Chris Noonan really listened to my concerns about our drainage issues and created a thoughtful plan that both addresses the problem and beautifully refreshed our landscaping. Our project manager, Alex (Sensitive Information Hidden), with Santiago, and the crew did an outstanding job bringing it to life. They were responsive, professional, hardworking, and very accommodating when I had a few additional modifications during installation. I especially appreciated their clear communication, including pictures and updates throughout the process. The team truly cared about the quality of the work, and it shows in the final result. I'm so happy with how everything turned out and would highly recommend them.

From the first meeting with our design/sales consultant, Jonathan, to our last boulder with our foreman, Santiago, and site manager, Alex, this project was a unicorn - finished ahead of schedule, under budget, and was executed exactly as I wanted and had envisioned. Jonathan worked with our budget and our very difficult and complicated (easement, utilities, pool equipment) sloped backyard to bring my vision to life. Once the site was cleared, the team and I reassessed our plan with the natural topography of the slope to confirm details and preferences. Everything fell into place seamlessly from there. All my large canopy trees remain untouched and healthy which was a top priority. Fabulous company and team.

We just finished a backyard Renovation and the whole team from start to finish was amazing. Bryan was great to start the process and get everything started. Oscar was amazing especially with the sink hole and the just the overall work. We will be using them again for the next phase. Just wanted to add that Charles was great helping me with the day-to-day events that came up along with Bryan who started the project and Oscar who is great with all the construction.

I wanna thank Outdoor Makeover and Chuck our project manager for our unbelievable transformation of the front and backyard since moving in 12 years ago we’ve been envisioning what we have right now. we enjoyed picking out the slate stone the rock for the retaining wall all the details he worked with us on design along with Chris. we used to have a mud pit in our backyard. Now we have underground drainage and our her Shih Tzu ‘s love the artificial turf. I highly recommend Chuck and his team to do your renovation !!!

I am very glad I listened to the good reviews and decided to work with Outdoor Makeover for my side yard "makeover." My original space was a mess: dirt yard, poor drainage, and a dilapidated fence. Company owner Navid and his amazing team turned my side yard into a beautiful space with pavers that match my home, excellent drainage, an aluminum and wood fence, and dramatic lighting. Project manager Daulton, foreman Oscar, and designer Jon worked well as a team to make a small but slightly complicated project come together beautifully. I enjoyed the communication -- all parties were on a What's App conversation so we could all be on the same page for 1-2 weeks of the project. I also was really grateful for the video updates the foreman sent at the end of every work day. Outdoor Makeover exceeded my expectations! I found outdoor makeover online and was impressed with the great reviews so I decided to do a consultation with Chris to screen in and put a roof on my pre-existing deck. Couldn't be happier with my experience! Chris was the designer who was very thorough, giving me and my husband multiple design options depending on our budget. Once the engineer approved the design and materials were ordered, it was the fastest and smoothest process. The Carpenter Juan and his team were super skilled and efficient finishing the project within 3 weeks! Rickey the project manager deserves a 5 star review for himself alone. Navid is great to work with because he has a good vision of how a final project is going to look from beginning to end. He is professional, and all of his staff were meticulous. My photos don't do it justice because they were taken over the winter before a lot of plants started rooting and blooming. What's great about Navid is his understanding that hardscaping the yard is much more important that simple plant installation. I highly recommend him for projects large or small.

We used OMLS to do some landscaping in our front and backyard. Overall we are very pleased with the work and service. Jonathan was nice to work with during the planning and design phase. He met with us several times to ensure we had everything we wanted in the plan. David was awesome during the construction phase and always provided timely updates and answered any questions we had throughout the process. Ivan and team worked very hard to get everything done despite several days of rain. Ivan was also great with updates. Five stars for the service we received.

Outdoor Makeover did a great job completely renovating the landscaping on one side of our house and in part of our backyard. Outdoor Makeover installed lights on the outside of our house and by some trees in the front yard along with one large light on a tree behind the house. We always wanted to have this done and originally only wanted to get lights on the house. When Navid and David came out, they recommended to put lights in the trees as well as the house to make the yard and the house look much better. At first I wasn't sure it was worth it for the extra cost to install ights in the trees, however their recommendation was perfect . When the project was completed the owner Navid came out and wanted a few lights moved . At night the House and the yard looks amazing. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and timely installation

Kasey and Daulton were great to work with! Kasey was able to turn around his ideas and drawings very quickly. They were able to get us on the schedule and it was smooth sailing from there! The Outdoor Makeover team led a complete revamp of our backyard from design to full execution (hardscaping and landscaping). Their designers (specifically the lead designer Chris and Shawn) are creative, listen to feedback, and really work with you to bring your vision to life. I don't write reviews often, unless the service was exceptional. We initially had non-usable backyard (weeds, old retaining walls, massive slope, poor drainage). We initially went with a Gibbs because of their brand in Atlanta and while the final product was good, a 4 week project took 6 mo, had little creativity outside of my initial ideas, and required me to draw out ideas for our backyard on microsoft paint as an adjunct. Given our suboptimal experience, we decided to choose Outdoor Makeover for the remainder of the project (drainage, walls to prevent soil erosion, lighting, side yard hardscaping). Without a doubt, choosing Outdoor Makeover was a much better decision. Plans were thoughtful and creative and provided opportunity for feedback and accommodation. The pre-construction meeting and walk-through was thorough and the constant communication via Whatsapp group messaging was excellent. Everybody was on the same page at the same time. Videos were given of daily progress. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. The team of Navid, Bruce, Jonathan, and Silvano were top notch and would highly recommend. They just knew what they were doing and knew how to execute.

I hired this company and pd $1500 for design work for my backyard. The returned work was deplorable, and the company even admitted that they were having a hard time keeping designers and they had to push it out to a 3rd party. After numerous calls and emails (which weren’t returned) I decided to write this off to good advertising on a sports radio show.

After reviewing and researching multiple landscape companies, my wife and I reached out to Outdoor Makeovers to do a complete gut of our backyard, and when I say gut, I mean a complete demolition. Navid came out and reviewed our ideas and the current state of our backyard. He provided better alternatives in design and flow, which we had not initially considered. We were very pleased and impressed with his design and knowledge and decided to move forward with the project. The scope of our project included complete demolition, two patios (one raised) with a fire pit, new sod, mulch and a build out for a hot tub. Navid provided video updates throughout the project, which, in total, was completed in less than two weeks. For the size and scope of our project, we were very impressed and almost in shock of how quickly it all came together. That just goes to show you the dedication of his team. We were very pleased with the final design and how it came to life with the complete makeover that his team delivered on. We initially held off writing this review to give time for things to settle. That said, COVID set in and it actually allowed us to enjoy our new time in the backyard even more than we initially expected. Recently, we reengaged with Navid to address a minor issue with how a section of one of the patio’s pavers had settled. His team came back out and within the day completely remediated the issue. This goes to show that Outdoor Makeovers stands behind their craftsmanship and reaffirms the reason why we selected this company for our “little” paradise in our backyard. ~ Upon request, before and after photos can be provided.

After reading reviews, not surprised I saw a couple others where they took consult fees under false pretenses. Saw the same on another site so again how are they getting such great reviews?? Whether $35 or $250, deliberately taking customers consult fee is plain dishonest. I lost my consult fee also, with no services or usable advice given. They appeared to lose interest in giving a good consult when I informed them I was getting other quotes. I am sure consult fees are part of how they make money.The amount of excellent 5 star reviews look very suspicious especially since this was mentioned by the rep several times and the ideas were very standard and similar to other vendors. Not hard to create great fake reviews for your company. Most importantly, the quote was also so high it was ridiculous! There are much more affordable companies out there who do great work. Shop around.

Navid and his teams were outstanding. From day one Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces displayed exceptional creativity and project management. We had a few ideas on what we wanted to do with our front and back yards, but Navid and his team took what we wanted to another level. Not only did their final product greatly exceed our expectations, but they also turned it around quicker than first planned. Our yard now has a "wow" factor to it - my family and I now love to be in our backyard! Yes, we spent a lot of money - but the quality of work and material used was 100% worth it. This is our 2nd project with the outdoor team. Our first project was in October 2019 and we reached out to start our 2nd project in May 2020. Working in phases helped us to stay in budget and was a great decision for us. The Outdoor team had our phase 2 patio and covered pergola done by July 1. (Cost for phase 2 was $39,000) So about 6 weeks to complete our incredible project. My favorite thing about the Outdoor crew is that every one of their workers does high quality work. They truly treat your project as if they were working on their own yard. Although this is an outdoor space it feels like we gained more living square footage on our house. Functional, comfortable, and attractive, it was a great way to enhance our home’s value.

This is the second time we've worked with Navid and Outdoor Makeover, and once again we were thrilled with our choice! This latest project involved two retaining walls, a complete regrading of the backyard and added drainage, new walkways and trees. It was a total transformation that is both functional and beautiful, and we're so grateful to Navid and his team (especially Eddie and Sam) for taking such good care of it. They were responsive, respectful, and incredibly thorough. They also made sure our neighbor was completely happy because the retaining wall replacement involved removing and replacing some of her fence. While the quote might come in a bit higher than some other places, you absolutely get what you pay for in terms of the materials, quality of the work, and customer service. We can't recommend Navid and his team at Outdoor Makeover enough!

Navid and his crew at Outdoor Makeover just completed our big backyard landscaping project which involved moving a lot of dirt, taking out trees and replanting new ones and building multiple retaining walls. From the onset Navid provided great input on how to design our yard and gave realistic advise on how to save costs. Our yard turned out great and far surpassed our expectations.

I just had Outdoor Makeover put in a patio. These guys are the best. First they help you to design your space with helpful ideas that help you to end up with a finished project better then you expected. They show up on time and clean up at the end of each day. True turnkey job.

My backyard looks amazing the Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces crew is very dedicated and definitely worked very very hard. It is unbelievable that the work was actually completed in 2 days. The communication between Navid, Brian, his foreman and the crew was excellent. A minor issue was quickly corrected to my satisfaction. The price was reasonable (not cheap), but the money is well-worth it. My only criticism would be the time between hiring and beginning of the work. With that stated, we did hire Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces in the midst of the COVID pandemic, when most people were working on landscaping and property renovation. We would definitely hire the team for future projects

Great experience! We met with Navid for the initial consultation. He was very thorough and gave us ideas for the backyard we never considered. The consultation was well worth the cost, and because he helped in the design process, the finished product was much better than I initially expected. The initial design was a bit more expensive than we were willing to pay so Navid worked with us to get the design within our budget. We actually settled on a design a bit below our budget, and he advised us to budget an extra X% for unknowns that could happen while under construction. That was really helpful because as the project progressed, there were a few additions and changes that really helped make the finished product better than expected. Once the project began, Navid stayed connected and I saw him regularly. Excellent! Our backyard was an absolute mess from a storm causing a tree to fall down and overgrowth. My husband found Navid and from the moment he came over for a consultation to the very end of the project he showed complete professionalism. He took his time drafting up a design and once we approved it his team got on it right away. Navid and his team did a great job with our outdoor renovation. Our backyard went from being a mud pit to very usable through regrading and installation of artificial turf and a stone patio. He was very responsive to our requests as the project was being worked on and has continued to follow up with modifications that we've requested after completion.

Navid and the team did an outstanding job from the design through the build of my backyard and truly made my yard a vacation oasis. I had several other contractors that were very nice come and provide designs as well as quotes on the work. I had even hired another contractor the day that Navid arrived. I showed Navid the design and he asked very politely how I wanted to use the yard. I gave him my vision and he asked if he could provide an alternative to the design I had. Unlike the other contractors, Navid went to his car and in 45 minutes he came back with a totally redesigned backyard. I was blown away by the design and immediately knew that I was going to hire his company. He provided a level of expertise and vision that none of the other contractors could do. I hired his company and they communicated with me every step of the way. Partially through the build of my backyard, Navid noticed that my yard required an additional retaining wall and he right there made modification to the design. He reviewed the new design with me and did not charge me anything extra to build. In addition, the project manager Brian went above and beyond to make sure that my swim spa was delivered. The pool company came to deliver the swim spa and did not have the equipment required to get it in the yard. They were going to cancel the delivery and charge me an extra $1,500 to come another day because they felt a crane was required. Brian and the outdoor team immediately went into problem solving mode and called Herc to order the equipment. He negotiated on my behalf with the spa company and they agreed to come back when the equipment was there to complete the delivery that day. The team design the entire yard, constructed a new deck, built 14X14 hardscape patio with a fire pit, created an amazing water feature to fix my drainage issues, planted several plants and trees and installed lights to create a warm and inviting space. The end results is truly spectacular and exceed my expectations. I will hire them again to do my front yard. The entire team was amazing. Thank you so much Navid and team for making my yard a great place to spend the summer. I am the envy of the neighborhood!!!!

Not sure why other people gave such high rating to this company. I fail to understand their business model. The first step is you decide what type of design you want, say manual drawing. Then schedule have a consultation with them, they will come up with a design and estimate. But in order to get the design, you have to pay first, 250. If you decide not to use them, they take the design. You spend 250 for nothing. I don’t understand how you can do compare shopping with them

From beginning to end, the project with Navid and this team was nothing but great. I had an old deck that was basically falling in and needed replacing. I initially met with Navid and we walked through the area and he sketched out the design for a new paver patio and backyard area. Leading up to actual project work, Tina was very quick to respond with questions around coordinating meetings and general questions about the project. One of the great things about the project was that Navid’s team was able to do everything - install pavers, relocate and rewire my hottub, install new lighting and add a new electrical outlet - a true one-stop shop. This is the second time I have used Outdoor Makeover and Navid. I wanted some major clearing out and dressing up in the back yard. Navid knew right away what should be done to address a major water shed issue I had throughout the yard. I had a dry ditch of river rock installed to create a drainage solution and it looks fabulous!! II love it!!! And with all the rain we have had this February, it has been the perfect thing to have!! I also had a lot of old shrubs removed, things transplanted, new plants put in, mulch and pine straw put down and the existing irrigation made to fit the new configuration. The final touch was the accent lighting that Navid knows just where to install to give the yard a professional and elegant look! You can't go wrong with Outdoor Makeover.

Even after the job was over, we had a problem with one of our trees and a couple of days after notifying them the new tree was in place. Excellent service.

Went beyond what we ever could have imagined. When Navid first came to me to listen to my ideas about the backyard he was very attentive and listened to my grand plan. But then he wisely challenged me and completely suggested something different which in the end made so much more sense and the project turned out to be superb. I have never met anyone in my life who works as hard as Navid does and this is the same for his entire team. What all the reviews say is true...he is obsessed about customer satisfaction and that is what sets this company apart from all the rest. These guys are the real deal. They were punctual, professional, and transparent. There is a reason why they have such high reviews. For my project, they raised and flattened our front yard through grading. Installed new soil, sod, and stone walkways. Cleaned up the back yard and trimmed/cut down three trees. They constantly checked to make sure I was satisfied and comfortable. These are best guys around hands down.

This team did a great job. They worked hard, they were courteous, and the workmanship is excellent. the Front of our home looks great. We discussed our thoughts with Navid and he shaped the vision and brought it all together. there were a few hiccups as there always will be with work on this scale, but the team was responsive and addressed them right away. You will pay for the work they do and it is worth it. We had a crumbling walkway and planters to both sides of the front door. our stoop was in bad shape as well. They made it into a zen environment that fits with the home.

Navid and crew do excellent work. My backyard was a mess and I had bad drainage problems. They fixed the drainage with some grading, a retention wall, and a dry creek bed. I also had them add a patio and some nice lighting. The work is great! His team is responsive and professional and were in-and-out quickly. Navid gave me numerous walkthroughs and project updates as the effort progressed.

I could not be any happier about my new backyard. I was upfront with Navid about my budget limitations and my must have list. This was a lot of money to spend but our yard needed major help. We needed all deck, fences, shed, retaining walls and concrete removed. They finished on time and on budget. And I ended up getting more for my money than we agreed upon initially. For example, the crew stayed late to solve a drainage problem on an existing part of the yard that wasn’t part of their scope. However they wanted their new drainage to work and weren’t satisfied to leave something in place that was broken. They re graded our lot, built a 33ft retaining wall, outlined a new patio, and put in sod. This more than doubled our open space. I was most impressed by how quick and competent the Outdoor Makeover team was. They completed my job in four days. They had the giant dumpster removed off my property within hours of it being delivered and filled. They cleaned up and left no trace expect a huge gorgeous new backyard. It feels like we moved. I can’t wait to have the Outdoor Makeover team back to our house to build a patio and fire pit.

Stop the search!! Outdoor Makeover is the answer for your dream landscape design. I researched websites, looked on Nextdoor, and spoke to numerous landscape companies, but felt immediately comfortable with Navid after our initial meeting. He listened to our landscape goals and budget and then went to work on his design. Navid’s creative design and talented vision are quite impressive. From that initial design to spreading of the final mulch and walk through, Navid was completely held accountable for the work and made sure his crew executed his vision from paper to land. From when the well-staffed team came the first day until completion, I felt the process was interactive and Navid made adjustments to the plan based upon our input. To my surprise, he had his team demolish an extra overgrown patch of ivy that was not part of the plan to make the look complete. During the makeover, I also worked with Tyson. He was superb at listening to my concerns, being responsive, and making sure quality was top-notch. There was an unexpected drainage and mulch issue that I brought to their attention. Navid did not stop until he knew I was 100% satisfied with the outcome. Even when the project was completed, I requested more sod not in the original plans, but Navid brought the team back out to finish. Overall, I was very impressed with the Outdoor Makeover team as a whole. Based on the reviews, and a referral from a very satisfied neighbor of ours, our expectations for Outdoor Makeover and Construction were already sky high but the work by Naveed and his team exceeded anything we could have hoped for! From the moment you meet Naveed he exudes competence, professionalism, and warmth. He is authentic and genuine and you can tell that he isn't trying to "sell" you, he simply wants to work with you to figure out the best way to deliver an amazing product for a fair price. As phase 1 of our project, we had Naveed reimagine our desolate front yard. The great thing about Naveed is that he is just as comfortable coming up with a vision/design from scratch (what he did for us) as he is executing on your existing vision. We had no real vision coming into the project other than wanting it to look great, be fun for our young children, and be low maintenance.... but he asked the right questions to quickly understand our budget, priorities, and style and then efficiently came up with a design. His crew was great but he was frequently onsite, checking in on the quality and ensuring we were happy. I can't tell you how many times he worked around my schedule to come talk late in the evening or on Sundays. About 6-months after completing the front yard we had Naveed and his team come back for a complete overhaul of our unusable, swampy, back yard. He quickly figured out how to handle the drainage challenges by installing drains leading to a beautiful dry creek bed and came up with a slew of creative ideas to make the backyard a wonderland for our entire family. As the backyard project progressed, my vision for the final product continually evolved and Naveed was always patient and collaborative. Eventually we ended up with a paver patio, a turf backyard, a stackstone gas firepit, and outdoor kitchen, a putting green, a stone walled garden bed and an elevated seating area... all of which were executed beautifully. Outdoor Makevover is neither the most expensive nor the least expensive option in the design/build landscape market. That said, I can't imagine better service, a better product, or an overall better experience than they delivered. Our home, and the way that we use it, has been transformed and we couldn't be happier.

We are in a new house and desperately needed a backyard makeover from the boring boxy yard the builder left us with. We turned to Outdoor Makeover judging them by their outstanding reviews and our experience is no different. We worked with Navid as our main designer and from the initial session to the final product, it was a pleasure working with him and his team. He had great design ideas, and most importantly we felt heard, he paid attention particularly to how we would use the space and brought creative ideas to the table that we weren't even thinking of that will now make the space much more usable for us. Some examples would be adding a stone seating wall instead of railings all around our deck, a ledge on the only railing we have so we have more room for guests to put their food and cocktails on as we entertain. What was most important at the end of the day is the attention to detail and quality of the work done. For eg. we are certain the way the deck was built it would last us several years longer than the front porch done by our builder, Navid personally walked around the property and made sure his team didn't miss a speck when it came to mulching around the yard. There were changes we suggested along the way and the team was more than accommodating to incorporate to ensure we were happy. I would certainly hire them again to do any outdoor projects I may have in the future.

Fantastic service! They are true to their word, and go above and beyond. The whole team is very detailed and efficient. Navid went out of his way to be relatable. He even helped me clean out my garage! There were quite a lot of tasks that were not in the plan that they did for no charge. Not only that, but Navid is very skilled in landscape design. He will talk you through process, and listen and give excellent suggestions. During the work, Navid showed up to my house every day to make sure we were happy with how everything was going. We hired Outdoor Makeover after receiving 3 other proposals. They were a standout! We installed a retaining wall along the rear of our home to solve an erosion issue. We also added a fire pit and removed trees to sod an area that was previously unusable. Navid paid great attention to detail during the design and installation of the project. We recently worked with Outdoor Makeover on our backyard landscaping project. Outdoor Makeover’s consultation with Navid was the most thorough and innovative consultation we completed. We struggled with how to best utilize limited funds to transform essentially two separate sections of yard (overgrown pool area and overgrown hillside play area.) Navid came up with a way to landscape our entire yard and stay within our budget. Our project was delayed due to a rainy spring, but Navid was very communicative and kept realistic expectations as we planned around inclement weather. On day one Navid, myself and his entire crew walked through the yard and project scope. Outdoor makeover’s foremen and entire crew were extremely professional and organized throughout the project. Navid visited our site daily but his crew was always available to answer questions and assist as needed. Everyone was very friendly and hard working. Navid was communicative every day of our project so there were no cost surprises, etc at closing. Upon project completion our yard was left spotless. There was zero trash left in our yard (something I feel never happens). Our yard was completely transformed into a beautifully functional space and we will absolutely use Outdoor Makeover again for future projects. The most important values I look for in constructions projects are, communication, attention to detail, realistic adherence to initial project scope and honesty and Outdoor Makeover met and exceeded all of these requirements.

My wife and I learned about Navid and Outdoor Makeover & Construction after our neighbors had the company re-landscape their property. Our neighbors recommended them highly based on the quality of work they did for them. We originally met with Navid for a design consultation towards the end of January/beginning of February. He immediately addressed many of the extensive concerns we had regarding the grading and landscaping of our property. He designed an effective and aesthetically pleasing solution to the problems, while incorporating already existing elements from our property. To address our drainage needs, Navid incorporated multiple swells in the yard as well as a drainage system to direct water from the middle of the yard towards a protected tree space behind my property. We replaced the existing Bermuda grass with a heartier Zoysia grass which can stand up better to foot and dog traffic in the yard. Because of our schedules, we elected to wait until the beginning of the summer to have the work completed and Navid and his team were very understanding of our wishes to do this and worked to schedule this project when it was convenient for us. From the time of the initial consultation until the work was completed the company’s team worked with us to address changing needs and make sure that we were comfortable with the scope of work being performed. During the project we were met with an unexpected neighbor issue regarding our already approved design. Navid and his team were patient and completed other parts of the project while we came to resolution with our HOA. Once we had resolution, Outdoor Makeover & Construction worked very hard to re-configure designs in order to have the landscaping comply with ever-changing HOA guidelines. The team which was on hand for the work was very courteous, professional, and demonstrated excellent attention to detail. The team worked to reconfigure our existing irrigation system to ensure that all of the new sod and plants would receive appropriate water. The crew seemed to always be working, even doing extra complimentary jobs which were not in the contract and plan. In the end, the team did extra mulching, and tree trimming which would have taken us a lot of extra time and energy in the hot June sun. I felt like I had the ability to provide my input with the on-hand team throughout the entirety of the project and appreciated being heard as the work was being done. In total, from the time that materials begun being delivered until the project was complete was 3 and a half days. At the end of each day, the team cleaned up loose materials, debris, and any trash. At the conclusion of the project, the team worked very hard to restore my drive way to its original condition and status, pressure washing it and cleaning it thoroughly, making it appear as if they had never used it as a staging area for the literal tons of material used. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the performance of Outdoor Makeover & Construction. They are a highly skilled team of professionals and re-created an amazing backyard space which our builder should have originally done. They took what had become an unusable backyard space (because of drainage, grading, and foot/dog traffic), and created a great outdoor space we look forward to using for years to come. We would happily recommend this company to all of our friends and colleagues and will definitely use them in the future.

Before hiring Outdoor Makeover, I was pretty happy with our yard. It had a certain rustic charm, and to me it looked like a ruggedly drawn storybook illustration. My husband, on the other hand, was pretty adamant that we needed to make some changes. Fast forward to today, and I couldn't be happier. Our yard looks like an oasis - every time I look at it, I instantly feel a sense of calm...and it's 100% more functional for the needs of our family. The things that made our experience with Outdoor Makeover top notch are: 1) The work quality and attention to detail of Navid and his team were evident at each step of the project, from tree removal, to the size/height/angle of our stone retaining wall in relation to the rest of our yard, down to the final punch list. 2) How quickly the transformation occurred 3) Navid was very present and responsive from our initial meeting all the way through to the end of the project. He had good suggestions for how to achieve the yard we desired within the price point that we needed and when we weren't aligned on certain design ideas, he was very flexible with trying to bring our vision to life. He was also great about making sure his team was in complete alignment with the daily tasks. They huddled up at least 2 times per day to walk the yard and discuss project status. After living in my home for 20 years, my yard was in desperate need of a redo. I had been wanting to freshen the landscape, replace the lawn, and add a patio in the back for a while, but the whole idea was so daunting I kept putting it off. And there was the added difficulty of accessing my backyard and grading issues. Extensive work that my dad, a retired contractor, had noted and was uncomfortable with himself, even though he agreed it all needed to be addressed. After talking with several other parties, I came across Navid from Outdoor Makeover. He was confident that all the issues I was concerned about would be no problem. AND he was absolutely right. In six consecutive days, he and his crew transformed my whole yard with a patio, grading, stump grinding, improved drainage, landscape plantings, improved my existing sprinkler system, and added a side parking space. Navid came to the site every day. He and his men were diligent and always positive, willing to address any concerns I had. He was a good listener, very patient with my slow decision making, addressing every concern, was never in a rush when it came to my needs and was always in constant contact. Navid offered to talk with anyone else I wanted involved and even walked my neighbor around to show him what was happening. He and his crew moved furniture around, adjusted plantings, and made suggestions that would make my life easier. After the job was complete,( and balance paid), you’d expect a clean up, which they did. But what I didn’t expect was the extra mile they went in pressure washing the drive, an existing swing, an existing concrete bench and placing furniture. Navid followed up the next day to make sure I was happy to which I responded with some adjustment requests, that were immediately done that same day, with a second followup to make sure that those were addressed correctly. One of my neighbors expressed how much he had enjoyed watching the process. Another, asked Navid about some water feature issues. I feel very fortunate to have found such a professional and conscientious company. Should the need arise in the future, I will definitely contact Navid and Outdoor again, and I think my neighbors will too!

If you live in Atlanta and aren't using Outdoor Makeover and Construction then you are simply doing it wrong. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about Navid and his team! My yard is beautiful (or it will be in the spring) and he, and they, more than exceeded my expectations! Navid was patient, knowledgeable, flexible, and funny (although not as funny as he thinks he is.) I interviewed four or five companies after hitting a roadblock with my original landscape designer, and while I ended up spending decidedly more than I originally intended, he made me feel good about the decision. The work was done right and thoughtfully and I am super excited to see how it all grows in! I'm a Realtor in town, and I will not hesitate to recommend Navid and team to all of my clients!

We needed a new deck and some adjacent landscaping. We wanted the projects to be coordinated so we contacted Outdoor Makeover and Construction. We had initial meetings with both Omid and Navid. Each listened to our requests and worked with us to prepare designs that were both practical and met our wishes and needs. When each project was started it became obvious that we had made the correct decision to hire the Makeover Brothers. The work ethic of the crews reflected the excellent work ethic of the owners. Omid and Navid were on site every day at least once and often two or three times. From the beginning until the end, each and every question we presented was addressed and changes made if necessary. The attention to detail was exemplary. Our deck is very well constructed and quite attractive and we are pleased and will enjoy it for years to come. The landscaping includes four stone walls and several different varieties of plants that provides a visually pleasing result. We are excited to watch it mature from our great deck. Both Navid and Omid volunteered valuable suggestions for other improvements to our outdoor space. We are so satisfied with our experience with Outdoor Makeover and Construction that we are already thinking about the next project we will undertake with them.

We’re new to the area and we haven’t done many large home projects before so we were a little lost and unsure on how to proceed when we decided we wanted to put a roof over our patio and install a fireplace outside. We did some research and looked at different contractors but were pretty much sold after just a couple meetings with Navid and Omid. We were just so impressed with their honesty and experience and we could tell that we could trust them with our home. They were both extremely responsive throughout the entire process and we were surprised and appreciative by how much communication we got from them the entire time, even during slow periods while we were waiting for materials and permits to come in. They made a lot of great suggestions that we would have never thought about but love now that it’s all installed. The backyard was a mess with a very small concrete slab patio. Due to the slope of the backyard, water pooled around the patio and lower part of the yard making it unusable. Navid created a design based upon my requirements which will ensure that the yard will no longer flood, a huge patio and build a retaining wall. The storm drains were extended and a dry creek bed was installed to ensure that water is channeled and won't flood. It's awesome!

I have watched Outdoor Makeover and Construction since their start. Every time I googled the best of Atlanta, their company always popped up, I now see why. The experience was positive from start to finish. Navid listens and asks questions, trying to figure out your priorities. He makes suggestions, but doesn't pressure. The service and final product are phenomenal and totally worth the expense. Navid is responsive to any issues that arise and he stays available after the project is completed. Navid and his team at Outdoor Makeover completed a major overhaul of our landscape almost a year ago. We have lived in Sugarloaf Country Club for the past 20 years and over the years our shrubbery had become overgrown and much of our bermuda lawn was suffering from too much shade. Our makeover was a major project but we couldn't have been more pleased with the final results. The new design included removal of most of our existing shrubbery replacing it with more appropriate shrubs, expanded beds and hardscapes that transformed our entire yard. We had a WONDERFUL experience working with Navid and his team who designed/installed a BBQ station and repaired/revamped a water feature at our home. We had a general idea of what we thought we wanted, but his advice, direction, and ideas provided a MUCH better result. He was clear and upfront about what the process would entail and communicated clearly about the timeline. Highly recommended. Their design for my raised garden beds was so creative and classy, much more beautiful than anything I could have imagined myself. I wasn't really into the lighting initially, but WOW what a huge difference it made. Love it! My whole situation was very unique and the plans changed almost daily, but these guys rolled with the punches, they were extremely flexible and accommodating. One day I had a flat tire and they came to my rescue, even though they weren't working at my house that day! I can't say enough good things about this company.

Navid and team did a fantastic job with both our back yard and side yard. They started when they said they would, it took them 3 days to lay 15 pallets of sod and build a fire pit. I plan on using them for all of my future major landscaping projects.

My husband and I purchased our first home – a fixer upper in in-town Atlanta – last year. While we’ve made great progress inside, our yard was a complete disaster zone. We had major issues in both the front and the backyard. During our first meeting with Navid, he took time to fully understand our issues and the quirks of home, our lifestyle and our vision for the yard before jumping into the tactical details, which made a huge difference in terms of how the project came together. With Navid really understanding what we were looking for upfront, it helped us to save time in the end. Navid helped us come up with a phased approach to tackling our issues and we decided to start by focusing in the backyard. We had major drainage issues resulting in standing water up against our foundation, a makeshift back patio, and uneven ground with concrete and construction materials mixed in making the space unusable. In the end, we decided to move forward with a full drainage solution, grading along both sides of the house a paved back patio and stairs up to the backyard. We had a great experience with the folks at Stone Forest, where Navid sent us to pick out our materials. Once our project started, the workers from Outdoor Makeover were extremely respectful and did a great job. They worked very efficiently – they were done in 5 days! – and the work was quality. Navid stopped by the house at least once each day to check in and walk through that days’ progress and answer any questions we had, and had a final walkthrough with us at the end to make sure we were completely satisfied with the outcome. Outdoor Makeover even surprised us by placing complementary matching pavers on our front path – something we weren’t planning on tackling until phase 2! I wanted to wait to write our review until after the real test of Outdoor Makeover’s work – a big, Atlanta spring thunderstorm. Well we had one last night and looking out in the backyard and seeing our beautiful new patio and side yard NOT under water was just awesome. We are incredibly happy with the results and can’t wait to move forward with our next project. I highly recommend Navid and the entire Outdoor Makeover team.

While the work itself was of the highest caliber, it was Navid's ability to conceptualize how to best allocate my landscaping budget that was most impressive. Outdoor Makeover and Construction just completed a total makeover of our front yard and some much needed improvements in the backyard. We had such an amazing experience with them. It is always a good sign when the owner of the company is intimately involved in every piece of the process. Navid, one of the owners, was our contact for the entire project. It was easy to schedule our consultation. Navid worked with our schedule and spent hours with us talking about our goals. He then took some time in the yard and designed a plan that we reviewed and tweaked right there. Sometimes creative types are difficult to work with if you want to change their vision. Navid listened to our concerns and made changes to the plan that addressed our concerns while maintaining the overall vision for the project. As soon as we made the decision to move forward, Navid took his time explaining the whole process and timing to us. The company was able to squeeze us in just a few weeks later. The project took less than 4 days and went incredibly smoothly. The team sent by Outdoor Makeover and Construction was well staffed, polite, friendly, courteous, hard working and efficient. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. Matthew, the project manager, was easy to talk to and had some great ideas that helped to enhance Navid's original design. Navid visited a number of times to oversee the work. There were a few unexpected items that came up during the project (as there always are) and they were handled well. Navid explained the issue and resulting cost. He worked with us on cost of those items and even ate the cost of quite a few things that came up. When the project was finished, the team cleaned up our yard, pressure washed our patio, driveway and walkway and even pressure washed the cul de sac. You can tell if someone is sincere when they tell you they want you to be 100% happy and Navid was absolutely sincere. This process went so much smoother than I ever imagined that it could. I do not take recommendations lightly because it is putting my reputation on the line. This was our second project with Outdoor Makeover in the past 18 months. This time, we asked OM to help transform our backyard which was impacted by a Georgia Power right-of-way project. OM built a new privacy fence, removed tons of persistent ivy, strategically planted new trees and shrubs, installed accent lighting at the base of designated trees and finally manicured the entire area with pine straw. It looks great.

I am the Treasurer of a homeowners association and this project was outstanding for more than a year trying to decide what to do with a strip of common property where the current landscaping was diseased and dying. Navid and team did a great job on a complete re-do of our front and back yard. I met with several companies and from the initial meeting with Navid I knew I wanted to go with Outdoor Makeover. I wanted a full-scale renovation of my front yard, which included addressing drainage concerns, complete removal of the ivy, grading and sodding the top portion of the yard, terracing the remainder of the yard which is located on a steep hill, and beautification. I was truly in need of an “Outdoor Makeover.” Two words describe my experience with Outdoor Makeover & Construction: absolute perfection. When I first met with Navid (the owner) during my initial landscaping appointment, I was immediately impressed with his professionalism. Navid is very warm and friendly; he took the time to get to know me as a person and treated me like an old friend (not just a client), which made me feel special. He listened to my thoughts and made it his priority to incorporate them into the landscape design. Navid has an amazing eye for design. He took my ideas and expanded upon them to create a landscaping masterpiece. We want to thank Outdoor Makeover and Construction for their excellent work. We were having issues with an area of our backyard that had been ‘fixed’ twice in the last 5 years by other contractors. After meeting with Navid (owner of Outdoor Makeover), we felt that he was the one for the job. Navid met with us a few times to make sure all of our concerns were addressed. He offered some unique design ideas that other companies we met with didn’t. He also made sure to listen to all of our ‘wouldn’t it be nice’ ideas too. He incorporated as many of those into our plan as he could. The two things that most impressed us about working with Navid and his team were when issues came up (which explained why the 2 previous ‘fixes’ didn’t work), Navid explained the problem, how he was going to address it, and fixed it the right way. While they weren’t the cheapest quote we had received, we do believe that you get what you pay for. Navid and his team fixed the issues the right way, didn’t hide anything from us, and made sure that we were as involved as we wanted to be every step of the way. The other thing that impressed us was Navid’s attempt to offset the problems which we encountered (with the jobsite) by not only being creative with his solutions, but by turning those solutions into subtle ‘no cost’ upgrades to the project. It really helped when looking at the entire project and the overall cost. We are thrilled with the outcome and with our overall experience with Outdoor Makeover, Navid (the owner), and his entire crew. Truly a pleasure!!

Navid and his team did an excellent job with our backyard. What was once a landscape of roots, old pine straw and seemingly every mosquito in the city became a clean, beautiful backyard for our family. Navid took my vision for the space and brought numerous additional ideas for us. We leveled the yard, put down play safe mulch for our play set and also put in a small patio with a fire pit. My favorite aspect was the large garden bed they worked into the landscape to give me the room I wanted for gardening without making it too obtrusive to the overall aesthetic of the yard. He sketched out our options prior to the work and I was very pleased with how fast they worked once the crew arrived. The backyard was transformed in 3.5 days. The crew was very nice and went out of their way to create a great yard, even fixing some minor repairs we needed on the house while they were here! A few unexpected issues were handled efficiently and we were in constant communication to keep the process moving. Highly recommend.

Navid and the team at Outdoor Makeover & Construction recently updated on our Patio and created a new fire pit in our backyard utilizing pavers and stacked stone. Outdoor Makeover's customer service in addition to the finished work was fantastic. Navid created a vision and tailored a design that was custom to us and our needs, including the lighting which beautifully accented some of the larger tress in our backyard. I could not have been happier with the finished project driven by The Outdoor Makeover team's attention to detail. Navid's hands on approach and frequent touch points kept us up to date on project status, which made for a low stress experience. Navid's team did an efficient and amazing job with both our front and back yards! We can see why they have many incredible reviews, and we are glad to add ours to the list! We had some interior renovations done by a different vendor last year and they completed the job 3 months behind schedule. So we thought that the landscaping project was going to take months. However, we were pleasantly surprised that the amazing transformation only took 7 days (and that's with Memorial day weekend in the middle)! They graded both the front and the backyard to resolve longstanding drainage issues, replaced a rotten railroad tie retaining wall with a beautiful and lasting Belgard wall, installed a sprinkler system, sodded the backyard and seeded the front yard. All of this in 7 days! Beyond the actual work, working with Navid involved a mental state change for us. Navid is committed to excellence. He scrutinizes his own work and requires that even small imperfections are fixed – even when we wouldn’t have noticed. He came to our house every day during the project to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Importantly for us, since we are not well educated on yard design, Navid gave us constant input on what would look good and what wouldn’t. His choices and sense of style are doubtlessly much better than ours. This is particularly true for the retaining wall. We initially wanted a straight wall, but Navid insisted a curved wall would look much better. He was absolutely right – the final product is gorgeous. The vendors he works with and his crew were professional, friendly and did an excellent job. The renovation process was an outstanding whirlwind of transformation. The last thing we will mention is Navid's prompt response to issues as they came up after the job is complete. After the first few weeks of sod growth, we noticed a large amount of nutsedge growing in the back yard. We sent Navid a few pictures of the yard and within a couple of hours he called and we came up with an action plan to fix the problem. We have had to wait to make certain the sod is well-rooted before starting treatment for the nutsedge. Treatments will start in the next 1-2 weeks, and we will update the review when the issue is resolved! Overall, we cannot recommend Navid's team enough and we believe everyone will be pleasantly surprised at the transformation his team will bring to your outdoor projects.

We just completed our Outdoor Makeover this past weekend and could not be happier! From beginning to end they were amazing to work with. At our first consultation Navid spent 4 hours with my husband and I, going over every detail of the project with a fine-toothed comb to ensure that he understood our wishes. Navid is professional, experienced, and truly genius when it comes to creating a space that works for your family and looks beautiful! During the time after our consult but before the project began he continued to communicate with us frequently regarding schedule, picking out stone, etc. Navid routinely sent us texts and encouraged them from us, which is the way we most efficiently communicate so my husband and I both loved how accessible he makes himself to his clients. The project began on time, and even with a few additional tasks added than originally planned, the project was still completed in a timely manner. During the project they were here everyday, sometimes with 17 guys, doing whatever it took to get the job done. Navid was at our site every day to ensure that things were running smoothly, to make sure there were no issues or concerns, and to make sure the project completion was on schedule. After starting the project Navid and his crew determined that we had the wrong type of drainage system in place, which was causing our yard to remain wet most of the time. They immediately approached us when they discovered the problem and came up with a great solution that we all agreed would be better for us (and our yard) in the long run. Not that I ever doubted them, but I was so encouraged to see the crew work with such precision as they went from task to task. I have had work done in the past by other companies that had been done very sloppily, and this company strives for way above that and they hold true to their standards of excellence. Each crewmember that I spoke to was polite and respectful of our home and property. Even during clean up they not only sprayed down the windows, but also tediously wiped dry by hand to remove all water spots from the glass. It is details like this that place them at a level above the rest. We are thrilled to have such a beautiful backyard now and look forward to spending lots of time outside!!

Navid saw the potential in my side yard next to my kitchen and designed a private oasis with an outside patio perfect for casual dining and coffee. the place had become muddy and overgrown and he saw the treasure in the old trees and azaleas and they were all made a part of the new plan. His team was courteous, on time and kept the jobsite clean. They also offered to help me with extra tree trimming, too. I will definitely hire Outdoor Makeover for the next phases of my renovation.

This is a rare type of review... because it's as much about the excellent and talented work Navid provided to us as well as his extraordinary response when things didn't go as planned. At every stage of the process Navid went above and beyond to ensure that we walked away satisfied. After several days of grueling work spent bringing Navid's vision for our backyard space to life the work was done! Navid had been on point with punctuality and responsiveness. Our backyard was beautiful and everything I had hoped it to be from the drawings and description preceding! Clearly Navid is a very talented and knowledgeable landscaping professional. The dry creek riverbed flowed organically through the space, the stones were set, the colors were great and Navid had even transplanted a tree and added a stepping bridge as a bonus! I felt like it was money well spent towards improving our property value as well as protecting it against a water runoff from our neighbors (we are located at the bottom of a grade). Fast forward a week or so and after torrential downpours our entire backyard had flooded with neighboring debris and water. The icing on the cake was the 4' of water in our basement. I called Navid up asking him about his thoughts regarding the just finished landscaping possibly contributing to the water situation and feeling pretty bummed that I had just spent a lot of money to attempt to mitigate the very situation that had just occurred. The first words from Navid after I explained the situation and my concerns were "I've got your back." I think I almost cried... Navid came out to our property immediately and together we were able to figure out the water backup was due to a clogged city water drain and that all of the efforts that had already been put into landscaping had likelyhelped the situation from being much worse! I was so blown away that Navid immediately jumped into the fray with me to identify the problem that we were facing and help me come up with ways to fix it even though it was not his responsibility to do so as it wasn't a result of his work. Furthermore, after the water receded and we got everything under control Navid going above and beyond sent out his crew to individually take out, pressure wash and reset every individual stone in the dry creek bed that had been impacted with sludge and mud from the flooding. You don't find many individuals like Navid. And if you find yourself lucky enough to do business with him know that you are in exceptional hands.

Mission Accomplished! Our Landscape Needs: We had to replace 2 trees that had died in our front yard (as required by homeowners association) We had developed major erosion issues We had builder grade overgrown 15 year old landscaping that needed to be updated Our Landscape Contractor Search: We searched high & low, far & wide, and we talked to about 5 different landscape contractors. Our #1 concern was making sure that any drainage issues that we tried to resolve would not cause a greater problem, so it was important that we hired someone with extensive knowledge of drainage and erosion control. We paid for a full yard design with one company, and although the design was good and met my requirements, it just didn't seem to have the flow or quality that we wanted. Hiring Outdoor Makeover: When we contacted Outdoor Makeover and talked to Navid, it became clear during the design process that he kept our yard priorities front and center. Navid put together a complete hand-drawn yard design for us, and we are so glad we went thru that process. This made the installation process go quite smoothly! After we hired Navid, we continued to walk the property to make sure that we were on the same page about the changes that would take place. During this process, he located a drainage issue that we had not noticed before where water was running off of our driveway toward the front steps. We hired a company to secure the steps, and Navid altered our drainage design to make sure this would not be a problem again. This is the attention to details that Navid and his team have demonstrated for us throughout this process! In addition, Navid invited us to go out to the stone yard to pick out the new stones and pavers that would be placed in our yard. This was a fun process and helped ease our mind knowing that what we were purchasing was exactly what we wanted! Installation: Navid promised that the job would take 2 days, and it did. His crew was EXTREMELY good at their job! They were highly skilled, neat, and made sure that any major decisions were consulted with us before proceeding. This level of detail helped us know that when the job was completed that we would be happy with the end result. Navid walked the property with us many times during the install and consulted us on details to make sure that a rock or a plant or a bed was outlined just the way we envisioned. Any feedback that we gave him, he considered and was able to work with us to make sure we were 100% satisfied. Completion: When the job was complete, it was exactly a beautiful outdoor makeover to be proud of! I consider myself a picky person that often envisions something not easily captured, so I usually end up with finished products that are close to what I expected, but something is off or not quite right. I can HONESTLY say that every feature of our lovely new front yard is EXACTLY how I wanted it to be. HIRE Outdoor Makeover! You won't be sorry!

Navid designed a beautiful patio with pavers and concrete slabs integrated seamlessly with design appeal. He also added a retaining wall and a lattice wall to create some privacy with our neighbors next door. He was able to make a very large outdoor surface and graded it perfectly into the rest of our yard. We were very pleased with Navid's design decisions and project management. His team came in with all supplies and equipment on the first day and had everything demoed and ready to go within the first few hours. They had everything completed within 5 days. His team worked late hours as needed to complete the project in a timely manner and even worked in between rain showers on 2 of the days. They were friendly and very respectful. Exceeding expectations - the Outdoor Makeover way Our goal was to build a stacked stone wall on the backside of our house. After initial consultations with several companies, we were confident Outdoor Makeover was the right choice. What really distinguished and validated OM as absolutely the right choice was what subsequently transpired. First of all, our initial impression of Navid was very positive. Courteous, thoughtful and very considerate in all respects, Navid brought top shelf professionalism and amazing creativity to our project. Our newly created partnership enabled the project to run very efficiently with frequent touchpoints which ensured Outdoor Makeover not only met, but exceeded our expectations. The OM crew was simply amazing: diligent, persistent, creative, conscientious, and always respectful of our home. Clearly there is an exemplary work ethic instilled in the OM model. So, how do you know when it was a good project? For us, it was the “Wow” factor. Very simply put, this project transformed our home and our property. What previously was somewhat of an eyesore is now a stunningly beautiful focal point. Outdoor Makeover was an absolute win for us. We searched reviews for numerous companies, and though we found it hard to believe the huge number of positive reviews, we scheduled a meeting with Navid. From our first meeting, we knew we had made the right choice. We sat and talked with Navid and explained our vision for the yard and the “feel” we wanted it to have – and he delivered. He worked within our budget and even added in some extras – we got more than we had hoped for! His crew was fantastic, in and out in two days, and they were a delight to work with. We’ve already passed his name along to many of our friends, and we know they’ll be as pleased as we are.

The work is well done, the design is pleasing and Navid has a great eye for detail. Phase one was completed when I was told it would be and I look forward to the next phase.

Outdoor Makeover did work for us 4 years ago. Specifically they rebuilt a large (for our backyard) water feature that had been an ongoing problem. They also finished off some other areas with stone accents. The work looks as good today as it did then. Navid, one of the partners was on another job in our neighborhood and he stopped over to say "hi" and check on us. As it happened, we were in the process of contracting to have a tree near our front door removed. We also, knew that our front steps (brick) and walk needed to be replaced. Navid suggested some wonderful solutions for us that made sense and so we hired him on the spot and they started work immediately. Ultimately, they removed the tree and stump, planted two new ones completely replaced our front steps and walkway and patched up the landscaping where the work was done. Some of the highlights of the job were: - I had been told by another contractor (specialist) that the best solution was to cut the tree down to the ground and not try to get a stump remover in there. Outddoor Makeover removed the stump by hand - We wanted flagstone steps to match a retaining wall that we have in our front yard. Navid sent me photos of the stone he was looking at and then sent a pallet of each of the two top choices so that I could choose live - the other one went back. - As was our experience in the past, we were frequently solicited for feedback,satisfaction and concerns. It is also clear that there is a good rapport between management and the workers. That rapport, no doubt, leads to quality work.

To say I am pleased with Outdoor Makeovers would be an understatement. The work they did was phenomenal and wound up taking my backyard from an eye-sore to a place I now enjoy spending time in. I work in the customer experience field and also write articles on best practices for delighting customers. In short, I know the difference between "good" service and extraordinary service, as it's my job to be able to distinguish the two. Outdoor Makeovers delivers a superstar customer experience. Navid and his team at Outdoor Makeovers made sure they not only met, but exceed my expectations on this job. in addition to what I contracted with them for, they built another river rock drainage area that I hadn't even contracted for--at no charge. Who does this? It's one thing to do what a company is contracted to do and do it well, but they went beyond even that. I also needed some extra pine straw to make the yard look right. Navid sent someone within two hours to add the extra pine straw and it looked great. The quality of work, demeanor and timeliness of their employees was exceptional. The yard not only looks great, it's now functional and I no longer have to worry about my home's foundation. When they were done, I couldn't even tell they'd been there or just completed a large-scale project, they had cleaned up so well. I'd like to also add that while they may not be the least expensive option, they also weren't the highest, either. The final product they delivered far exceeded that of other quotes and wound up being the best overall value by far. In short, based on this job, I would never even consider using anyone else.

Navid and his team at Outdoor Makeover go above and beyond the client’s expectations during the entire landscaping process. Navid’s knowledge of design, hardscape, and irrigation puts him at the head of the pack. We recently hired Outdoor Makeover to design and construct an outdoor paver patio, which included a custom-made gas line fire pit. Navid was with us every step of the way always showing up on time and checking in throughout the day to make sure everything was up to our expectations. He really listened to our likes and dislikes and was able to help us create a design that was exactly what we were looking for. The project involved some major rock issues that were not anticipated. The team had to bring in extra equipment to navigate through the rock that added two additional days to the project. This was fine with me, but it cost Navid extra time and money. The crew arrived every day on time and stayed after hours several days, sometimes until after dark, in order to “get the job done right”. Navid never complained once because he wanted to make sure everything was installed correctly. He did not charge me a penny over the agreed contract. The quality I appreciate most about Outdoor Makeover is that they really listen to what the customer is trying to accomplish. They will give their advice and recommendations, but ultimately it is all about what the customer wants. Navid also treated us like we were his only or most important client which was especially appreciative once we learned he was involved in several projects that were 10x the scale of our project. He never once made us feel like our job was not important. I am very happy that we chose Outdoor Makeover to design and install our outdoor living space. We do and will continue to recommend Outdoor Makeover for any type of landscape/design project. From start to finish, they made us feel comfortable knowing that we put our trust in them. Outdoor Makeover is a company you can trust in transforming your yard into a beautiful landscape. We had two landscape contractors worked on our front yard to fix the shaded areas in the past 8 years. However, none of them worked well. Sod placed in the shaded areas all died. We’d been searching for a good landscape company for quite a while and we wanted to make sure that a contractor we were going to hire will fix this problem permanently. We searched the Internet and found Navid and his team. To our surprise we’ve never seen a landscape company like Outdoor Makeover with so many and such high satisfaction ratings. We figured that we can’t go wrong by choosing this company. It’s been proved that we made a right decision. Navid is thorough, professional, creative and patient. He pays a lot of attention to details. The initial consultation or design session with him made me believe that he is a talented landscape designer with artist eyes and mind. He thinks out of box and provided approach that is out of ordinary. He suggested to turn the shaded area into a beautiful garden with stone steps and many gorgeous plants. He was very reliable and did a great job in communication with us. He always listened to our concerns/suggestions and willing to adjust the details during the project. We had very pleasant experience working with him. Moreover, he went above and beyond. He even replaced an old downspout with drain pipe and water grate. I was expecting a bill for this but he was kind enough to throw this in for free as a token of appreciation for our business. He also transplanted a lot of plants and a big maple tree to the backyard. During the project, he found a potential serious problem with drainage in the corner of our house and suggested to place a long water pipe and grate. He tried very hard to leave everything perfect. It is also worth to mention that his crew were very friendly, hardworking, and skilled. They completed work in a timely fashion and did an amazing job. They even pressure washed my driveway after they finished. We are very happy with the job they’ve done and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

When we first reached out to Outdoor Makeover, our home was in bad shape. We had found a previous contractor on Angie's List who had completed only a portion of the work they had promised on our project and left our house in shambles. One of the areas in most extreme disrepair was a below grade storage area. Every time it would rain, water would pour in excess into the space leaving it wet, muddy and full of mold and mildew. After firing our worthless, no-good, thief of a contractor, we searched for weeks in an effort to find the right landscape / hardscape company to complete the job. Sounds like an easy task, but after receiving visits from several contractors, we still were not satisfied not only with the options presented, but with the time frames that we were being provided; being in the heart of the renovation season, landscape companies all seemed to be booked and were not sensitive to the urgency of our project. Enter Navid and the Outdoor Makeover team. Upon calling and providing a description of our challenges, Navid was at our house within 24 hours despite his extremely busy schedule. As a matter of fact, he offered to come during evening hours making it convenient for us while extending his workday well past 9 pm. After surveying the site, Navid provided his expert opinion and knew exactly how to address the issue by extending a retention wall and installing a drainage system to properly divert water away from the house. In addition, he had the aesthetic vision, sketched up the solution, and provided a firm timeline of when he and his crew could perform the work (within days despite a full workload he already had). Ultimately, before Navid left my house that evening I had a firm scope and estimate in my hands and full confidence that Outdoor Makeover was the right company to perform the job. Work commenced exactly on schedule and the labor crew conducted themselves extremely professionally, from a technical perspective as well as excellent customer service. They maintained a clean work space and performed extremely efficiently. These guys knew exactly what they were doing. Part of this can be attributed to them being highly skilled, but they also had on site direction provided by Navid who was sure to be there to manage the efforts and ensure that the project was going smoothly. In addition to the agreed upon scope, they even trenched an additional drainage line free of charge. I won't say that Outdoor Makeover was the least expensive solution, but they certainly brought the greatest value to the project. Anything less would have been insufficient. The solution has performed flawlessly and we have had no water penetration at all. Outdoor Makeover certainly exceeded all expectations on our drainage and retention wall project and I would highly recommend them to anybody requiring landscape or hardscape services.

After 10 years of living in a house with an un-usable back yard due to drainage issues, we reached out to a competing landscaping company to have our back yard completely redone. Tens of thousands of dollars later, the back yard looked good, but the drainage issues were even worse than before. The landscaper tried several things, and eventually gave up, demanding several more thousands of dollars to fix the problems. Enter Navid and his team. We were trying to sell our house, and the buyers demanded we fix the drainage problems—and do so a week before the closing date. We called Navid and The Outdoor Makeover Team with just 2 weeks to spare before the deadline. Navid himself came out at 10:00pm that very night to walk the site, bounce some ideas off my wife and me, and took lots of notes and pictures. After consulting with his team of “hydro experts”, he promptly two nights later to sit at our kitchen table and walk through the design. I appreciated his approach to “doing it right so it won’t be a problem now or years from now.” The design included a series of branching French drains, shifting existing drains to the correct areas, and re-sloping much of our back yard so that it properly drained into the existing rock swale. His team showed up just two days later and got to work. Since their effort needed to be targeted to only certain areas of the yard, they were very careful to protect the other areas of the yard they needed to cross—opting for the much more labor intensive manual digging and trenching for the most part rather than going to easier (and more destructive) route of a ditch witch or skid steer. Navid was there inspecting all the work, and in several areas demanding his team go back and re-do a sewage line, shift a drain line a few inches, or re-lay sod and pine straw. When he showed up on the last day to perform his final inspection, he saw me pulling up an old drain line that had been crushed years prior and was nowhere near the area his team was working. He insisted I stop, and asked his team to come in and finish up, replacing the line and covering it again free of charge. When he underestimated the amount of sod required to replace the area of poor drainage, he threw in another half pallet—again, free of charge. In short, Outdoor Makeovers was the best landscaping firm I’ve ever worked with, and one of the best contractors I’ve ever allowed in my home. Navid was in constant communication, came to our home at all hours of the night to accommodate our busy schedules, did exactly what he said he would do, and did it in a timeframe that my wife and I feared was impossible. The result is a back yard that finally drains properly—even after the torrential downpours recently, the new homeowners say the yard is clean and dry. Too bad we’re not there to enjoy it! But the good news is we’ve found a landscaping firm for life, and I’ve already begun imagining what Outdoor Makeovers will do at our new home. Thanks, Navid!

My interaction were with Navid. I hired Outdoor to fix some items I had another landscape company do. The other guy walked away from his warranty and left me high and dry. Outdoor Makeover reinstalled about 100' of a dry creek bed, installed drain basins, graded yard for proper drainage, installed a Belgard paver landing at base of steps and replaced a very ugly broken flagstone the other contractor used for a capstone on my natural gas fire pit. Navid was very punctual, professional and competent. He listened to my concerns thoroughly and was clearly focused more on fixing the job than bantering about price, or scope of work. It has since rained and I have had no problems to date with water flow. Manuel, the crew supervisor, was also very engaged and radiated competence throughout the project. The crew from Outdoor Makeover completed the repairs in 2 full days. It was quite a sight to see a crew of 8-10 guys descend upon my little project and knock it out as if I had spent $40K with them. I will definitely be recommending and using Navid and his team at Outdoor Make over in the future!

Naveed and the team at Outdoor Makeover truly gave our backyard a much needed makeover! We were pleased with the quality of work, and personal attention and regular communication we received from Naveed every step of the process. We've worked with designer/contractors on other home renovation projects and this was by far the best experience we've had. It was good to see the same work crews at our home each day, and at the end of nearly every work day Naveed did a personal walk through of the project with us to ensure we were happy with the work and discussed any issues that might arise and plan for the next day. Don't settle for less than the best...these guys take pride in their work, and it shows! We feel like we added a room to our house and have been enjoying our new gas fire pit and landscaping nearly every night this spring!

The entire experience of redoing my yard and building my new porch has been a tremendous experience. Navid led up a project to redo the entire front yard, which included leveling the land, taking out and installing a pathway and redoing the front stoop. Omid created a whole new back porch. The initial meeting was fun and enlightening. My fears that we could not create something wonderful had disappeared. Each time I worked with Navid and Omid it was a simple and easy flowing collaboration. Both times that they had crews at my home, everyone was professional and you could tell committed to doing a superior job. Each and every aspect of the job exceeded my expectations. There was never a time where I felt pressured to spend more money. In fact I felt just the opposite. They added extra plants, rocks, and lights. They included the details on the porch that took its appearance to the next level. Throughout the process both Navid and Omid were always there. Each day of the project they were there, personally guiding the work and making adjustments when needed. It was so great to having them there. I have and will continue to recommend Outdoor Makeover again and again. We are starting another project together this spring.

As I searched for a landscaper I found Outdoor Makeover and its 5 star ratings. It was hard to believe that a landscaper was that good but now I can understand why customers rated them so high. Navid and his team designed and installed what is now the envy of my neighbors, a beautiful makeover to a yard that was lacking in so many ways. I read about the "extras" that people talked about from their jobs and mine was no exception. Navid went above and beyond with turning the design into a reality without nickle and diming us along the way. The price he quoted was the price we paid and the results are amazing. I cannot fail to mention the second half of the dynamic duo which is Navid's brother Omid. Omid and his talented team built us a new deck that integrates seamlessly into the new landscape. You can't go wrong by choosing this team of talented brothers to realize your dreams of a perfect landscape.

We had a drainage issue where water was going into our pool, and causing a lot of problems. At the same time we got hit by lighting where many of our outdoor systems, such as irrigation, lighting and pool equipment were adversely affected. We researched many companies and the deeper we looked, the more impressed we became with Outdoor Makeover. We scheduled an appointment with them, which was a very easy process, and Navid, the owner came out. Once he saw the problem, he was able to come up with a few different sceneiros and ran the options by us. Together we collaborated on what we liked and he continually perfected the design and helped us find all the hidden potentials in our property. The price was very competive and we had a good experience. When the work started, everything went smooth, the crew was very professional, and outfitted well with uniforms. Navid, the owner continually checked the quality of the work, and addressed what was not to his standard. Throughout the process, Navid and I did walk-throughs and I received excellent communication from them. They cleaned up well after the job, and the final design truly complemented the existing design of the backyard.

I was in a bind and Navid at Outdoor Makeover really helped me out. We had ongoing drainage issues in our back yard and despite having hired someone a few years ago, we still had problems. When I was asked to relocate as quickly as possible, I needed the drainage problem fixed and fast to enhance the home's appeal. After reading the spectacular reviews on Houzze, I contacted Navid and explained the situation. Despite being summer and peak demand season for him, he agreed to help out. He came and visited one evening and sketched out an idea. It was quite a bit higher cost than I expected so we reduced the scope. Two days later we decided we needed to reduce the scope further - to just a dry creek bed and some mulch in muddy areas - and Navid worked with us to do just that and I agreed to pay him enough to ensure he made money on the job. The dry creek bed looks fantastic and it works, so the drainage issue is solved. We re-seeded the areas Navid had suggested sodding (but was de-scoped) and the grass took, so now the backyard looks fabulous. Feedback from prospective buyers has sometimes mentioned the backyard looks fantastic so many thanks to Navid for helping us transform a mud-pit on half the yard into something aesthetically pleasing and yet functional.

We selected Outdoor Makeover to re-landscape our backyard and we were very, very pleased with their work. During the selection process, they were responsive, never missed an appointment, and met with us on our schedule. They were price competitive, eager to earn our business, and went over-board to ensure that they were meeting our design goals. The project included the removal of mature trees and the complete redesign of our yard. They were thoughtful in the design process, taking into account cost, aesthetics, growth rates, privacy, and the overall feel. They presented more alternatives than the other vendors that we investigated, and were more flexible in their approach. They worked around our complicated schedule for the implementation, starting the project exactly on-time and completing the project exactly as planned. They introduced each member of their installation crew before they started the work, and the team was professional, hardworking, and respectful of our home. Each day, they cleaned up the site and left it in presentable condition overnight. Throughout the installation process, Navid was involved to ensure everything was going smoothly. In the end, we got exactly what we asked for, and the experience was positive.

We hired Navid and his team to help us with phase 1 of our backyard renovation. Navid provided expert advice and vision to the project and helped us “see” things that really enhanced what we wanted. Navid was professional, personable, and patient with us. When we scheduled the project start date, I assumed that date would be moved with excuses, based on previous experiences with contractors. Navid and his team started and completed the job as planned. They were very thorough and answered all our questions along the way. Navid went out of his way to not only make sure we were happy but to take care of the details of the project. When they were done, the cleanup was impressive; it was like a crew was never there. We are very pleased with what Outdoor Makeover did for our backyard within our budget; we’re excited to begin planning the next phase!

I purchased a new construction and moved in in April. As with new constructions, the backyards are just a slab of concrete and if you're lucky, living grass. Well, that's what I had, except for the living grass. I saw an ad for Outdoor Makeover in the May Angie's List booklet and thought, why not? They were an award winner for the past few years. I made an appointment for a consultation and even that exceeded my expectations. Naveed spend over 3 hours with me at this first consultation. We talked budget, layout, etc. and we threw some ideas out, thought of new ones, he listened to me and incorporated some of my ideas. It was great. Now, he told me he wouldn't be able to get to me for maybe a month, which was fine. However, he ended up being able to start early which was terrific. We met once more to go over the plan and again spend 3 hours revising and refining the plan. I really did get my consultation fee's worth. Overall,I believe the project was no more than 7 day but with many rain delays, it was spread out for a couple of weeks. The workers were great. Really liked their professionalism and dedication. I am one that really likes open lines of communication and Naveed was agreeable to that, he kept me in the loop every step of the way. We spoke nightly during the project. While my yard was a complete overhaul, some things still came up that weren't anticipated. Depending upon what the issue was, Naveed either threw in the solution for free (grading and soil for the area of the yard that would be sodded, down-spout extenders, extra mulch, and several other items) or worked with me on obtaining the most economical alternative. It was a pleasure to work with Naveed and his crew. They listened and when I said I wanted a pergola with an outdoor ceiling fan, or brown mulch instead of black, that's what I got. If there were some items that I asked for that just weren't doable, Naveed would explain to me why. He worked with me on acquiring items, like the pots for my water feature. It was great. I even gave him the go ahead to just design the fire-pit as he saw fit. I really do enjoy the finished product. It looks professional (the patterns used with the pavers is terrific), and just very well done. I've gotten lots of compliments. I've already spoken about additional work that I would like them to do next spring. I also had the pleasure of meeting the entire family. I highly recommend Naveed and crew for landscaping and lighting related jobs. They had the expert electrician, gas person and plumber to handle my entire job. For me this was a major renovation and I was very nervous as I was expending a great deal of money. But boy, was it worth it!

Outdoor Makeover had a great reputation and they lived up to it. We wanted to create a space with combined contemporary and Japanese styles and, while it seemed a little outside of their comfort zone at first, they adapted quickly and gave us what we wanted, which included a paver patio design with grass cut-outs, water feature and an asian-themed cedar hammock structure. The owner, Navid, was hands on with every aspect of the project from design all the way through installation and quality assurance. Our construction was a little complicated (very steep yard) and the project manager (Joe) and his crew worked through all logistics to complete the project within one week, which was impressive. The whole team was very hard-working and respectful and they made sure we were happy with the final product (and we were). We highly recommend Outdoor Makeover.

Navid and his crew were outstanding! Outdoor Makeover completely transformed the outside of our house! When we moved in everything was very overgrown. You couldn't even see our house from the street! Navid came in and redesigned both our front and backyard! The backyard was very heavily planted and we needed more grass for our kids and dog to play on. They removed 5 trees and pulled all the bushes out. They regraded the ground and laid sod. Navid then artfully re-placed many of the plants we already had in new places so we could reuse them. This saved us a lot of money. The backyard looks completely different from what it did before! We now have tons of grass and a very clean, manicured look, which is exactly what we wanted! The front yard is quite large and there were humungous bushes and trees that were simply planted in the wrong places. Navid ripped everything out and started fresh - moving some trees, reusing bushes, and also planting new plants in places that compliment the house, instead of covering it up! The crew Navid uses are friendly, personable, clean, respectful, and professional. Navid was on sight quite often, but when he wasn't, I felt completely comfortable asking any of the guys a question. The work took longer than originally anticiatoed, but they worked long hours every day and stayed until it was completed. Many other companies would have moved on to another job without finishing, but that is NOT how Navid works! Outdoor Makeover also installed outdoor lighting and fixed our irrigation to work with the new landscaping. Irrgiation can be tricky, but they did a great job, and the lighting is really the icing on the cake for the landcapring! It is an art and Navid knows what he is doing to make all the focal points really stand out and be highlighted by the lighting! When they finished the project, they cleaned everything! Pressure washed the back deck, stepping stones, front walkway, driveway, AND the street so our neighbors didn't hate us! :-) As with all landscaping projects there have had to be a few minor tweaks since they left, but as soon as we called Navid either he or one of his guys were here within the day to take care of it! I have never had a company that did work for us be so responsive AFTER all the work was already completed! I cannot recommend Outdoor Makeover enough! The landscaping, lighting, and irrigation are all exactly what we envisioned and more!

My experience with Outdoor Makeover has been nothing but positive. It started with a thorough walk-through of our back and front yard with Navid, the company co-founder. He listened really well to my concerns and ideas. My husband wasn't able to attend this initial meeting so Navid generously came back on a Sunday afternoon to finish our meeting by talking with my husband and myself and drawing up plans for the yard as well as giving us a detailed estimate. Once the project started, I was impressed by the organized workforce that showed up at our home. Navid came out each morning to go over the day's work with his guys. Sometimes if he didn't like the way something was done the day before, he'd immediately have his guys adjust or completely re-do it so it was up to par with his vision and what we had discussed. If Navid saw something that needed doing, even if not mentioned in original estimate, - he went ahead and took care of it (cleaned up some trees/bushes when he saw they needed attention, grabbed the pole saw himself and trimmed branches while his guys laid mulch). He was very communicative, I knew I could text him at any point during the day and he'd get back to me if I were concerned about something. The overall work by Outdoor Makeover was excellent and they got an amazing amount done in a weeks time: put in a dry creek bed, built massive stone steps, put in 4 trees and multiple plants, built an extensive retaining wall, laid weed fabric and put out bags upon bags of mulch, took out big tree in the back, built 2 walkways, cleaned out/took out big ugly shrubs around the house, extended/repaired 2 drainage pipes, plus a lot more. All in about 4 1/2 days! Beyond the sheer amount of work completed, the project itself was beautifully executed, the crew kind and VERY hard workers and Navid was a pleasure. I'd do business again with them anytime (and probably will soon) and I highly recommend them for you as well.

After much online research, my wife and I chose Outdoor Makeover to do some extensive landscaping of our front yard and one side yard. The results are wonderful, and our opinion has been reinforced by a large group of our surrounding neighbors’ glowing compliments. Our wonderful new look—including rocks large and small, retaining wall, some resodding, new plants and a tree, small circular sidewalk, a new walkway, and a herb garden—was attained by the core of what makes a landscape professional truly outstanding: experience and honed expertise, design creativity, attention to detail, flexibility geared to our wishes and checking account, a solid team of equally capable workers, and the ability to produce results at the highest level on budget and on time. We recommend without reservation Navid and all of the others at Outdoor Makeover who were involved in giving us a new and lovely yard.

We hired Outdoor Makeover to solve some drainage issues and give our backyard and overall spruce-up. We achieved all that and more! Navid had creative solutions and great vision for our space. A Refreshingly Creative and Professional Landscape Design Company! We hired Navid and the Outdoor Makeover team after several months of searching for someone to re-do our backyard. My wife and I did not have a vision for the yard - we just knew it was awful and had to change. After interviewing and getting quotes from several landscaping companies that were late, rude, and/or without any creativity or vision - we finally found Outdoor Makeover. The difference in the experience was obvious right from the beginning. Navid spent hours with us sketching out what he saw as the vision for the yard after listening to our needs - including retaining wall, fire pit, extended patio, garden with walkway, lighting, etc. On top of that, he spent a couple hours helping us select exactly the plants that fit our specific needs - such as growing in shade, ground/hill cover, and climbing vines. We hired Outdoor Makeover to clean up our yard, put up a fence, and to prepare an area of the yard for a play set. My initial meeting with Navid included explaining what I wanted done and my budget. We walked the property and talked about what I wanted done. Navid then provided an estimate on everything. Even though some of it was out of my budget he worked with me to come up with a plan of what I could do within my budget and suggestions that would be less expensive than what I had initially thought I wanted.. There was no pressure from him to spend more than what was in budget. I had been told that it would be a 2 or 3 weeks before they could get started. However, they started the project earlier than expected, which was great. Navid introduced me to the crew and supervisor and the men got to work. His crew were amazing, very,polite, neat, and professional. Each day I was walked through what was done and asked if I was happy with the work, which I was. Omid and Navid and their crew went over and beyond to ensure that I was happy. I was thrilled with the little extras that also got done with this project. The crew ended up cutting down a few more small trees than expected, attached a gutter, buried some drainage pipes that had never been buried, ect. All at no additional cost. This winter I had to have two large old oaks removed from my front yard before they fell on the house. My yard was a mess. I had seen the signs for Outdoor Makeover and liked the changes they made. I called and the owner came to my house. I had some ideas but he had better ideas. That was great. Now I love the look of my ranch house. The two evergreen shrubs on each side of the driveway were just the right touch. I didn't know what I wanted but when it was completed I knew it was exactly what I had envisioned. Thank you.

We recently had our backyard made over by Outdoor Makeover and could not be happier! Navid came over on a Sunday evening to discuss ideas and within two weeks the project was underway. You can tell that Navid and his team take a lot of pride in their work. Navid was constantly checking in while the work was being done to make sure we were satisfied with the progress. He even went above and beyond our expectations. He offered us $200 worth of shrubbery that he was unable to use and planted them all at no extra cost! He removed four trees and some limbs off others, transplanted a tree and other shrubs that we already had. He also only charged us for 2 palates of sod instead of 3 b/c one of the palates was left over from a previous job (even though it was basically a full palate). My husband chose to lay the sod himself in order to save money. After the guys had finished their work, Navid offered to send his guy w/ the bobcat back to our house to rake the ground so that my husband wouldn’t have to rake it himself before laying the sod. Navid noticed a bad spot in our drive way and offered to have his guys patch it up for us with their left over concrete. He even offered to haul stuff away for us while they were there with their truck. He did all of this complimentary to us!

My experience with Outdoor Makeover was wonderful. The owner and his team members are professional, friendly, and courteous. They truly cared about us and what we wanted for the backyard renovation. We had a tight deadline but they tried their best to accommodate us by prioritizing our project and working overtime. The owner was easy to reach and willing to explain everything in detail. We have a pretty sizable yard which, over the years, has gotten out of control. We had quotes from 2 landscapers. One we received a mail advert from and then Outdoor Makeover, who we found here on Angie's List. Outdoor Makeover's owner, Navid, has a passion for creativity. He was able to envision a low-maintenance solution for us, which was absolutely what we needed. From the moment he shared his vision, we knew that the inspiration he'd bring to the job would definitely benefit the end result. Between the signing of the contract and beginning of work, we inquired a few times about changes. Navid was incredibly flexible and even encouraged us to continue to share ideas with him. Great Service - Very Professional Navid completely overhauled our front yard, which was quite a challenge due to amount of shade involved from neighboring trees. He worked with us to come up with a design that fit our budget and personal tastes. We've been very happy with the end result. Navid is very easy to work with, and his office team and ground crew work hard to get the details right. Whenever we had questions/special requests, Navid and his team were very attentive. These are definitely folks that want your business and will do what it takes to keep it. Attitude makes all the difference.

This past April Navid and his crew came out and reconstructed my backyard with a new stone deck, planted new zoysia grass and installed trees and plants. It looked awesome and they did a great job. Navid always wants to make sure you are happy with the work done and will not leave until you are a 100% satisfied. Then the rain came... first i had poor drainage and my plants were drowning so i called and he came out immediately and put in a dry creek bed at no charge which helped a lot. The rain kept coming and didn't stop for months so by October five of my nice trees had died. I was especially sad to see both my japanese maples died. I called Navid and he came out immediately and said he would change all the plants at no charge. What a relief because i was so upset that 5 had died! Navid always returns my texts and calls and is so easy to work with. Him and his brother are awesome and if you are looking to have your yard done with either landscaping or hardscape call him. Navid also went over and installed a huge waterfall feature at my neighbors house and it looks great! My neighbor is extremely happy with the work done. I am having Navid do my front yard in the next couple weeks so i will let you know how it goes. Happy landscaping!

Many can draw up a landscape plan, dig the holes and install the plants & trees but the level of service and personal attention we got from Navid was extraordinary. Not only did he spend the time necessary on the front end to guide us through the design process but he was on the job site each day making sure we were happy and the project was unfolding as we envisioned. As is the case in any sizable project unexpected obstacles arise or the homeowner has a change of plan mid-stream...he was very well equipped in expertise and temperament to call the audible and carry on. I think one of his best qualities is that he does have definite opinions and a vision for the project but still solicits the owner's opinion and will incorporate that into the plan. He's not afraid to say he disagrees but at the same time he is not afraid to agree either. It was a very collaborative effort start to finish. Ultimately the proof is in the pudding and we are extremely pleased with the final product and the way we got there. Without a doubt it was a very positive experience with Navid and his team. We will use Outdoor Makeover for our next landscape project.

Thanks to Navid and his wonderful crew we have a new beautiful remade front yard. They were a pleasure to work with and boy do they work hard! From meeting with Navid to come up with a design in our budget which he is very conscious about, to removing plants and ivy, prepping the yard for new sod, to placing all our new trees and plants in a beautiful design and clean up my husband and I are very pleased. Difficullt to get along with. Customer service is poor. Didnt consult with me on my likes or my needs, but insisted in installing what they wanted despite my protests. Prices are high. Did not follow thorugh with replacement guranatee. My yard looks better, but I will not work with this company again.

Our pipe dream was to have a big, green yard for our toddler to play in, and Outdoor Makeovers helped make it a reality. It was hard for my husband and I to see beyond our over-grown property, riddled with sink holes so we interviewed several companies to get their take. It was clear from the beginning that Outdoor Makeovers offered a very educated, and designer-ly perspective that was respectful of our family objectives, our financial situation, and our particular property. We were interested to see how one company could have such an influx of positive reviews, and wondered if we might be just a number to them; we were very pleasantly surprised to feel like we had known Navid for years and it became apparently clear that he and his team are genuinely deserving of all the hype. He spent an evening with us walking our property and brainstorming ideas and quickly formulated a plan. We were very impressed with how seamlessly he coordinated the various efforts and how quickly everything took shape...just 1 week! Each of the various crews were super friendly, timely and responsive and made a concerted effort along each step of the project to initiate dialogue about any issues we may have had (we had none, of course). In addition to the scope we agreed upon, Outdoor Makeovers went above and beyond to help us out where they could (I think they could tell how agriculturally challenged we are!) by mapping out some ideas for plantings in the future, and full instructions on how to avoid killing anything :) . Outdoor Makeover redid (regraded, re-sodded, replanted, and replaced our sprinkler system) in our 10 year old backyard. They started the job when they said and they finished on time. There was always someone onsite that could resolve any issues or make decisions. I had a few challenges with the sprinkler system that took a couple of visits to get corrected, but they kept coming and they got it resolved. The plantings and overall outcome exceeded our expectations. We highly recommended them!

If you are like me, this site is assisting you in finding a contractor for a project that intends to bring a bit more happiness to your life by improving a portion of your home or landscape. There is no doubt that you should, at the very least, allow Outdoor Makeover an opportunity to compete for your business. My Story: I purchased a house which had a large screened in porch and overgrown backyard, neither of which had been touched sine the 1960’s. There were issues all over the place: the railing on the porch was not up to code, the screen was ripped and loose in various places, our two AC units were on the back of the house instead of the side, ivy and trash trees had overtaken the back yard, a primitive flagstone grill with embedded rebar was a relic beneath the ivy, numerous dips and air pockets throughout the yard, and an ill-planned driveway which featured an unused parking pad. I, like you, scoured this and various other sites for contractors that could handle primarily the landscaping job but also be able to provide construction for the screened in porch. The budget in my mind was anywhere between 20 and 40k so I was somewhat excited that I would be exposed to premier Atlanta landscape designers. The vetting process went like this: A few of the well-known firm visited me while others did not bother to return my calls. Some who did come seemed disinterested, which is sometimes the case for landscapers in the summers as they are pretty busy. In any event, Navid, the owner of Outdoor Makeover came out to see me on a Friday afternoon and we ended up talking about the project for over an hour. He was in no rush and was genuinely interested in hearing what we wanted to achieve. He then was able to take our wants and needs, combined them with his design skill and create a plan that we would have thought impossible with the existing landscape: It went something like this: Remove a portion of our unused driveway, remove all trash trees, ivy and old stones*, regrade the entire yard for ideal drainage and runoff, construct a large stone patio with fire pit for seating that doubles as a practical car pad and add irrigation. In addition, Navid had the resources to relocate the Air Conditioners to the side of the house and introduce his brother, Omid, to me who runs the construction unit of the company that could assist with the screened in porch. Leading up to the actual work being performed Navid and Omid (who I remind you are the owners) came by several times to discuss the design to ensure that we were getting what we wanted. One Saturday night Navid even availed himself at 9PM to come by and do a walkthrough! The screened in porch was first – and in only a few days new railing, a new screen and fresh paint/stain made the porch seem brand new. Once the construction started on the yard the lines of communication were continuously opened with numerous phone calls and texts throughout the process. As an element of the unknown is prevalent in all jobs, Navid made sure I was aware of any decisions that need to be made. The project was a head turner from start to finish with neighbors commenting throughout the process. Just the cleanout and grading with the bobcat made us see what Navid had seen from the beginning. The end product was far more than we ever could imagine and I am grateful to outdoor makeover for truly changing our home and landscape which will improve our quality of life. A few final thoughts: •Outdoor Makeover had approx 10-14 workers on site each day and they were extremely courteous and very skillful. •During the project I needed to move some furniture in my house and relocate some rugs. Outdoor Makeover provided two of their guys which turned a half-day ordeal for me into a worry free hour. •At the end of the job they leave your property spotless •I was sitting on my deck a few days after the project ended (on labor day no less) and who did I see walking down my driveway but Navid who came by to check on how his guys left the site. •As the owner, Navid is always visible and extremely accessible. It doesn’t hurt that he is a nice guy with a great disposition. For him it is all about the customer – I can attest to that. We recently bought a new home. The landscaping had not been cared for in years, so we knew that was going to be one of the first things we took care of. I contacted Navid at Outdoor Makeover because of all of the positive reviews on Angies' List. He and his company did not disappoint. The service started out with a very lengthy consultation. Our budget limited us to just focusing on the front yard at this time, but as part of the consultation Navid did spend a good deal of time in the back yard - just giving me some thoughts on what I could do there, in the meantime, to spruce it up on my own. After the consultation, which included a number of options in various price ranges, we settled on the following updates: clean-up of the existing landscaping; removing a very large cherry tree from the front yard (there were three there and they were beginning to block the view of the house); and planting a number of new shrubs, ground cover and trees. Navid was very patient as we dealt with the HoA - getting approval to remove the tree. We were forced to start well past the original intended start date b/c of the delay in getting the approval. Navid and his team were able to fit us in within about a week of getting notice of the approval. His team took two days to complete the job. They removed the tree the first day. The next day a very large crew came over to clean up the yard - removing a number of old trees and relocating some others - and to plant a number of new plants. Navid was not able to be there all day, but he assured me that I would be well taken care of. The crew did not disappoint. They did an outstanding job. He was able to check on the progress towards the end of the day and made a number of suggestions to improve upon what the crew had already done. He had the crew do a few things over to ensure it was just right, and he wouldn't let them leave until I was completely satisfied with the job. Overall, a great experience. They were flexible with my schedule, responsive throughout, very thorough and very friendly. I would recommend using Navid and his team to anyone. I will be calling them again when it's to tackle that back yard.

Our front yard was a disaster – Navid and his folks make it beautiful! Finished the job this week and have had many complements already. Re-did lawn area and added pinestraw garden areas w/perennials and shrubs. Navid listened to what I wanted (easy care, drought tolerant – we have no sprinkler system). Outdoor Makeover recently finished a front yard makeover at my home. The folks at Outdoor Makeover were fabulous to work with from start to finish. We have a 60 year old house on a pretty big lot that had old railroad tie terracing, tons of overgrown beds and a lot of weeds rather than actual grass. I called to get an estimate for overhauling our front, back and side yards at the end of February and they were quick to call back. Some landscape companies I called never even called me back and one even had the nerve to try and quote the work over the phone (yard unseen). Not Outdoor Makeover though! Navid came out on a Saturday and spent 3 hours with us walking through everything we wanted done and provided us a line itemed estimate that same visit. The crew started work on our yard mid-March and literally worked from dawn until past dusk every day they were here. The guys were all super nice, professional and the foreman, Joe, was completely on top of everything we needed done. They basically gutted our backyard then built new stone retaining walls to match the existing 60-year-old wall, laid slate, mulch, pine straw, and sod. Where ever possible the crew preserved existing trees and shrubs while pruning to perfection. I also have to mention that we had a family emergency in the middle of the project and had to leave town for nearly a week. Navid and Joe were great and did a walk through with me before we left town, sent pictures of the progress and kept everything running smoothly while we were gone. We’ve worked with numerous contractors over the last few years and Outdoor Makeover was the exception to the norm – they finished on schedule, stuck to their estimates and most importantly, care about their work and their customer’s satisfaction. Last year, Navid planted 12 foot Hemlock trees along with some other plantings. Throughout the year, his staff contacted me for follow-ups on how they were doing. As the year progressed, one tree became very thin and brown. Navid came back out and at no cost replaced that tree, as well as to give me a discounted price on additional plantings. This family business with Navid, his wife Natalie, along with his dad and brother were excellent to work with, very friendly and helpful, and extremely conscientious. I would highly recommend Outdoor Makeover.

I hired Outdoor Makeover back in November 2012 to "jazz up" my front yard. Although I didn't know what I wanted originally, Navid worked closely with me to come up with a vision for the project and delivered a beautiful finished project within budget and within 2 weeks! What's even more impressive is the follow up that I received. Navid called me a couple weeks ago (February 2013) to make sure that all of the plants had survived and that no "warranty work" was required. I was still very happy with everything, but Navid came by and decided that he wanted to add an additional feature to the rock wall they had built to make it look even better.
