We hired Matt last year to do a large outdoor fireplace and stonework on our garage based on the work he did on our neighbor's fireplace. We hired Matt to do stonework on the outside of our home and a fireplace . From the first time we talked to him and until the time our project was finished he was very professional. Matt came in and designed and installed an outdoor fireplace for our family. He was wonderful to work with! He was very willing to do whatever we wanted but also offered us suggestions. He does very good work, he is extremely patient and detailed. Other contractors we had working with us even commented on the exceptional quality of the work. Our project included an outdoor fireplace, pizza oven, counter, wall, and floor. We were very pleased with the entire process and the thoroughness of Matt's quote, options he suggested, site plan, and construction. He was very open to our ideas and worked to get the layout, stone type, and color matching just the way we wanted. He was very thoughtful about minimizing damage to the yard and as a result we did not have to have any areas resodded or relandscaped. During most of the project he was able to meet his scheduled milestones but the weather was uncooperative during the last couple of weeks and caused some unexpected delays. We would certainly use him for future outdoor areas and would recommend him for others looking for an outdoor area.
