We took the recommendation of a friend who was also very pleased, and with the listing of “Partners” on the Utah Watersavers .com website, we were very fortunate to choose them for our project. We wanted to make changes in our yard to conserve water usage and add a zero-scape yard. We can not express enough how satisfied and grateful we are that we chose them. Both Jeff and Jordan and their entire staff and personnel provided the utmost service, quality, and satisfaction in all aspects of our project. Both Jeff and Jordan have the expertise and knowledge about the environment, esthetics, and what plants, trees, and shrubbery to use. They suggested the appropriate and attractive landscape architecture for our climate, residential area, and our needs. They created personal and attractive designs based on our suggestions and the features of our home. Their very capable, knowledgeable, and caring crew exhibited the skill, consideration, professionalism, and desire to create a design that would improve our residence. They brought in other professionals who provided a gas fire pit and pergola to enhance our backyard patio. Jeff and Jordan were very resourceful and were great problem solvers. They are clear and prompt communicators and listeners. They are adaptable and flexible, willing to make changes even after the work was completed. They offered to make changes based on the future growth of the plants. We love the finished product and are enjoying the new plants, lighting, large steel veggie boxes, flagstone and chat pathways, decorative gravel, mulch, artificial turf, gathering areas, and the new drip system. There is no grass, and there are no sprinklers! We appreciated that Jordan and Jeff were always very patient, kind, considerate, and even comforting. They carried through just like they said they would on their contract. It was a very successful project! We thank your company for our new outdoor living spaces.

Jeff and Jordan did an incredible job with our backyard. We had a ton of space but weren’t utilizing it because it was full of weeds and old, cracked concrete. Their design featured a beautiful patio and sitting wall, pergola, hammocks, garden, play area, fruit trees, and beautiful plants. The installation was quick and efficient and we can’t believe how great it looks and how much we’re enjoying it! Would definitely recommend!

Mott Landscaping did a fabulous job reconstructing our front yard. The finished product is gorgeous and once construction began, the entire job was completed in four work days. We have another yard to rebuild in the near future. We will be calling Mott back to do that job as well.

Our experience with Mott's has nothing but excellent. They completely landscaped our backyard this spring in preparation for an outdoor wedding. We did a complete landscape redesign. Mott understood the complexity and kept us informed of all changes. The end result is beautiful, and we get many compliments from our neighbors. Couldn't give 5 stars because the job was underbid by several thousands and didn't include all elements of our landscape design.

We hired Motts Landscaping for a large backyard renovation in the Holladay area after getting a few bids. The work included substantial grading and fill, building retaining walls & a paver walkway, and installation of sprinklers, fence, sod, and all plants and trees among other things. Motts was one of the few landscapers who seemed excited about OUR ideas to improve and beautify the yard rather than just do what they wanted. Their team was able to accomplish a huge amount of work in a very short time and went above and beyond to make the entire yard look better. They were always friendly and professional. Jeff and Jordan were always responsive, even after the main project was complete and there were small loose ends to tie up. We are very pleased and would recommend Motts to anyone. There are several reasons I am glad that I had Mott's Landscaping for my project. Their knowledge of xeriscaping and doing it for a really great rate were key. The process of start to finish was smooth. They were able to work within my HOA's ruleset, create a plan and drawing for approval, and make sure my hopes for the yard were also met. The speed at which their crew worked was amazing and they paid attention to detail. It is evident that they are experienced and know what they need to do to deliver amazing results. I spent a lot of time researching xeriscaping and finding a business that would do it at a fair rate. I highly recommend them as I will be having them come back in the future to do large upkeep projects.

Mott's Landscaping is an amazing company, run by individuals that I trust implicitly. They took on a very large and difficult project in my backyard that involved terracing, carving a 6' wide path into a steep hillside, placing literally tons and tons of rocks, sprinklers, and planting. I was particularly impressed with Jeff and Jordan's ability to work with our landscape to make it more beautiful. For example, you can't dig a anywhere on our property without coming across 6 good-sized rocks, so Jeff formed two different "dry streambeds" to accent the property. When The finished project is gorgeous and Mott's continues to be available to us if we have any questions or concerns.

The Mott's team did a great job with our backyard renovation. They replaced two old concrete patios with beautiful new paver patios, they built two crushed gravel pathways, they resodded our lawn, and they planted a wide variety of trees and shrubs. The team was efficient and easy to work with. We'd hire them again.

We hired Mott's to re-landscape the front yard after having to dig up and replace the water main. It was a disaster before they started and a park after. They did a great job sticking with the brief and keeping costs reasonable. The did the hard-scape, watering system, soil amendments and planting in just 4 days. They guarantee their work and follow up as needed. Hard-working, accommodating, agreeable, and professional team!

Hired Mott's to landscape our entire yard - including a sprinkler/drip system, patio with fire pit, regrading and new sod, and new beds. The quote was very competitive and Jeff and Jordan were very helpful with planning the work. The work was done promptly and the crew were great - they were here for a couple of weeks, but always left the yard looking tidy. The final job looks amazing - it's made a huge difference to the look of our house and we are looking forward to getting much more use out of yard next year. Mott's takes care of my yard in the spring/summer/fall and clears my driveway in the winter. I am very happy with the care they provide, including sprinkler maintenance, yard clean up, routine mowing and removal of clippings, and trimming. Finding the right landscaper is harder than I thought. Without personal recommendations, one must rely upon online websites, reviews, and intuition. Then comes the barrage of high-pressure sales, ironclad contracts, and huge up-front deposits. Just before giving up, I found Mott’s Landscaping, based upon glowing reviews, Gephardt approval, and several meetings with Jeff and Jordan Mott. I lucked out. Really lucked out. Yesterday I wrote out a check for completion of my backyard. With a smile on my face. A fair—more than fair—price for value received. The work was truly collaborative. My voice was heard at every stage. Mott’s Landscaping takes pride in its work, that much is obvious. My yard is glorious. Each step was completed with professional and thorough attention. Mott’s entire crew was talented, conscientious, focused on detail. Clean-up each day, impeccable. I never make recommendations. They tend to blow back on one. This is my exception. I want to tell everyone I found an honorable, effective, creative company that does its job well.

Hired Mott's after getting bids from 5 Contractors. Jeff and Jordan were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The job was complex and involved complete xeriscaping of front and back yards. Communication was first rate and they let us know what was happening through all phases of the project. Mott's crews did a marvelous job, and were very conscientious. Working from our designs the final results were better that we envisioned! The cascading waterfall alone made the whole project worth it. I would recommend Mott's to anyone looking for a landscaper they can trust to do a great job!

We are very pleased with the landscaping Jeff and Jordan designed and implemented for us. We have a difficult sloping yard with massive tree roots, yet the work they've done is exceptional several weeks out. We were quite picky with regard to the plants and they did a good job of addressing our plant list. That everything is alive and well is remarkable given that this work was performed in the extreme heat of July. This project also involved removal of a tree and installation of several large boulders and three new tress. They creatively planted such that we have three-season blooming plants, elegantly grouped. They also installed a new sprinkler system and drip system, and recommended an excellent electrician to wire an outdoor outlet from our basement. This, in itself, was difficult given the age of our house on the East bench. Communication with regard to the trees planted was sketchier than I would have liked, but I suspect that we will be happy with their choices once these trees fill out. Overall, we strongly recommend them.

I hired Mott's for a large job that included a new boulder wall, expansion of an existing wall, new drip irrigation system, new rainwater abatement system, and complete xeriscaping with rock/bark/mulch and numerous new perennials. The team was absolutely wonderful to work with - they were very responsive and respectful, always cleaned-up at the end of the day, and performed above and beyond duty in the 97 degree heat! We had grass/sprinklers and some curbing/retaining wall already installed. We primarily needed landscaping for our flower bed areas and sprinkler repairs. A fantastic job!!! Our yard went from dirt/mud to beautiful bushes, flowers, trees and rock in just 2 days. It is absolutely gorgeous and I love spending time outside now that I have something beautiful to look at. They listened to my requests and planted exactly what I wanted. I initially contacted them in January with a scheduled start date of May, at my request, and they stuck to that plan flawlessly. My property has a very, very large backyard which was an absolute disaster when I took ownership. It was an eyesore. I had tried to clear it, tried to isolate an area for lawn, tried to get rid of the gophers. It was just too overwhelming. I got several bids from different landscapers. Mott’s was by far the most thorough and the easiest to work with. Their schedule was booked several months out so I had to wait for them to get to my project, but it was well worth the wait. Their crew was professional and skilled. They brought in the required equipment (I needed an eight-station sprinkling system in addition to all the plants and landscape materials). They removed a huge “volunteer” tree that was a safety hazard on the lot line between two two-story homes. And they rebuilt the fence between the two homes that the tree had destroyed! In fact, the neighbors, when they saw the transformation, came to me and asked about my experience with Mott’s because they want to renovate their yard, too. Then they signed up to be one of the first Spring projects Mott’s will do in 2018 (after another project I’ve asked Mott’s to take on). I have nothing but good to say about this company.

Mott's did a beautiful install at my home. They are very knowledgeable and the quality of the work was excellent. Their crews were clean and courteous. Once they arrived on property, they worked until the entire job was complete. We had a very good experience with the bid process and the install process. Once we paid them for the work, however, we were unable to get them to respond to a request to return and take care of some minor issues with the sprinkler system.

Words aren't enough to explain how beautiful my backyard is, you would have to see it to truly believe the beauty! The rock wall, the paver patio, the firepit, the sprinklers, and the choice of trees and plants were above my expectations. I loved watching the transformation that they designed for my yard! Impressed with landscape being done on a neighbor's yard by Mott's Landscaping (as per the small lawn sign posted thereon), I called and received almost immediate response, which let to cost estimates for some extensive street-side plant removing and replacing (damaged by wintertime road salts)...and installation of more thorough, water-saving sprinkling system. The Mott brothers, Jeff and Jordan, were very, very helpful, completed the work within their estimates and the end results of the sprinkler system and landscaping went well beyond my fondest hopes. They even still visit the site to provide me with updates (which plants do I trim? adjust the sprinklers,how to rectify other landscape issues?) AT NO COST! For all those reasons -- and lots more -- I heartily endorse the services of Mott's Landscaping.

Mott landscaping re-landscaped my back yard and did an amazing job. The people were all very professional, polite and informative. They accomplished the stated work in a very timely manner and did a good job of cleaning up before they left. Mott's landscaping completely re-did our front yard and my wife and I could not be happier with the job they did. Originally it was full of scrub oak and shrubs and they designed a plan to place aspens and a selection of flowers and bushes there to simplify the yard. The aspens they places were absolutely beautiful and huge and the design was perfect. I cannot recommend them enough. The cost was spot on what they said it would be and they followed up with us after and promptly answered every question we had before during and after the process.
