Linden L.A.N.D. Group

We've had the Linden LAND Group design and install both our hardscape and landscaping. From start to finish Rebecca and her team did an amazing job. Rebecca quickly understood both our aesthetic and maintenance requirements and designed accordingly. The result is stunningly beautiful and very consistent with our home and surrounding property. The quality of work is excellent. Highly recommended.

The Lindenmeyr's have been stewards of our property for over 10 years. And how it has evolved! We started with with rocks dirt, clay and grass and over the years, has turned into a garden oasis for all native fauna - especially birds and butterflies. Everyone - you must be patient with the gardens. Becca will help create a vision for you, but you must be flexible. I know ! It is hard! You may want this plant or that shrub for personal or sentimental reasons, but then every year spring arrives and the annual assessment..... It is an experiment and Becca is very patient waiting for you to come to the conclusion that if you do not want to replace a lot of your garden every year- then native is the way to go. It has been 10 years and it has been a lesson of patience and letting go of perfection. The plant selection made by Becca will eventually form a wonderful tapestry - maybe not completely what you had envisioned from the start, but one that works with your soil, zone & weather.

I've been hiring Linden for landscaping design and execution for two (three?) years now, and am very satisfied with their knowledge and skill. Before contacting them, I spent months researching and mentally thrashing around trying to come up with a landscaping plan/design for my house. I wanted it to be it a rec/relax/entertain space with minimal lawn that would be ecologically responsible and critter-friendly, and support my gardening bug. Becca worked with me to come up with a beautiful whole-property plan, and she and Tim have quickly adapted it (sometimes on short notice) to unforeseen design constraints on the property or my changing wants. So far they've built me a very effective rain garden drainage system which channels my roof runoff away from the house and into a beautiful pollinator-attracting garden which dissipates it into the groundwater, so it goes to my plants instead of the street. It saved me a lot of money sealing my basement, is beautiful to look at, uses hardy native plants, attracts lots of butterflies and bees, and in winter the stalks and seedheads are bird attractors and nice reminders of spring to come, right outside the window where my wife and I spend most of our time. This coming year we'll continue the plan with additional pollinator garden areas, hazelnut bushes, stands of winterberry for the birds, and more.

We hired Linden to build an outdoor stone hot tub. They completed the project on time and within our budget. They built a beautiful stone surround, re-graded the existing patio, and gave us recommendations on managing the hot tub. We have enjoyed the hot tub all winter and it has motivated us to spend time outside. Linden was terrific to work with and we are looking forward to working with them on future projects!

Rebecca, Tim and the entire Linden LAND team have done several projects for us including stonework of various types and landscaping and we couldn't recommend them more highly! They are professional, friendly, timely and extremely knowledgeable. If you want the best, don't hesitate to work with Linden LAND!

Great job. Linden L.A.N.D. Group listened carefully to my concerns and respected my vision, steered me in the right direction and came up with and executed an excellent plan.

I have always appreciated the work done by Linden (Tim and Rebecca) and sought the opportunity for many years. My wife and I finally had the opportunity to see a project through (our household budget) and were able to hire Linden and couldn't be happier with the work that was completed. We took a small piece of our backyard and turned it into a nice entertaining space. It feels so connected to the house yet pulls from the environment nicely too. We've passed along referrals to many who have seen the work. It's "sells" itself.

I used Linden LAND Group to redo the landscaped beds on my property and they were great to work with. My goal was to diversify the plantings in order to provide habitat for local wildlife. Becca listened to my ideas and helped me come up with a great plant selection that looks wonderful aesthetically, and also sustains native pollinators and birds. Both Becca and Tim have extensive knowledge of native plants and are great at answering questions. They made sure the job was done on schedule and stayed within my budget. When there were minor hiccups in the plan due to oddities in my landscape they helped me come up with creative and cost-effective solutions. I would recommend them and plan to continue working with them on future projects.

Linden Land group designed and built us a stone entryway path, including a small shrub bed, from our driveway to front entrance. The problem we'd been having was that our guests didn't know which was our front door. Now, with a redesign of the dimensions of the driveway and the new pathway, it is clear which way to enter our home. We receive compliments regularly on the the look and craftsmanship of the pathway. Rebecca was very professional and easy to work with. We appreciate her design sense as well as her pragmatism about how to complete the project within our budget.

We have not worked extensively with Rebecca, but the landscaping project she designed and completed for us is very satisfactory. We especially appreciate her focus on utilizing native plants in the landscape and her willingness to approach a project in a common sense and economically efficient way. Rebecca's love of the natural world is evident when she is discussing a plan and we look forward to collaborating with her on upcoming projects.

Becca and Tim helped me 1. put in a patio and 2. landscape along my driveway. Both came out beautifully, were done in a timely manner (actually they were able to do the work 2 weeks earlier than estimated). Their estimate was on target and reasonable. A couple points of note: when Becca came over to talk about the project she actually suggested I live with the patio for a season and buy a portable fire pit before deciding where to put one so we didn't place it somewhere I would later regret. She also had great ideas for a multi-year landscaping plan that would not drain my funds all at one. The bricklayers were friendly and professional, the area was always clean at the end of the day. Tim was helpful in making decisions about the driveway landscaping, supporting my idea of putting in a sumac grove (for which I was getting a lot of grief from friends and family) to bring birds and bees but also giving me realistic expectations. Highly recommend these folks.

Linden LAND Group did an excellent job updating all of the landscaping around our house, which had aged out after about 25 years. Delightful to work with and thoughtful in planning a solution that met our needs to simplify and beautify within budget. Highly recommended.
