My wife and I couldn’t be more happy with our choice to use Mufson Landscape, Pool and Design. At a time when our vacation plans were postponed or canceled as a result of a worldwide pandemic… We decided to put the money toward something that the whole family could enjoy… A hot tub! I called Nat, the owner, and visited his show room and picked the hot tub I liked. As soon as I had a necessary permits… the hot tub was delivered the very next day. The family loves it and it’s been used countless times since it was installed in May. Thank you Nat!!!

We hired Nat Mufson for a major pool renovation and a complete redesign of our backyard. Nat was responsive and a pleasure to work with. Nothing was ever a problem. He answered all of our questions and had solutions for everything that arose. Nat is professional and so are all of the subs he referred us too. We highly recommend Nat. It took me TWO YEARS of calling contractors to get quotes for pavers around my pool. The estimates ranged from 16k to 8k and everywhere in between. Most of them never returned my calls, or showed up to take a look but never sent me an estimate. My long struggle to find the best price and the most professional contractor ended once I contacted Nat at Mufson! Seriously... he came out to visit the site the same day I called! He gave me a written, emailed estimate WITHIN ONE HOUR of leaving my house?!?! I was shocked - Not only was his price the best of anyone I had spoke to so far, but he was RESPONSIVE, RELIABLE, KIND, and TRUSTWORTHY! I immediately sent in the deposit. I didn't want to loose this one, he is THE BEST. But it doesn't end there.... once the job was scheduled, they called me the day before to confirm and let me know the time and work process. His team worked quickly and got the job done in one long day. The work was exceptional, but what really BLEW ME AWAY was that after they were done - they GRADED MY YARD! They used the extra dirt to fill in my plant beds, and then took my unopened bags of mulch and they MULCHED ALL MY LANDSCAPING!! Wait it gets better... then they RE-SEEDED my entire back lawn, and then put hay on top! I was shocked! It felt like VIP SERVICE! Things I never asked for or assumed were done to perfection.... I finally have the paver patio of my dreams around my pool, at the most affordable price, done by the BEST IN THE BUSINESS!!! THANK YOU Nat & Mufson Landscape Design!

We used Nat Mufson and his team to redo our pool coping as well as a retaining wall that was failing. I cannot say enough praise for him. After speaking to several contractors, we chose Mufson Landscape to give our eyesore of a back yard new life. Nat's team cleared old, broken concrete paths away and replaced them with beautiful paver walkways and added a paver patio. They also outlined a stepping stone path to the detached garage and brought in new plants and shrubs. When showing off photos of our new yard, one friend said, "I thought that was a picture of a nice sitting area at a local park. I was going to ask which one because it looked like a perfect spot for a family gathering." Nat also introduced us to a fantastic fencing contractor who put the finishing touches on our yard with a fence that gives us some privacy. I'll gladly call Nat when we've saved up to have the front yard's landscaping and walkways improved. He and his crew went above and beyond to meet our needs. We couldn't be happier.

I am extremely happy with my decision to go with Mufson Landscape & Design. From the start, Nat and his crew were very professional and finished the job within a day with very high quality lighting fixtures. From start to finish (met deadline), team of workers here everyday, on time and staying late, if needed. Hardest working craftsmen we have ever seen. The quality of the work was impeccable. I’d give more than 5 stars to Nat Mufson Landscaping if I could! Our project involved digging a new pool and building a cabana with a fireplace and outdoor kitchen and we are thrilled with the end result. Nat moved quickly and efficiently throughout the project, typically appearing (quietly) on site before 6 am to make sure the day ahead was on track. As important to us as Nat’s knowledge of his trade, which is unparalleled, was his commitment to the highest level of client service. He is always responsive, respectful and pleasant. If we expressed a question or concern with the project he would work in earnest to resolve it and was never defensive, which is an invaluable trait. We have already referred Nat to friends and neighbors without reservation; he is hands down the best man for the job!

Working with Nat Mufson and his entire staff was truly a pleasure from beginning to end. Not only is Nat incredibly talented and creative, but he also excels in providing exceptional customer service. We undertook a major landscaping project, and while we had plans from a landscape architect, there were things in need of tweaking. We did not always know what we wanted which could be frustrating for some contractors. Nat met with us multiple times, offered his own solid professional advice and took us around to other jobs to get a better sense of our options. He was patient when we still couldn’t make up our minds, but also gently prodded us to make decisions so that the project was completed on time. Communication was excellent. He always took our phone calls or called us back within minutes if he missed the call. When unanticipated issues arose, as they always will on these types of projects, Nat was completely focused on finding a solution and doing whatever was necessary to get the job done. As for the staff, we have never worked with a more dedicated, hard-working and courteous staff. They showed up early and stayed late, even on Saturdays. At the end of each day they cleaned up the property and organized their equipment so it was out of the way. Mufson Landscaping turned our property into a “vacation home” we never want to leave.

I am a construction/building contractor in Old Tappan, NJ and have been in business for over 30 years. Nat Mufson and his team just finished a major backyard project for our 4 year old home. Large patio, outdoor kitchen under a roofed structure, and a pergola over the dining area. From the start, Nat was professional, knowledgeable, and organized. Mufson Landscape, Pool & Design designed and installed my fabulous bluestone patio. They removed old slates, arranged them elsewhere on my property and installed the new stones with great skill, artistry and a minimum of disruption.

Mufson Landscape has installed for me, for the last 2 years. They listen to your thoughts and concerns and have it done quickly. Their knowledge and experience shows in their workmanship. For me, Mufson has installed a custom pool - circular paver driveway - veneer stone wall - Mountains of Soil and Mulch and Lighting. The laborers are polite, quite as possible and clean. Amazing work!!

Nat Mufson and his crew installed over 500 linear feet of retaining wall, positioned numerous large boulders and river stone to creat a terraced walk down and created a drainage system to tie all of our house leaders and driveway trench drain into I knew how I wanted the job done and Nat listened and gave me options that would realize my vision for the project. Mufson Landscape took on a very big project for my family. They took down an existing front porch that was too narrow and completely re-built it, they designed a beautiful landscape for us and back patio with a built in kitchen. We were lucky to have hired Mufson Landscape, Pool & Design to redesign and landscape both our back and front yards and we could not have been happier with that they did! Nat meticulously designed our pool and spa and incorporated it into the landscape design effortlessly and beautifully. The bluestone patio is incredible and his staff worked tirelessly to cut each stone perfectly so that its form and shape was exactly what we had wanted. The front entrance and garden walls were also beautifully constructed and are another tribute to the quality and professionalism of both Nat and his entire team. Mufson Landscaping did an extensive renovation of our 1.5 acre property in both the front yard, backyard, by our pool, and they created a beautiful rivine with rocks. We are very pleased with the work done by Mufson Landscape, Pool & Design. Starting from the initial consultation and followup, through the job, the team was thorough, fast moving and reliable.
