We are very happy with the complete landscaping of our backyard. Opulands transformed a dead area of our backyard into an oasis for my family. Almost everything you see in the picture was done by Opulands and although the plants have not grown to cover the ground, lattice and arbor, I'm confident it will be a little slice of heaven in 1-2 years. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

We had all new pavers and front yard landscaping done by Opulands using a design we provided. They executed everything perfectly. We had a few meetings to figure out how to maximize our budget and they improved our design to create better downspout drainage, and a French drain, to guide water away from our home. We had a very positive experience all around.

Opulands did a great job on my paver driveway and new retaining wall. All aspects of the job look great and the team was very professional. I can also confirm that the Opulands team are expert in customer service as well. When I was having trouble with a french drain behind my retaining wall, Steven and his team were right on it! They scheduled some time to come back and replace the french drain to allow for proper drainage. They are very capable and I recommend them for similar jobs!

Steve and his crew did the landscape for our front yard and backyard last year (2021). From the design to the construction, Steve and his crew did a great job. The process is very smooth with little unexpected. We are very happy with results and we are now much more environmental friendly after the construction.

In our search for a landscape contractor to take on our backyard makeover, we spoke to several landscaping firms. Then we met Steven, owner of Opulands Landscape Design & Construction. The moment we met him, we knew that Steven was the contractor we wanted to take on our project. His congenial, sincere demeanor, and his obvious passion for landscaping won us over. An occasional modification to the plan was suggested by Steven or his foreman that resulted in an enhancement to the design. We were grateful for their keen interest in the beautification of our yard. Steven and his team transformed our out-dated backyard into a beautiful, contemporary sanctuary…simple yet elegant! We are over-the-moon with the results! We worked this Spring with Opulands Landscape to design and build our new backyard. Steven, the owner, was assigned to our account for the design and project management. Steven’s design consisted of a Belgard Paver Patio using the beautiful Catalina grana pavers, a spot-on Belgard Weston Seating Wall, beautiful FX Luminaire lighting, installation of a nearly real Global Syn Superscape XL Synthetic Lawn, a new landscape, a pergola, an incredible fountain from Giannini Garden Ornaments and finally a very elegant Basalite Grand fire pit. We had invited a total of 5 landscape contractors and what we particularly liked about Opulands was that they listened carefully and every conversation with them was two-way. The design was in one-word ‘spot-on’ and we are over the moon with the outdoor room they created for us. If there is one regret I have it is that I waited so long to get this project started. I realize I have very high expectations of contractors and in retrospect I truly don’t believe any of the other contractors we spoke with had the intention of creating something so special and unique or anything even close to the high standards we were hoping would be met. Some of the upgrades pushed our budget a bit beyond where I was hoping the project would land, yet, Steven is a very accountable person and the end result is one hundred percent worth it. We look forward to working with Steven again when we install our planned Belgard paver driveway and Summerset BBQ with outdoor kitchen over the next few years. We hired Opulands to completely overhaul our front landscaping and driveway. We partnered closely with Steven on a modern and clean design. He worked closely with us on the design and was responsive with input and questions. We were impressed with the speed of the project from design through completion. The crew working on the project interacted with us along the way on details, kept the site tidy and worked to maintain the timeline. Steven stayed very engaged throughout the duration of the project and was actively engaged with the crew on a daily basis.
