We built an infinity edge pool with a natural rock waterfall in 2019. When we first met Rob he was quick to understand our specific vision, respectful of our price range, very honest and extremely knowledgeable. Rob went above and beyond countless times to make sure our dream backyard was accomplished and was consistently on site making sure everything was up to his high standard. He completed the project ahead of schedule and communicated with us constantly throughout the process. His standard materials, finishes and equipment are all high-end. We have continued to work with him to achieve our landscaping goals as well and will use him for a phase 2 of our backyard design. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience and our final product and highly recommend Majestic Builders!

I knew from the moment I met Robert that I could depend on him to deliver what he promised. He took our problematic backyard and created a resort like environment all while delivering the project two months earlier then expected. Majestic was the only company I could find that was willing to take on 100% of the vision we had for our yard and make it a reality. Robert was on site almost daily to check on progress and make sure everything went as smooth as possible. Majestic's team of builders is what I would consider a top notch crew, but Robert was on top of them to make sure he was delivering only the best product, nonetheless. I was definitely impressed with the level of detail and care Robert had for our project. He took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns almost immediately after we brought them up and left nothing undone. I would highly recommend Majestic Builders to anyone I know. Majestic Builders, Robert Terry specifically, delivered a product that was well above our expectations. Building our dream home and adding a pool and spa that would complement our ideas, including landscaping the entire project, was no easy task. From day one, MB was innovative, excited, engaged and creative, communicating every detail and expectation throughout the project. Robert worked GREAT with our builder and was on time, and most of the time well ahead of schedule. He kept the job immaculate and his attention to detail was second to none. We had NO surprises on the product or the cost, Robert communicated with us constantly, answering his TEXT at all hours of the night. I would give him a 10 star rating if that was available. Best experience ever.

Robert Terry and his crew did an amazing job for us. We were looking for someone who could "do it all" and he delivered! We completely leveled our 25 year old Gold River backyard and started from scratch. Our project included: enlarged and remodeled pool, new pool equipment, full new outdoor kitchen, outdoor fireplace, fencing, wood pergola, travertine hardscape with ledgestone, extensive lighting and beautiful and thoughtful landscaping. The new yard integrated 4 separate living areas including: 1. Beautiful side yard Zen garden with a triple-tiered fountain for quiet time; 2. Full blown entertainment section with kitchen/bar, fireplace, built-in buffet and dining area covered under the pergola with travertine flooring; 3. Separate circular travertine seating area (with seat wall) surrounded by a rose garden by the pool. 4. Utility side yard with pool equipment and fruit trees. Having different living zones was important for us and Robert integrated them beautifully. Robert and his team were also very courteous, professional, detail oriented, very hard working in all types of weather (mostly rainy), and offered both artistic and practical suggestions which added greatly to our overall design project. This backyard renovation was complicated, had a lot of moving parts, and was sometimes difficult because of all the rocks and cobblestones that had to be removed. Robert was on-site every day to make sure every aspect of the project was done perfectly. He was very organized and each phase moved smoothly into the next. Robert was very committed to helping us see our vision become a reality. He listened and integrated our vision as well as offering unique, creative and interesting design concepts. We are extremely happy with our new backyard and would highly recommend Robert Terry and his crew at Majestic Builders.

Robert Terry of Majestic Builders and his crew recently completed a re-landscaping of our front yard. We chose Robert for the project due to collaborating with him on a couple of prior backyard projects. The front yard turned out even better than hoped; it is truly outstanding. We have a relatively shallow but long yard and while we wanted a modest courtyard added, we were concerned it would make the yard look even more shallow. What a pleasant surprise when the new courtyard actually made the yard look larger and deeper. And the courtyard is actually larger than expected. We also had concerns about the quality of soil and the fact it is loaded with cobble and very hard. The crew needed to use a jackhammer to dig holes for plants and a small backhoe for the extensive dry creek. Their work on that part of the project was terrific. All in all the demo, construction, planting, finish work, irrigation system and lighting reflected excellent attention to detail. Robert is an artist as demonstrated in his ability to see the finished project before he starts; he has a vision and if you let him go with the flow and make adjustments along the way, his talent really shows through. I haven't been able to collaborate and stay in step to the extent I have with Robert in working with any other landscaper or contractor I've engaged with previously. Again, truly outstanding results.

When deciding to give my yards a facelift, I reached out to Robert Terry, as I had heard of Majestic Builders and their outstanding reputation. After explaining my vision, Robert made creative suggestion, expressed ways to create the illusion of a larger yard, enhance view lines, increase privacy through lush perimeter planting, and lastly, utilize low voltage lighting to enhance night time entertaining and curb appeal. Robert was sensitive to honoring my budget, and Majestic Builders did a masterful job transforming my front and back yards for a reasonable investment. Majestic Builder’s crew members were polite and professional, and the project was completed in a timely manner. Equally impressive was how the crew left my yard neat and tidy before leaving each day, even in the midst of projects. They appeared genuinely concerned about the quality of work they provided, and paid close attention to detail which was very apparent with the end result. Neighbors have been stopping by and commenting on how beautiful my yard looks, and I am ecstatic each time I drive up to my home. When I decided to build a pool and remodel my backyard I had a general idea on what I wanted. I did a lot of research online and then started making calls. I reached out to all the major pool companies in the Sacramento Area. Many of the companies I spoke with told me about why they were the best, one company said that they added more rebar and steel to the pool. Another company talked about award winning design. Since my project consisted of more than a pool, I was looking for a company that would own the entire project. This included pool, concrete deck, outdoor kitchen, new fences, landscaping and lighting. Every contractor I met with had ideas about the pool and really only focused on the pool. Almost every bid was the pool then a guess on how much the rest of the project would cost. When I met Robert with Majestic Builders he listened to what I wanted and we discussed the importance of designing and building the entire outdoor living environment. He suggested we develop a master plan of the entire yard that would include the pool, concrete , landscaping…etc. the more I researched the more it made sense. Plus it was the only way that I could compare his bid to the other builders. Before I moved forward Robert took me on a tour of previous projects that he completed as well as gave me a list of references to contact. After some research I decided Majestic Builders was the most qualified to design and build my backyard project. During the design phase I worked with Robert and his designer, I knew what I wanted but it was really nice to have the suggestions and feedback that Robert gave. After the Master plan was completed Robert broke down the costs and put together a timeline to complete the entire project. Ground was broken in late January. The crews showed up on time and were respectful to my neighbors. Even though we had a ton of rain this past year the construction continued on schedule. As the pool came together I had to make decisions about tile, appliances and colors, along the way Robert offered his suggestions and feedback. Which looking back listening to his advice was one the best things I did. As construction wrapped up Robert made sure all of the detail work was perfect. I now have a backyard that blew away my expectations. Going forward, I would recommend Majestic Builders to my family and close friends.

To whom it may concern, I wanted to share my experiences with anyone who might be considering Majestic Builders for design or construction of a backyard living environment. We were referred to Robert Terry of Majestic Builders by another contractor we were working with. We were told that due to the complexity of our project it would be best to find someone who specialized in design/ build. When we initially met with Robert we immediately sensed he had a mastery of all the related design elements we wanted incorporated into our backyard. He explained his unique approach towards these types of projects and went into detail as to how he could develop a master plan which would include a natural pool, raised landings, stamped concrete patio decks and walkways, firepit and seat wall, bbq/entertainment center, patio cover and a complete landscape of our entire yard. We found the design process to be surprisingly easy and Robert was truly collaborative. Another quality that stood out was the attention to detail and the ability of Robert to really listen to what was important to us and translate that to this incredible master plan. Three very powerful tools he utilized were detailed plans and sketches, beautiful color photographs of similar projects and physically taking us out to previous projects to see the work and attention to detail firsthand. Lastly, he was able to articulate our vision very effectively ……….far better than we have ever experienced with other designers or builders. By the time it came time to decide on the most qualified builder for our complex backyard project the decision was easy ! We selected Majestic Builders because we trusted them to deliver on what they said they would do. Most of the construction timeframe we were away from the home. We received frequent if not daily updates and often even photographs of the progress which really gave us added peace of mind. The project was completed on time, on budget and with the attention to detail and quality work that we had grown to expect from Robert. The few warranty related items or loose ends were addressed timely as well. Majestic Builders spoke of “Customers for life” early on in their presentations……..I can say I will gladly recommend Majestic Builders for any “outdoor living” design or build my friends or family might consider !! Majestic Builders/Robert Terry did a complete and total Remodel of my backyard including, New Pool, New Plumbing, High Tech Lighting and custom Water Feature, New Deck and Fire Pit, New Electrical, Beautiful Modern Patio Structure, Landscaping.. the works. We couldn't be happier with our new backyard. All of our guests tell us that it feels like they are in a resort. Robert and his company were professional, prompt, communicative and most importantly on time and on budget. We will continue to use this contractor as long as there are jobs to get done.
