Three landscaper designers over the course of the project resulted in a less than smooth execution. Numerous issues and mistakes occurred and management of the project was mediocre, at best. Lack of communication between departments caused issues at most levels. Overall, the cost versus output reduced the value realized. I used them for Phase 1 of a 2-phase landscaping project, but will not employ Grunder for Phase 2. When I contacted senior management to discuss the problems, I was met with a less than cooperative and minimally empathetic response.

Way too expensive for what they do. Can get the same work done at half the cost. Owner is arrogant when you don agree with him. Look somewhere else.

When we built our new home in the Cincinnati area we sought landscaping proposals from several companies. The Grunder Landscaping Co. proposal was incredibly detailed, well-thought out, and most importantly, included a mix an annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs and hard scape, which more than met our expectations and fell within our budget. Additional drawings were also provided by Grunder; these contained landscaping ideas that we could add in future years to further enhance our new home.
