"Nature knows best" is not our slogan it's our guiding principle. 35 years in the landscaping industry has taught us that nature will always provide clues as to what works best from native plantings to innovative drainage techniques. Ray Gobeille is the Founder and President of Naturescapes. He has worked in landscaping for over 30 years beginning as a laborer in landscape maintenance before moving into landscape design build. Throughout his career Gobeille has built a reputation for integrity and a passion for applying the newest, most innovative techniques, designs and equipment to his work. It was this passion and a strong sense of environmental responsibility that inspired him to found Naturescapes. Focusing on eco-friendly solutions for residential and commercial landscaping, Gobeille set out to make Naturescapes the preeminent sustainable landscape design-build firm in New Jersey.

Ray and his crew were great to work with! From the beginning of the design process through all sorts of typical setbacks that were out of his control, Ray was in constant communication with us. He was able to shift different parts of the job to accommodate the very slow gas company and neighboring projects so that our job could proceed with all possible speed. He even worked with neighbors to ensure that our project would benefit others in our small community. He and his crew were also very conscious of the children and elderly living in our house and went out of their way to keep the job site safe for my father-in-law who uses a walker. This was a big job, changing the hardscape on every side of the house, and yet he was able to keep the impact to our lives minimal and at the end of the day, we absolutely love his work. It's gorgeous, even better than we imagined when we started planning. Ray has a good eye and his little touches everywhere made the finished presentation perfect We highly recommend Naturescapes!
