After more than two decades of use, we realized it was time to update our pool which made it clear that our landscaping and patio area, which were just as old, needed an upgrade. At first, we had no idea where to begin with such a large project. Choosing a Contractor/During the summer, we noticed that our neighbors were having some outdoor work done. Curious, I took note of the name on the vehicles parked at their house. This led me to reach out to Lone Star Landscaping through their website leaving our contact information. Chris from Lone Star Landscaping called me the very next day. He was very informative, asking about our goals for the project and bringing up important questions that I had not even considered. During our phone conversation, Chris provided basic estimates for the various items we wanted to address. My personal goal was to have a surface so smooth and comfortable that I could walk the entire area barefoot. Watching the travertine being installed was a fascinating experience, as we could see the design gradually taking shape. The finished result is absolutely stunning. Even during the renovation, neighbors walking by would frequently comment on how impressive the transformation looked. We spend a great deal of time outdoors, and since the project was finished, my husband and I have often remarked on how remarkable the work is. Chris recently re-landscaped our backyard. It was a great experience from start to finish. He was organized and timely from conception to execution. We needed input on how to best utilize our yard and he was thoughtful with his suggestions and did not try to sell us on anything we didn't need and even recommended against built-ins when finding we'd likely move in 3 years. His crew was friendly, professional and extremely hard working. Chris checked in throughout the install to make sure we didn't have any issues and was happy to revisit items when needed. I would happily use Lone Star Landscaping in the future!
