“Westcoast Hardscape did an amazing job on our backyard. They tore down our existing patio overhang and concrete, and built a large new pergola, and also poured new concrete. They installed artificial turf as well. Ground lighting in the turf, and recessed lighting in our pergola ceiling completed the project. They also brainstormed with us on a couple problem areas like poor drainage under a downspout, and moving a water faucet to a better location. I think the thing I appreciated about them the most was the communication from Michael. He let us know when the crew would be out and visited our yard frequently while the job was underway. His quote was accurate, and I was VERY happy not to get change ordered to death. And Cesar - his lead for this project - was BRILLIANT! He seemed to know everything and gave great advice and ideas. No shortcuts were taken, only high quality products were used, and I know it will last decades. Should we have another project, we will definitely use Westcoast Hardscape again.”

“We have worked with Joe twice. He and his crew totally redid our backyard a few years ago and we have been enjoying it since! They are craftsmen and hard workers. “We cannot say enough good things about Nato Vargas and his excellent team. They did extensive drainage work for us in 2014: lowering back garden soil level 4 inches, digging and installing several french drains and installing a sump pump. We've had no water accumulation during subsequent rainy seasons, protecting our foundation. Nato and crew also helped install our beautiful pergola. The back garden is now more than a garden, it's an outdoor living space for entertaining family and friends. In 2017 and 2020, Nato's crew repaired and stained our back garden fence, resurfaced the decomposed granite paths, installed a new mail box, replaced a garden gate and built a wood shelter for our recology bins. 2023 Nato and crew replaced our gas grill line with a fabulous flexible hose that should last forever. Most recently, 2025, Nato and crew replaced and stained most of our back garden fencing and replaced a wooden post providing structural support for our front porch roof. New photos of the back garden are attached to this review. It has been a pleasure working with Nato and his team for over 20 years!”
