The crew from Personal Touch Lawn Care just completed an outstanding job at our newish (to us) home. We recently had three very large and sick oak trees removed from our yard, leaving behind a chaotic, unmanageable and unusable space. In addition, a drainage issue out back was causing water to accumulate and run into the garage whenever there was a downpour. We met with Ricky outlining our issues and explained what we hoped to achieve for our yard. We can happily say that the final result far exceeded our expectations. The crew worked hard and with care. They aimed to please and were a delight. All a bonus. Ricky and his team paid attention to the smallest details and worked magic transforming our yard into a beautiful, usable space that will be enjoyed for many years to come. We highly recommend.

Ricky and his team (Casey, Andy, Keith) did a complete lawn renovation for us in fall of 2022. They re-graded our lot, improved our drainage, put in a beautiful retaining wall, installed new sod and landscaping, a new irrigation system, new uplighting, and a new aluminum fence. The best part about Personal Touch (and Ricky) is that he will work to make sure you are happy with the final product and anything that needs to be corrected he makes right. The results are beautiful and we are very, very happy.

Ricky arranged for us to have a landscape designer prepare a plan for our garden. We called him multiple times over the next month saying we wanted to ask questions and discuss options for the pathway and plants. He never called back. The next month we called repeatedly to ask when they were going to start our job. He finally called and said they would start soon and again we asked to talk about the plans. Ricky never made time to talk and we had to say in passing the material we wanted to use for the path. There was no prep, no weed barrier, no border, just crushed slate poured in a line. Instead of planting according to the landscape plan, a crew we hadn’t worked with before planted them randomly and in clusters rather than spacing them across the yard. Ricky was surprised when we said we wanted mulch around the plants. When the crews left, two large portions of the lawn were untouched. Ricky said he didn’t think we could see those parts. He did agree to finish these areas, brought in more plants and relocated some at our request. The first crew that did the hardscaping and built a stone wall were great, but that couldn’t make up for Ricky’s lack of communication and surprise when we questioned the haphazard installation and lack of attention to the path. Sadly, no personal touch on this job.

Shout out to Casey Brooks from PTLC for always taking care of our needs. PTLC , Speer headed by Casey Brooks built our outdoor oasis end of 2018 with a grill, outdoor eating, gas fireplace, jacuzzi and so much more. To this day it’s absolutely beautiful. We always get compliments on it. So glad we had it for Covid. And Casey has always been there to ensure that the workmanship last the test of time. Thanks Casey Brooks for taking care of my place with your own personal touch!!! Truly makes a difference.

I am very happy with my new backyard oasis. Ricky and his crew were professional and very easy to work with. My project was challenging because it was in my backyard. Despite that, there was no damage to my front yard access. The project took a while to start due to problems with supply chain, but once they started, they finished in a timely manner. I highly recommend Ricky and his crew. Now I have a place that my family and I can enjoy forever.

Ricky and his team at Personal Touch are straight-up miracle workers! We bought a new home, which we loved, but the backyard was a weakness - scrubby, overgrown, littered with pines and scrub, and no real place for our boys to play. We decided to go with the best (as opposed to the cheapest) and our research led us to Personal Touch Lawn Care. They came out and put together an amazing design and got to work as soon as we approved it. Suffice to say, our minds (and our new neighbors minds) were blown. These guys are absolute masters of their craft. We didn’t even realize that type of transformation was possible or that we even had that much space. Our backyard went from our least favorite feature of our new home to the highlight of the home. Our boys have a beautiful flat lawn to play on, and the landscaping/hardscaping are world-class. Our neighbors gush about the transformation on a daily basis. Their work was impeccable, with clear communication. They worked the perfect balance of getting our input when needed, but not overwhelming us with the small details. Their experience showed throughout the process, and their design taste aligned perfectly with ours - we could not be happier with the final result. From the original proposal phase through completion of the hardscape patio/fire pit project, Personal Touch was responsive and professional. The end product is exactly what we wanted and neighbors have all been impressed with the outcome.

We hired Personal Touch Lawn Care to help with bad erosion issues, create a space for irises I inherited from my grandmother’s garden, & to install a sustainable, water friendly, pollinator promoting yard. I gave them a vague idea of what I was hoping to accomplish, & they did that & more. Our whole back space is gorgeous - transformed by a crew that worked together really well & treated my yard like it was their own. On the whole, I was extremely impressed start to finish with the professionalism, the care & craftsmanship, and the knowledgeable crew at every level. We are excited to have a yard that we can enjoy so thoroughly & that our pollinator friends can feel welcome in. We cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Personal touch installed a patio, pergola, seat wall, wood burning fire pit, and rear-entranceway for us in October 2018, and new sod and landscaping in the spring of 2019. Personal Touch did an incredible overhaul of our backyard last summer. They built a large covered porch, a retaining wall in the backyard and rebuilt our front porch. They also laid around 800 sq ft pavers. The backyard is now a gathering place and favorite of our friends and neighbors. Casey was our project manager and did a great job. I had a gas firepit, a kitchen area, an eating area and a lounging area installed by PTLC. Roughly 600Square feet of stone work. They used Stack stone and flagstone. I could not be more thrilled with the results. First class all the way. I am a picky person with very high standards and they far exceeded my expectations. I will use them again for other projects and will let all my friends know. I also hope to use them for my maintenance. Their stonework team lead by Chillo is absolutely second to none. and the teamwork overall of the PTLC team is fantastic!
