Linehan Landscaping

Who are the Linehans ? They are a father and son team who have been working together for over ten years with a passion for both landscaping and automobiles. Larry Sr. has been a entrepreneur in Salem NH. for over 30 years. Starting as the shop foreman for Hogan Tire on Kelly Road then purchasing that business and renaming it to Linehan Tire Auto and Light Truck. Along with Linehan Tire Larry SR. opened Linehan Limousine and operated that company for over 15 years satisfying his passion for the automotive industry. During this time, landscaping, his other passion, was performed as a smaller scaled operation. Gradually his attention turned fully to landscaping and his involvement in the Tire and Limousine operation came to an end. The landscaping business was expanded and is still expanding! Larry Jr. attended UNH and achieved a degree in business. He joined his father in the landscaping business in all facets and has been responsible for its day to day physical operations. As business partners they make up an ownership and management team involved with every aspect of their company. Larry Sr. has been involved in Landscape maintenance as a one man operation starting in 1976. Mowing, pruning, cleanups and maintaining an award winning rose garden were some of the earlier services performed. In 1998 the "one man show" was expanded to four men with two trucks, two trailers and became Linehan Landscaping and Property Maintenance. Services offered were expanded and the service area was enlarged. Larry Jr. participated as a part time partner during his college years at UNH. After acquiring his business degree he has become an equal and intricate part of the company. Together they have grown to over a dozen employees, ten plus trucks, eight trailers, Bobcats, loaders, excavators, hydroseeders and much more to completely and efficiently meet their customers needs from maintenance to design and construction.
