    “Southbay Design & Landscaping redid our backyard over 4 years ago, and have been maintaining it ever since. They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. I appreciate that they will plant new plants for us if we pick them up and have given advice on what kind of plants work around our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). We appreciate their professionalism and good work.”

    “I hired EV Landscaping in 2022 for several projects at my home in Atherton, CA.: - replaced existing grass with artificial lawn (~2,000 sf): 5" base rock, 1" sand, steel edging, gopher barrier, etc. - replaced 175 linear ft of redwood fencing; plus 14 ft metal framed sliding gate - landscape work including: lighting, irrigation system upgrades, flagstone repairs, large decorative boulders, etc. All work was completed as specified and to my satisfaction. Enrique Velazquez, the owner, was very professional; he and his crew were hard working and performed excellent work. His prices were competitive, fair and reasonable. I have since referred him to my sister (Menlo Park) where he completed a landscaping job. EV Landscaping is capable of handling jobs of any size. I highly recommend EV Landscaping.”

    “Contractors typically annoy me. They hardly ever arrive on time, clean up after their work or live up to their promises. R&R Backyard Remodeling is the exception having proved time and time again over the course of a long project that they do what they say they'll do and get it right on the first try. They have crews that specialize in each individual area (the deck itself, kitchen/barbecue area, fencing, stucco and paint) and each of them is led by a foreman with experience and patience. We are more than pleased with the end result - we are delighted. Visitors have been stunned at the beauty and quality of the final product. The most important endorsement I could offer is that given the opportunity to do it all over again I'd choose to work with them without hesitation. Ron and his team are honest, professional and prompt. It's hard to ask for anything more of a contractor. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.”
