Really helpful when it came to choosing materials, plantings etc.. and we were able to stay within or a bit below our budget . Finished product was beautiful, even better than we expected, and the work was completed quickly. Could't be happier and I would highly recommend Golden Mean for any landscaping ideas you may have. Thanks Darren and Chris!

We engaged Golden Mean to completely renovate the front and back yards of our row house in downtown Toronto. The crew of 2 people were extremely professional, were on site very early each day and completed the job without any issues. We used the expertise in deciding on additional items that occurred during the construction. They were excellent communicators and followed up on any issues during the job. I can’t say enough about Golden Mean Landscapes. We had an issue with our backyard and we called them to help us fix problems from previous contractors. They fixed everything in a few weeks. Darren and his team did extensive work in our yard including new retaining walls, pavers, driveway, extensive planting, landscape lighting, and irrigation, as well as lifting and relaying of sunken pavers around our pool deck. They did a fantastic job. Their attention to detail was very much appreciated. They consulted with us at key points to ensure we got the outcomes we were looking for. Customer service was exemplary. We hired Golden Mean Landscapes through a tendering process arranged by our Landscape Architect. Out of three reputable firms, their price was the best. Most importantly, the quality of their work was exceptional. Having dealt with 3 different contractor teams over the course of our backyard/garage project, this was by far the most enjoyable interaction. Amazing overall project experience. From design, plan and execution I was very satisfied with the results. Very transparent with all aspects of the project. Estimates were inline with the budget and changes were well communicated. They welcomed feedback and incorporated in design and build decisions. Handled potential issue with neighbours very professionally which resulted in a positive outcome. Overall knowledge and experience was outstanding. GML did all of the construction work on our backyard renovation. Darren and his crew exceeded our expectations and did a fantastic job. All of the crew, and especially Darren, were very easy to communicate with and had great ideas. My only regret is that I didn't use GML for the design work . We plan on using GML for a front yard update in the near future. I would strongly recommend GML.
