“We live in a very close and tight-knit neighborhood. Our neighbors across the street have a fantastic backyard with a great deck, some big trees, and lovely gardens. As a consequence of frequent invitations to their lovely space, we let our yard languish. When we finally decided to landscape, the "winning" company was met with an overgrown, uneven dog toilet that was in dire need of grading, re-sodding, edging, and artistic vision. We contacted three landscaping companies for quotations. Two of these companies came in with quotes around the $6500 mark, which our arborist neighbor assured us was reasonable. For seasoned DIYers, this seemed a little high. Green Valley Landscaping came in with a significantly less expensive quote for the same work. Being pretty frugal, we elected to use them against the advice of our arborist friend, who suggested that their quote was low enough to make their work suspect. Thankfully, he was wrong. GVL's work was done on time and on budget, with great attention to detail, and fantastic post-installation follow-up. When some of the sod they put down died within a couple of weeks, they quickly came out and replanted without questioning our watering schedule or creating any friction. They did a great job, stood behind their work, and made us very happy customers. We will definitely use Green Valley Landscaping again in the future.”
