“We used Hillside Design for a major project involving both the front and back landscaping of our home in the spring of 2016. Nick (owner) and his crew were very professional, pleasant, and easy to work with. Additionally we found Nick to be an honest man with integrity who takes pride in his work. Our project involved two paver patios, a small sitting wall, major plantings, installing an arbor, grill station, bubbler rock, and landscaping lighting. The quality of his team's work on our project was very good and we are happy with the final outcome of our project. Overall, Hillside's work on the front and rear landscaping have transformed our home and we love it. Finally, once your project is done, you still will hear from Nick. The following spring after our project Nick called to check in on how the project fared through the winter and came out to correct a couple of minor issues to our satisfaction. I would strongly recommend getting a bid from Nick if you are considering a landscape project; I think you'll find his bid competitive and you'll be sold on him.”

“Nathan and Josh helped us make the most creative and beautiful landscape using boulders to retain our hillside, trees, grasses and flowers. They were able to imagine and execute a difficult high retaining wall and steep steps. Their whole plan was never compromised because it was too much work or too difficult. Josh created a beautiful railing that just completes it all. Every day, all summer neighbors would stop and say that they loved it.”

“We hired Cori Johnson in the Spring of 2012 to completely redesign our backyard to address our drainage issue and our recently constructed garage. We are completely happy from beginning to end with her design and her crew. She listened to our goals (reusing reclaimed pavers and existing plants) yet she created space that we never envisioned. Also, we were very pleased with her cost for this large scale project. We would highly recommend hiring Cori for any landscape project for your home or business.”

“Stonepocket built an old English style stone wall on the front and side of our property, replacing a very steep hill and an older falling down limestone wall. They used all natural stone, with a number of different varieties mixed, and did an excellent job. The workers were very good craftsmen. We get compliments on the wall all the time. They did the work quickly and on budget. We are very pleased and would recommend Stonepocket and would use them again (in fact, we are planning on replacing an old fence and intend to use them for that project as well).”

“Signature Patio designed and built us a beautiful backyard patio. It fits our house perfectly. My wife and I couldn't be happier with it. Their design was incredible and their craftsmanship and attention to detail was outstanding. We received designs and bids from four landscape companies. Signature Patio, was by far the best. We loved Don Felix’s (owner) character as a person. His passion for his work was immediately evident. Don is very easy to talk to, extremely patient and genuinely listened to our questions and opinions. Don definitely has a God-given gift in landscape design. At our initial meeting, Don evaluated our backyard and wanted to hear how we envisioned using the space. Later he presented us with a creative design that he thought would best suit our needs. He flat out nailed the design! He generated a computer drawing of the patio and plant placement, which allowed us to visualize the design in relation to our house and deck. Don didn't try to nickel-dime the project, which was also a big selling point for us. The other companies priced us for every little feature. He quoted us a price that allowed us to make adjustments if needed. The final product is awesome, we definitely recommend Signature Patio.”

“Phillips Garden did a full backyard remodel in summer 2015 - turned our crappy amateur patio, hafl-century-old cement walkway, and weed-infested lump green space into a beautiful bluestone garden paradise. They were very patient with our changing desires & budget, and were extremely thorough and diligent getting the project done (early!). The designers came up with a wonderful creative "circle" design to leverage our topography, and the garden folks planted 600 (!) perennials in beautiful ways that enhanced our vision. Their build & maintenance staff are all pros - it was a wonderful project, and we still use them on an annual basis.”
