Featured Reviews for Custom Fire Pit Companies in Oak Park

GLC Landscaping & Pools
Custom Fire Pit Companies in Oak Park
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsSeptember 6, 2023
“GLC was hired to completed several contracts. Nick and his crew (Mike, Jimmie and Boyd) preformed superbly. Several trees needed to be removed from the Association's property after a wind storm. Nick and Boyd led the crew in their removal and were quick, efficient and clean up the area upon completion. Mike and Jimmie troubleshot and repaired our sprinkler system after being torn up by another contactor. I had to fire the first contractor due being unable to troubleshot the problem. Mike and Jimmie had it resolved and repair in two days. Took a day to gather parts. Nick's crew were also hired to straightened our roads signage. Another job well done. Their pricing was better then other companies in the same business. We recommend them without reservation.”

“Very professional. They showed up on time, responded to any questions or requests I had. Good communication between customer and this company. My lawn was cut, edged and I would use Mow On The Go again in the future.!”
Allscapes Landscape, Inc.
Custom Fire Pit Companies in Oak Park
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsApril 6, 2015
“Tony, Bill, and the Allscapes' crew exceeded our expectations with our patio project. From the day Tony came out to estimate the project, the communication was excellent. We knew exactly what was going to happen and when. We were working with a really tight deadline, but Tony said he may be able to adjust some dates on a few other projects that didn't have strict deadlines . . . and he did! He also suggested we go see the stones in person as the catalog is just a representation of colors. That experience alone saved this project. My wife hated the color of the stones she thought she liked in the catalog. Instead, she fell in love with stones we saw in person . . . Polar Ash. Tony agreed that the array of colors in the Polar Ash pavers would make an attractive patio. Once the project started, Bill and his team got to work. And I mean work. These guys work hard and don't stop. This patio is gorgeous! Like I said, they exceeded our expectations. They cleaned up the yard, reseeded around the patio, and we were ready for our party with a day to spare! So many compliments. We were pretty proud, but the credit goes to these guys. Three weeks later, we get a phone call from Bill saying he wants to stop by to inspect. Totally unexpected. Three months later, I get a phone call from Tony asking how it looks and if we're still happy, Now that is extreme customer service, right there. Bottom line is these guys know what their doing, do a fantastic job, all at a fair price. Yes, I will hire them again and give them a reference any time! JD: Saline, MI”

Landscaper FAQs
The duration of a custom fire pit project varies depending on its complexity and the materials used but typically ranges from a few days to a couple of weeks. The process includes consultation, design approval, excavation (if necessary), installation, and finishing touches. Companies should provide a project timeline upfront, factoring in weather conditions and material availability.
Materials like stone, brick, and metal are popular for their durability and aesthetic versatility. Eco-friendly and gas-powered fire pits are trends gaining momentum for their convenience and lower environmental impact. In terms of design, thereʼs a movement towards sleek, minimalist fire pits that blend seamlessly with outdoor living spaces. Custom Fire Pit Companies should offer a wide range of options and stay informed on the latest trends.
Before the project begins, clear the area where the fire pit will be located, and discuss any specific visions or requirements you have with the company. Check local fire codes and HOA regulations to ensure compliance. Preparing a budget and understanding the full scope of work involved will also help manage expectations and avoid surprises.
Challenges may include delays due to weather, unexpected underground utilities, or material shortages. A reputable company will communicate these issues promptly and work to find solutions, keeping the project on track. Homeowners should be flexible and maintain open communication with the contractor to address challenges as they arise.
In many cases, permits may be required depending on the size, type, and location of the fire pit. Custom Fire Pit Companies are knowledgeable about the local regulations and can handle the permit application process for you. They ensure that all work is compliant with local fire codes and building regulations, providing peace of mind that your fire pit is both safe and legal.
To ensure your fire pit is environmentally friendly, consider options like natural gas or propane, which produce less pollution compared to wood-burning fire pits. Ask your company about sustainable materials and designs that minimize environmental impact. Proper maintenance and understanding of how to use your fire pit efficiently can also contribute to its eco-friendliness.
