Absolutely horrible, i hired Mr Jackson to install a new water irrigation pump and updrade the timer clock to wifi capable, he charged me $450 and did not complete the work, i had to keep texting him to find out the status and he had one excuse after another. Finally after a month he said he will drop off the items and return that friday to completion the installation. The day he was to drop off the items i waited for him, only to discover that he snuck the items on my porch and left without ringing my doorbell or texting me, and he never showed up to complete the job. I ended up having to hire someone else to install the pump and clock, and to my surprise and disbelief he dropped off the pool pump instead of an irrigation sprinkler system pump and the clock is a cheap clock like the one I already have and not wifi capable. I tried texting him to get the receipt to exchange and i can see he's reading my texts but refuses to respond. DO NOT hire Mr Jackson owner of Riverside Landscaping and grounds maintenance to do any job. He talk a hood game and seems sincere, but he's the prime example of a scammer. He would take your money and don't do the job. Would not comply to his work on job completion date, would not text, call or respond to messages once he's paid. If there were zero stars I would've given him two zeros

Horrible! We ended up suing him in small claims court and he filed for bankruptcy. Would never show up to work. We paid him almost $5,000 upfront, which was stupid on our part.

We hired Brian Jackson, River Side landscape and ground maintenance to install sod in the back yard, BIG MISTAKE. He does not hold to his agreements and you will end up paying him to do the work your self. See story below for details and learn from our mistake. He came out and measured the yard and talked to us as if he knew allot about how each type of grass grew and what types of things they required. He recommended ST. Augustine Grass due to our shady back yard and described what the process would be to install. The process described would be remove all existing weeds and grass, add top soil and grade out. Install sod and apply pest control and fertilizer. Normal process and professional sounding. Received his quote with him stating he would start it the next week and finish in 2 days. Price was good, but time to complete even better so we chose to use him. Now the reason NOT to USE him and his company. He requires the money up front, which he collected very next day. Red Flag #1- Next day lost check we paid with, causing us to have to cancel the check (with fee) and write new check. Red Flag #2- Did not start on the Monday he stated in agreement, then 2 days later rain stop him from starting and Promised to start Friday. Red Flag #3- Friday came and had to contact him to find out where he was, again he gave an excuse and promised to start following Monday. Red Flag #4 - Showed up late did 2 hours of work and only removed two swipes of old grass and called it a day. Red Flag #5- Next day Machine breaks and has to go to the shop, again only received that information after we contacted him. Red Flag #6 - After machine returns he completes 80% of grass removal and informs me that the Sod delivery is being pushed back to middle of week. Red Flag #7- Does not complete anymore prep work and informs us after we contacted him, that the sod would again be pushed to Friday. Red Flag #8- SOD delivers Friday without him being there and they put 7 pallets on my front yard that 2 days prior was aerated and seeded. Red Flag #9 - Finally starts back to work on Saturday, Had to confront him that he was trying to lay the sod without putting the top soil. He leaves comes back with very low grade topsoil that has grass and pine straw in it and proceeds to only sprinkle it around. (less than 1/4 in). Completes only 1/4 of yard with sod install. - After having to water grass on pallets over the weekend, I took a personal day from work to provide him a laborer to finish the Job. Told him to be there early and we will complete the job. The wife and I Started putting out the top soil and laying the sod at 8am, he doesn't show up till after

Exceptional service. They worked around my schedule & gave me several options within my budget. My lawn was gutted in several places due to a stuck vehicle & looked horrible. Communication was frequent & supplies ordered quickly. They even followed up weeks later to make sure I was satisfied with the project. Hands down they provide top services. Will call on again if needed
