We hired Jake and Tailored Landscapes to do a significant amount of work on our property. We signed a contract and put down a deposit for the 1st phase of this project. Half of the work was performed in late fall. The workers damaged sprinklers and landscape lighting. I asked Jake about this and received no response. We expected the rest of the work to be completed the following spring, with more projects to follow. Spring came and we never heard from Jake. We phoned, emailed, and text Jake at least 10 times over many weeks. He NEVER responded. In fact we were not able to get in touch with Jake or anyone at Tailored Landscapes. No one answers the phone and Jake's voicemail is "full". We finally got in touch with someone at their retail store in Bennett who was apologetic and promised to get answers for us. NEVER heard from anyone. We were essentially ghosted by this company after fulfilling only half of our project. No explanation whatsoever. Jake seems like a talented designer, but he needs help operating his business. I would strongly recommend anyone considering hiring Tailored Landscapes to consider other companies. They are not what they seem.

Great landscaping company that managed to transform our yard from a mountain of stress every time it rained to a small piece of paradise in the middle of Lincoln, Nebraska. So thankful that we chose to go with Tailored Landscapes rather than another landscaping company in Lincoln that more than doubled their verbal quote for a design that wasn't half as functional and creative as the one imagined by Jake's company. We so appreciate the outcome, professionalism of his crew and the fact that they kept to the original estimate that was proposed. Most impressive (other than results) was the attention to detail that the various crews gave during all stages of this project. A big thanks to all who worked on this project.

We have worked with Jake and Kristi on multiple projects over the past five plus years. Even though our garden and yard are well established, they have had great ideas on where to add bushes and perennials, and this past summer, Kristi planted our pots. What a great selection of flowers she chose! This spring, they will be reworking two major areas of the yard and we are excited to see how it turns out. We highly recommend them for any and all landscape projects.

Tailored Landscapes just finished up a landscaping/lighting project at our house, and my wife and I are extremely pleased with the result. I didn't have a very clear vision of what we wanted done, we just knew that we needed our front yard updated. Jake is very patient and creative, he did a great job of listening to our style preferences and recommended a solution that was spot on. Tailored Landscapes did an amazing job on our new patio and fire pit area! Jake took the time to go over design ideas, color selections of products and the plants materials he planned to use with us. Their nursery had an excellent selection of plants and flowers for our new outdoor living area. Tailored Landscapes worked well within our budget and provided us with a creative and deliberate design that fits our lifestyle. We can’t wait to enjoy the fall weather with friends and family in our beautiful outdoor expansion!
