He has completed a number of projects, large and small in and around the towns of Tiburon, Belvedere, Fairfax, Mill Valley, San Anselmo, San Rafael, as well as elsewhere in San Francisco and in the general San Francisco bay area. He is known by his clients and a number of practicing landscape architects for his work ethic, his expertise in all phases of garden design and installation, and his honesty in his relations with clients and other professional cooperators.

AJ and his crew from Inscapes transformed my backyard into a land of serenity! In a matter of 3 weeks, my yard became a calm, and esthetically beautiful escape. I was impressed with Inscapes professionalism and easygoing approach to landscaping and was in awe of the beauty that they brought to the garden. AJ took a serious and insightful approach to the job from the start and Esteban, his lead employee orchestrated the day without creating angst or chaos. I look forward to working with Inscapes in the near future, but for now I will sit back and listen to the newly installed zen fountain and conjure up new design ideas for them to create.

Inscapes remodeled our entire backyard landscaping along with concrete steps and brick patio. From day one we were included in day-to-day progress which was a welcome surprise. We were able to get to know the crew and felt the entire team (including concrete sub) were extremely helpful, professional, and patient with us. There was never a disagreement with money either, everything went according to the contract from day one to final completion. Couldn’t be happier!

Alain and his team were a pleasure to work with. They did an incredible job rebuilding a large deck that sustained significant damage from a fallen tree. Alain helped us to reimagine the area, and then he made that vision into a reality. The Inscapes team was honest, dependable and hard working. Alain was very easy to work with, and he is a great communicator which I think is so important when working with a contractor. I would not hesitate to recommend Alain and his Inscapes team.

My husband and I have hired Alain & Inscapes for two projects and couldn't be happier with the work. First and foremost Alain is the best to work with, he's professional, communicative, and couldn't be a nicer guy. The first project was an outdoor kitchen he built for us in Tiburon. When we decided to build a pool up in Sonoma, it was an easy decision to hire Inscapes to manage and execute the whole project. The result was an amazing space that was delivered on budget and on time. Along the way, there were a couple of last-minute changes on my part - as sometimes you don't see things in the plans that you see when you are actually on-site, and Alain made the changes without a fuss. What the outdoor pool and entertaining space have added to our home is invaluable, while our house is small, the outdoor space is now where we spend all of our time, we've got beautiful lighting, a pool, an outdoor bar, sonos speakers and many other thoughtful ideas thanks to Alain and his team. We'd hire him again in a second.
