Marc's company did a complete renovation of my backyard including new patio, installed fountain, lawn, sprinkler & drip systems, plants, roses, trees and lighting. They did a great job, had a great plan and were on schedule. Thoroughly enjoying my use of it!

Marc Mason took a desolate scrap of land and created what looks like a high end resort. With a few ideas and a couple of requests, Marc presented the yard of my dreams. We met Marc Mason through our contractor. Marc’s crew was responsible for all landscaping parts of our project. Marc also supervised the demolition and hardscaping crew during the 5 month project to pave the driveway and patio with pavers, install concrete on our sidewalk, to remove sod and existing plants and to plant drought resistant plants, to install drip irrigation throughout, to upgrade the outdoor kitchen, to plant planters, etc. We were really pleased with the outcome and especially with our interaction with Marc. He is very knowledgeable about all things land/hardscape, has a ton of experience, was always available to answer our questions, to give advice, and to address issues through the duration of the project and after it was completed. He’s done that whether it was to replace dead plants or to fix a water feature that didn’t work as expected. Marc spared no effort to address problems and to make us happy with the outcome of the project. We decided to hire his crew to maintain the landscape after the completion of the project. It’s been going for a couple of months already and we are really happy with the outcome.

We have a pretty small yard therefore we needed someone who could make great use of the space, and help make it look bigger than it is. Marc suggested an awesome designer to help us with the layout and the kind of plants that would be best. I was very eager to add a living wall, and Marc said he had never done that but he would look into it. He turned it from a $3000/4000 project to less than $1500. And it looks amazing. Marc was good at following up with us and returning after the project was completed to change out some plants that died, or looked withered. Thank you!

Marc replaced our entire landscape with a well-designed succulent and desert plant drought tolerant landscape. The result was exactly what we wanted and complements from neighbors and passer-by's are abundant. Just as importantly this job was completed on time and on budget with no unpleasant surprises. We first contracted with Marc Mason 12 years ago when he designed and installed our backyard. Very pleased with his knowledge and attention to detail, we went directly to him again when it came time to remove the front yard sod, replace it with a drought-tolerant, drip system-watered yard, install a new walkway, and reface the existing brick planters. This time he partnered with Living Gardens Landscape Design to produce a detailed set of plans that included options for our consideration. Times being what they are, drought conversion projects are very popular but Marc was able to provide a realistic time frame for our job that was within our budget. During the course of the project I presented at least three change orders to the original contract that he took in stride. Great communication - I always knew when to expect his crew. Often found Marc on site to ensure the project was up to his high standards. Would highly recommend him!

Marc was one of three landscapers who originally came to the house to give us some landscape ideas. He was the only one who suggested we get a landscape designer to draw up plans because although he knew plants, he was not a designer. We thought that was a great idea and we really liked the designer he referred to us. After the design was drawn up, we again asked all three to give us a bid. Marc was the only one who came in person to discuss the terms of the contract whereas the other two just emailed us the bids.We really liked the personal touch. We decided to go with Marc. The project took about 2 months and his crew was always here on time and very professional( they even all wear the same"Marc Mason Landscape" shirts). If there was a day that they couldn't work, Mark either called or emailed us the reason why they wouldn't be here. Everyone that Marc has working for him knows what they are doing and they are very good at it. They were here early in the morning and always cleaned up at the end of each day. Marc knows his business inside out and has everything scheduled and well organised so that the crew is always working on something for the project. Along the way, we wanted to change some things from the original plan and Marc always listened to us and either told us that the change was a good idea or why it might not be such a good idea. He came up with the idea for our walkway design which we absolutely love which is very different from the original plan. Many of the plants from the original plans have been changed and again Marc sat down with us to discuss why a certain plant may not work in a certain area. What we really liked about Marc is that he came to the job site at least once a day and often more than that and If we had a questions he was there to answer it. Also he is very responsive via email or phone. Any time there was a problem, he was right on it. He never got flustered, always listened, and took care of the problem right away. We originally only wanted artificial turf in the backyard. Marc brought over some samples, but we found an artificial turf that we liked better. No problem. Marc got us that one and we liked it so much that we decided to go ahead and have it in the front too. That meant additional prep work for his crew, but it was done and looks great. We love the way the landscape, hardscape and lights have turned out. We would definitely recommend Marc Mason for any landscape project. We have asked Marc to continue doing our yard maintenance service.

Working from a design plan, Marc provided hardscape, planting, irrigation, and lighting for a landscape remodel. Marc was very responsive during the bidding process and answered all my questions before we started the job. He worked with me on the timing of the project and modified his schedule to meet my needs. Marc's crew was always prompt, followed the design plan, worked hard, and cleaned up the site after each day. Marc paid close personal attention to the project and was here almost every day to check and progress and deal with any issues that had arisen. We removed our lawn and replaced it with a drought tolerant landscape, mostly succulants. We added a flagstone patio and front porch. We have a pondless waterfall that recycles the water, and flows into a dry river bed. Marc and his team placed the boulders and rocks to look really natural. A new sprinkler system and some lighting was also added. Not only is our yard beautiful, but low maintenance and very relaxing. We are very happy with Marc's helpful decisions and his crew's work.

I had my front yard redone with drought tolerant landscaping and the front courtyard remodeled with pavers. After seeing the design drawings I added in the replacement of the driveway with pavers to match the rest of the work. The crews that did the work were polite and kept the area clean when they left for the day (as clean as can be with the whole front yard and driveway being demolished). They were very detailed in their work, like mitering the corners where the pavers met instead of just butting them together. After all the plants were in, Marc met with me to go over the irrigation system and helped me program the system to make sure the plants get enough water, but not waste any with our drought going on. He made sure that everything was going well every step of the way. When it came time to pick out the pottery for a new fountain, I found one he'd never worked with before, so he was just a curious as to how it would work out. We are both very happy with it, he's even posted a picture of it in his water feature section. Of course, the first day after it's all done, it finally rains! Can't wait for the weather to let me get out there and use the new courtyard and enjoy his work.

I hired Marc and his team to take care of the landscape maintenance for our yard after we had completely redone our front and back yards. Marc was extremely responsive after we initially spoke and came by our house for a thorough discussion regarding his services and his thoughts on what we'd need to keep our yard healthy.
