After interviewing the top landscape companies in Portland .....I selected Landscape East & West for my Complete landscape demo and do over. By way of background I have done many whole house remodels as well as building a house from scratch . Those experiences tought me for a successful project you need two things----(1) a Great design and (2) a Team to bring that design into fruition . Gotta have both. I just watched a Bruce Springsteen concert so forgive me for this. But our Designer was Kent ...he's the Bruce Springsteen of designers. Nathan and his team are the E Street Band...they work beautifully together.. I could not be more pleased with out result!!

I am pleased to offer an exemplary recommendation to Landscape East and West. I met with Julie Williams to talk through the plan to figure the functionality as well as the aesthetic appeal of a driveway extension. She asked questions that other bidders did not. It was obvious that she was invested in the project's success. Nathan was assigned to oversee the amazing workers, and he updated me each Friday as to what got accomplished vs what remained to be executed. The workers themselves, Sam and Victor, were totally professional and disciplined- when they finished they made it look fantastic!! I so appreciated the check-ins, confirmations, and commitment that these individuals made to my project. Kudos to Landscape East and West! Very impressed!!

I got a contract with this company to turn my irrigation system on. They sent the same person four times who messed up every time. It took months to get my correct sprinkler heads. Customer service was rude and ineffective.

We started your system up on June 7. At that time, we replaced 1 head and 5 spray nozzles with water saving MP rotating nozzles to improve coverage with your old system for a cost of approximately $40. We had a no charge follow up visit from the same technician a couple days later to makes some additional adjustments. You later notified us that you preferred the original nozzles. A different tech returned to make those replacements in August, again at no charge. In October, we returned to winterize your system per the contract. I'm sorry to hear that you felt you had a bad experience with us. The newer water saving nozzles apply water differently that the older nozzles.

We have done several projects over the years with Landscape East and West and have never been anything other than very pleased with every outcome. Our latest project was landscaping our new downsized home in Wilsonville. Julie, our designer was full of great ideas that turned our small yard into a beautiful patio and garden. Nate was in charge of our project, kept everything on time and most importantly communicated with us regularly about our progress. Our team of Jesus and J.P. worked hard and efficiently to get the job done well and on time and left the job site neat and clean every day. The project came in on time and on budget. We will be using Landscape East and West for our next project!

David Been at Landscape East and West is the BEST! He is the guy to have handle your irrigation needs at Landscape East & West. He does it all, from backflow testing, to winterizing and turn on in the spring, to diagnosing and repairing issues with the system. And the best part is how pleasant, professional, and easy he is to work with! He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions and made sure it was all working great! Kudo’s to David for being such a credit to his industry!

We walked our neighborhood and those nearby, eventually determining that the E-W jobs looked up our alley. Then we met with Julie and bonded as we designed the yard. She was very patient with us! Her plant knowledge is deep and she has a texture vision that really shows, even in year one. Can’t wait to see the plants mature. Every employee was professional and friendly. They treated each other and the work respectfully and the result shows. All in a pandemic, supply issues and more!

We hired LE&W to help us do a complete facelift of our backyard space - every step of the way they were stellar! Starting with designing a space that not only fit our budget, but our aesthetic & lifestyle with kids. Julie, our designer was collaborative, informative and helped every step of the way. Juan Carlos & Victor brought it to life - some of the best crew we have had with home projects. Their attention to detail was incredible. We undertook our biggest home remodel ever last summer, basically a studs out redo of our entire yard for our new (to us) home. The yard had been landscaped years before, but had been left to languish so it all needed to be bulldozed and redone. We cannot say enough good things about Landscape East & West, in particular Lee Glasscock and the crew that worked on our project. We were not the biggest job for them, but they always treated us like we were their #1 customer and were with us every step of the way with excellent suggestions, solving issues / changes that inevitably come up in a project. We absolutely LOVE our yard, patios and deck. Lee and our PMs were great to work with, and their entire team is committed to quality and getting the job done right and well the first time. What to do during a Pandemic? Rip out your yard and start over. For this, we did a search of all the local landscapers and chose to go with Landscape East & West. Primarily because of their reputation and the Feng Shui feel we got from their portfolio of past projects. They responded immediately and the planning began. They listened to what we wanted and worked their magic. The entire process went very well. As the project progressed we requested a few changes which they accommodated at every stage. They were upfront about costs and revisions so we were never caught by surprise. The project managers and the ground crew were all friendly and skilled. Our new yard is gorgeous and we are anxiously looking forward to the next couple of years to watch it grow.

Commented: what type of aggregate did you use for the pathways? Is that DG?That is 1/4 10 gravel over the top of a 3/4- gravel base. The 1/4 10 is clean and doesn't include the fines that come with 1/4-. With respect to DG, given our wet climate, it is not an ideal path mate...
