The plans were drawn by Scarlett's team and they really listened to what types of plants we envisioned and what type of use we wanted from the entertaining area of our yard. The team worked very hard and finished a few days early! They were always professional and friendly and left the yard free from any construction debris. “I highly recommend Bonnie and Dan from Family Tree & Garden for your landscaping design and installation needs. We bought a house in Santa Barbara last year and did a complete remodel of our front and back yard. Our yard is approximately 1/4 acre in the Mesa so we had to be thoughtful with our design to maximize space. We worked with a landscape architect on overall plans but needed a general contractor to help us manage the installation. We found Family Tree & Garden through their great reviews on Yelp, and within a few hours of our initial contact, Bonnie stopped by to review our project needs and quickly got started. Bonnie has relationships with a skilled group of local craftspeople including masons who installed a beautiful rock wall, hardscape and a flagstone path, as well as plant and tree experts who installed our irrigation and plants. Bonnie is a certified arborist and her expertise with plants and trees helped us achieve our dream yard with lots of color and native plants. Dan is an expert with lighting and helped us design and install beautiful, well integrated lighting. Bonnie and Dan have a very collaborative approach and I always felt comfortable providing feedback and suggestions along the way. The project was completed quickly and on budget. We feel so lucky to have found Family Tree & Garden and cannot say enough great things about our experience working with them.”

“Ashley Farrell was chosen for our landscape project out of a group of five landscapers that we interviewed. She was the most engaged in our project and her pricing was the fairest out of all of them. Her experience was also a very high factor in our consideration of landscapers. We knew going into this major project that it would be a long term job. We had an acre that had to be made beautiful. First, we had to have everything torn out. Then the hard scape had to done, all new patios, new driveway, retaining walls, remodeled pool etc. Ashley worked as our co-ordinator on everything for us and kept us all sane. Ashley was also the only landscaper that we interviewed that was also hands on. She was there everyday and worked as much or more, with her fabulous crew. Phase two is probably going to start in late winter when she transforms our lower lot into a beautiful 20' X 20' fruit and vegetable garden. All in all we were and are very pleased with Ashley.”
