South Canyon Construction Inc.

Called South Canyon and got Dennis with Dzak Construction. This should have been the first red flag. I do wonder if he inherited his crew since I doubt such a cavalier and entitled guy could do it himself. I'll keep it short and say this was one of the worst service experiences of my life. I wouldn't recommend Dennis to anyone. Most of his crew was great though, so if you could get whomever the real South Canyon is then you're probably ok.

My wife and I highly recommend South Canyon Construction Inc. Over 15 years ago, Victor and his crew designed and landscaped our courtyard as well as front and back yard. Whenever there has been a problem owing to wear and tear, Victor has immediately scheduled us no matter how busy his schedule is. We appreciate his attention to detail and his punctuality. Thank you, Victor.

UPDATE 1/6/25: Viktor and his crew finished our project two months ago now (see below). We had rain right before the last day of construction, which caused all four of the large ceiling fans in our newly built shade structure to suddenly fail. Viktor to his credit took it upon himself to troubleshoot while I was dealing with customer service at the fan manufacturer. He was able to isolate the cause of the fan failures quickly and efficiently and determined these were all due to the same manufacturing defect. Getting this resolved completely has required Viktor to return to our home several times, which he has done without complaint or charging me extra. You can trust Viktor to make sure everything is completely done before he considers his work finished! NOVEMBER 2024: We had extensively remodeled our previous home, so felt comfortable evaluating potential contractors. We wanted to completely renovate our property which would be the largest and most expensive project we have ever undertaken. Viktor, the owner, came on time to our first appointment, and I was pleased to know he is very experienced with large landscape remodeling projects like what we envisioned. I was impressed that he and his crew work only one job at a time, which in our experience is a characteristic of contractors who do the best work and have the happiest clients. Viktor’s bid was one of the lower ones we solicited, which was also a plus. We feel very fortunate to have selected South Canyon Construction for our project. Viktor and his crew arrived promptly at 0700 every weekday and never wasted any time getting things done. The workers are polite and respectful at all times and clean everything at the end of every day. Viktor kept me updated on the progress of all aspects of our project and answered all my questions promptly and straightforwardly. Viktor and his crew regularly went over and above what was specified in the plans. It is clear to me Viktor prioritizes the quality of his work over everything else and goes to great lengths to make sure all details are performed properly. I can confidently recommend South Canyon Construction to anyone who wants to have their project completed efficiently and with great care and skill.

I highly recommend South Canyon Construction Inc. They tore down and replaced the old brick facing on our home and replaced it with new brick. They were always on time and finished right on schedule. They made sure everything came out perfect and left the area always neat and clean everyday. Dennis provided excellent customer service and always kept in great communication with us. We love the new brick work, it came out perfect!

Viktor and his crew recently finished a two-month makeover/upgrade of our front and back yards, including installing a french drain around the perimeter of our house, adding a brick patio with lights and an outdoor fireplace, installing brick walkways throughout, uplighting our large trees, installing a fountain, hot tub, new lawn area, drainage, three vegetable boxes, planting hundreds of plants, and fabricating a lattice to grow hops on. We used Michael Glassman as our landscape architect (also great to work with!) and Viktor's company was one of the landscape contractors Michael recommended. Viktor only does one job at a time, they were here every day from dawn to dusk and they did beautiful work, were hard working, professional and friendly. Highly recommend.
