We had the pleasure of working with Sterling Landscape Company for our yard project. We were referred to Lavon Webb from Stack Rock Group in Boise. Lavon came out to meet us and discuss the project and continued our conversation throughout. We were always in the know about how the project was going. His team had to work around our pool that we were also putting in and they did a superb job. The project started in Mid October and finished in January and the cost was worth every penny. Sterling did a fantastic job on our backyard renovation! We couldn't be happier. They far exceeded our expectations in sevrvice. Jody was great to work with and the crew was meticulous.

After having several bids done for the job over the course of a couple years, Thad's bid was not only detailed but the best price overall. Very pleased. This is our second experience with redoing backyard landscape. We had such great success with Sterling Landscape Co. the first time that we hired them again to do both the design and landscape work. The scope of the job entailed extending the patio, adding pavers plus two seat walls. We also joined the patio at both ends with flagstone walkways and redesigned space for plantings, both trees and shrubs. I can't say enough for the crew that did the work. They were so attentive to the design, always checking with me when they had any questions plus so professional in their work. We love the results created by these craftsmen. Best of all we negotiated a reasonable price and the work was done in a timely manner. We give Sterling Landscape Co. our highest endorsement.

I am so pleased with the work that Jeff Gerhard from Sterling Landscape did for me in my yard that I just have to write and let people know. Last year I contacted him to help me design and install landscaping in my front yard. I thought that I would be lucky to get the job done by the end of summer. Mr. Gerhard came over and met with me within one week! I gave him a basic explanation of what I was thinking about doing. He gave me some additional ideas. Within a week he was back and while I was at work he started my project. He did the landscape design, installation, put in some irrigation & did some tree work. Following his suggestions, and the flower suggestions that he recommended, my yard was absolutely beautiful. I have had many people stop by and ask me who did my work. This year, I asked Mr. Gerhard to come back and trim my other trees. He layered a huge Scotch pine so that it looks absolutely perfect. The shaping will keep the tree from falling over in a wind storm. It is beautiful!!! He also finished trimming a Paper Birch that was so sick last year that I was afraid it was going to die and I would have to have it removed. By the end of summer last year, and having followed Mr. Gerhard’s direction, this tree is doing so much better and the way that he has trimmed it looks like a different tree. Let’s discuss customer service. Jeff Gerhard with Sterling Landscape and Tree Service is the most amazing person I have ever had do work for me. When he says he will be there, he is there. I told my husband that it was like having the yard fairy come while I was at work. Sterling Landscape is one of the most well-respected and well-qualified landscape contractors in the valley. From small residential projects to large custom homes and commercial installations Sterling Landscape has set the bar for knowledge, ability and professionalism since the early 1970's. I have known and worked with the good people at Sterling for most of my adult life and would recommend them to anyone. Landscape projects can be stressful but Sterling Landscape knows how to take care of their clients and is relentlessly devoted to customer service. Terrific company. Had problems with previous large company, poor service, didn't address problems in a timely way -- got to Sterling through the recommendation of someone who had been in the business for many years -- Kenny Strauss, showed up, quickly determined what was needed, and even though it was near the end of summer, quickly showed us what can be achieved with great service. All Sterling people are terrific and work well as a team. Appreciate that Kenny is an effective manager and is a trained horticulturalist -- GO STERLING.

Sterling Landscape Company helped us completely re-design and re-landscape the backyard of our home in Eagle, ID. Their work was professional, responsive to our desires and done with professional expertise. Our project included curved paver pathways, ground level and sunken patios, a running water feature and extensive re-plantings. We were extremely please with their work and have continued to use their services to maintain the property. Now, over a year later, the extensive plantings have had s survival rate of just shy of 100%. For anyone considering similar work, I would unequivocally recommend Sterling Landscape Company.

We enjoyed a top notch, first class experience when Sterling installed the landscape design for our new home in Eagle. A design that included curved paver walkways, accessible crushed granite pathways, water features, lawn, planting of shrubbery and perennial borders and trees and layout of irrigation systems. Each step of the way and for every single person at Sterling the experience was stellar. Excellence is modeled from the top by owner Lavon Webb and embraced by each member of the team. Every Sterling employee who worked on our project demonstrated pride in their work and a focus on quality control in outcome. The folks doing the work are well trained to do it and had the right equipment to get it done. The on site supervisors were delightful to work with. On time and on budget, Sterling's bill is one we were pleased to pay at job's end and where we feel we received more than our money's worth. Not to mention the guys who did the work were such nice men that we hated to see them go! Communication from Lavon and all others was excellent and when Lavon was needed by his team he was there in a 'flash'. Management at its' best. After having a poor experience with the general contractor who built our house, we wish Lavon could put Sterling's good management processes in a bottle and sell them to others! We are grateful the landscape architect we hired recommended Sterling on a short list of three to bid the work. The Sterling install outcome was so excellent that we hired them to do the ongoing maintenance with the same outstanding experience to date. Were we to do another home, Sterling would be our first and only choice to do the work. It does not get better than this!

Sterling Landscape did an excellent job of transforming our yard. They did the work agreed upon with attention to detail and in an extremely timely manner. This is the 2nd yard that Sterling has helped us with and we couldn't be happier. Their design ideas were very innovative. Every employee makes you feel as if you are their most important client. Sterling is the best but not necessarily the least expensive; however they'll get our business time and time again. Thanks Lavon and crew for a job well done!!!!

We hired Sterling to remodel our backyard and they delivered! Our project was fairly extensive and took almost 3 months to complete. During the entire length of the project, we had nothing but positive interactions with everyone involved. Lavon was great to work with and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had during the work and he ensured that everything was put in according to the landscape plan. The crew was prompt, courteous and professional and we were very impressed with the attention to detail and overall high quality of the work that they did. Even after our remodel was finished, we continue to receive outstanding service from Sterling. There have been a few minor warranty issues that came up and they have all been resolved very quickly. We’re so pleased with our beautiful new backyard and highly recommend Lavon and his team at Sterling!
