The Houston Team did a remarkable job! Despite the endless rains this year, and the special material requirements, they finished the work on time and to the letter of the original design. Their staff on site was exceptionally capable and treated every aspect in an exemplary fashion. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The team at Houston Landscapes was engaged to update our back garden that included; replacing a wooden deck with the Trek decking product, replace grass area with stones, installed gas line for fire-it, removed cracked concrete patio/stairs and replaced with granite tiles, installed landscape lighting (auto and remote). - Budget was estimated with the final budget coming in pretty much on target - Schedule was as promised - They did an excellent job in cleaning up and removal of trash Best landscapers we've personally work with. Very professional, they responded to our request right away and made sure to plan every step of the way. They came in for a site visit, gave us a budget and a timeline and made sure the timeline was aligned with our deadlines. The crew was very knowledgeable and professional. In the end, they come in half what was budgeted! We are very happy with them and would recommend them to everyone.

We recently did a complete makeover to our front yard. We have lived in our home for over 20 years and have never spent much time in our front yard where there is a ton of sunshine and a small ocean view. Houston Landscapes was selected in an RFP I prepared for clients in Point Grey to implement a design for an entryway garden. Houston Landscapes managed all aspects of the installation, including hardscape and softscape, drainage, irrigation, and lighting - involving multiple trades. Although the project was small in area, it presented several challenges, including installation of large size custom size granite platforms intermixed with architectural CIP concrete slabs. The whole process ran professionally and efficiently. I particularly appreciated Houston’s flexibility and resourcefulness in managing the inevitable changes that came up during the construction. The client was impressed by how tidy and clean the site was during the construction and thrilled with the results. Overall it was a very pleasant experience working with Houston Landscapes. I look forward to working with Houston Landscapes on other projects in the future.

Houston Landscapes has done a great job in landscape installation at our project site at 1981 Highbury Street, Vancouver. Houston Landscapes employees were efficient, careful of details, and kept the job site neat during construction. I am impressed with the landscape that they built - they really made the site stunning!

I felt it necessary to send along a note to Jeremy that read, in part: '...Thanks to you specifically for a couple of things - for being so professional and accessible, and timely! We understand how Houston has grown from back in the day when we first used you, and are extremely grateful that we were treated with every bit as much respect as your more massive jobs. That means a lot. Thanks to your HR person (do you even HAVE an HR person?) for hiring, or for the planets aligning, to bring together such a great crew. EVERYONE - without exception -was personable, professional, and diligent. Steve is a great frontman, and a perfect representative for the company. A HUGE shout out to Matt and Devon, who did the lion's share of work. Matt is a true artisan. Every cobblestone is absolutely perfect, and the meticulous care and the thoughtfulness he puts into his work echo every day as we walk in the yard. And Devon? I cannot sing enough of his praises. He is such a lovely guy. He created magic in our yard, and transformed it from a ratty jungle into a real showpiece. Thanks to Devon & crew's excellent efforts, our curb appeal is through the roof. It was at the end of Summer 2014, my husband's friend Jo recommended Houston to stop by to have a look at our garden. It took Houston a few weeks to come up with a landscape architect design that was suited for our front lawn. The roots from our neighbour's ginormous Birch tree have eaten our front lawn. So no grass was growing. Houston came up with an attractive & very fitting low maintenance landscape garden. We decided to give it a go. So in the midst of Fall 2014, we underwent our total garden transformation. Just as the work started, the torrential downpour started! Non stop for almost the entire 4 weeks that Houston was on site. The rain didn't stop the Houston's landscapers from doing their work. We were very satisfied with the organization & clean up after every day's job. Besides having our front lawn removed. We also had a lot of our over grown shrubs & trees taken out & replanted. Both in the front and back. After what seems to be a big muddy mess for 3 weeks, things started to take shape. At the end, Houston added a shrub garden in the front & a beautiful Japanese style zen garden in the back. This was by far the best part of the whole project! The landscapers were mindful of my neighbors & the clearance of the sidewalk with their machineries & dirt throughout the transformation! The Senior landscaper visit the site on a regular bases throughout the job. Their follow-ups after the job was completed was also excellent. Came by a few times to check on the garden & to speak to us to ensure that we were happy with their job & their design. It's been 6 months and the follow-up continues. Anything that didn't look right or wasn't growing, was being replaced or taken out. I am happy that we used Houston to design our new garden(s). The new landscaping not only added enjoyment, but it has also added value to our property as well. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Houston to my friends, family & sphere of influence! Houston Landscapes has provided good services to a couple of our residential projects. They have a sizable crew which were able to provide a quick turn around on our pressing onsite needs. Furthermore, their staff is conscientious and friendly and helpful individuals to work with, showcasing good responsibility while onsite. Their work has been reliable and more importantly they offered prompt return and attention on all required warranty and repairs. Being service oriented they also ensured to provide options for cost-savings and always made sure to communicate well with our home owners during the process. We retained Houston to assist us with a major backyard reno project. From the time we first met with Jeremy until the time the project was completed everyone at Houston was a consumate professional. Jeremy was always creative, but realistic, in guiding us towards our final plan. Once started, the project to approximately three months to complete. The crew always showed-up when they said they would, always did what they said they would do, kept the job site clean, always tidied up at the end of each day and never varied from the project plan or budget without our pre-approval. All in all it was a great experience working with Houston and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering any landscaping project, big or small.
