Universal Aquatics

I hired Universal Aquatics to install a fish pond in my backyard. When John came out for the first time his vision was so good my husband and I could hardly wait for the work to begin. It surpassed all of our expectations. We truly spent most of the summer admiring John's work. We have 22 fish and even during the winter we have enjoyed going out and checking on them. The 4 waterfalls and lighting John installed along the stream to the deep end is fantastic. I am anxious for Spring to arrive so I can finish with the landscaping around the pond. The boulders and rocks John brought in just made the pond spectacular. I would definitely recommend Universal Aquatics and John for any water project. He is always a phone call away to answer any questions we have.

We had a Koi pond in our back year with a pump fountain. This was one we built and was our water feature in our back yard. We called Universal Aquatics as we wanted one more significant as we were always having trouble with our little pumps etc. They (john) came out and gave us a quote on redoing the pond we had and adding a sixteen foot water fall down our natural slope. It required stone work and taking out wooden bench/walk section across the back and redoing our entire pond. It was reasonable., It was fantastic. Everyone that comes to our house our back yard is a favorite. We have a gazebo that is pretty large with a fireplace beside the pond. Everyone say they feel like they are at a SPA. They maintain our pond for us monthly for a fee.

I purchased a forclosed house in December 2011 that had a Koi pond in the backyard. There were gold fish in the pond and water that was stagnant. In the Spring 2012 I contracted Universal Acquatics to build the pond up and make it functional. A new liner and power for a pump was placed at the pond. The waterfall & stream became functional and rocks were added to hide the liner and create a natural look. UV lights and timer were also added. Universal Acquatics performs maintenance to my pond every month. The algae is under control due to the use of the UV lighting and maintenance. I am very happy with the services provided by Universal Acquatics. All employees are very professional, courteous and punctual. I feel very safe and trust Universal Acquatics on my property.

Super nice guy. He is very knowledgeable of our pond and our fish. He services our pond regularly. He is very dependable and I never feel like he's trying to up the price and overly add anything. He knows his work! I'd recommend him over and over again.

John were fantastic to work with, he was helpfull in designing my koi pond and spend as much time to my satisfaction. John is very meticulous with his pond building. In my opinion he is a master pond builder. The finish product is absolutely beautiful. There is no doubt if I build another koi pond I would only use John.

We decided to change our current pond and waterfall into a pondless waterfall. We contacted John and he came out and provided not only a fair and detailed estimate but his overall vision of the new feature. He spent a good deal of time with us and explained the complete system on his visit. We decided to hire him and couldn't be more pleased with the work he did! Our water feature has an upper pond fed by a water fall at the filter with a stream about 30' long feeding into a lower pond with another water fall. We developed a leak learned that the installer was no longer in business. Universal Aquatics was recommended to us so we call John. John located the leak and we discussed options for the repair. Nancy & I chose the option of reline the stream and upper pond where the leak was. John moved into the work and within two day we had our upper pond and stream back. But it wasn't just back it was much improved. John's approach of using larger stones and boulders created a great new look, a spectacular look. In addition John installed very creative lighting in the stream and of both water falls. We could not be more pleased and recommend John and Universal Aquatics to anyone desiring a pond element in their yard. Nancy & Dennis Billew

I have had two ponds built by Universal Aquatics. Each pond has been built to enhance my natural surroundings at my home. I was given an estimate before the ponds were built and Universal Aquatics stayed within the budget and completed the construction prior to date given. I thought my first pond was beautiful but my second pond is beyond amazing. When I sit in my back yard at night to relax, the lights in the pond and the sound of the water is exactly what I wanted when I contracted with Universal Aquatics. I highly recommend Universal Aquatics if you want some place to sit and enjoy all the amenities that a pond can bring to your home or business.

Mr. John Magyar came to our house and spent quite a bit of time describing what he planed to do for us. He took his time to explain every detail of our project and then went outside to walk through and visualize what was going to happen. He also let us browse through his project book which gave us a better idea as to what we were going to do. Mr. Magyar gave a date and cost and everything was completed accordingly. We were so pleased with the outcome of our project. We have never met anyone who took the time to explain each step and offer recommendations with no, no pressure sells tactics and honest answers to our questions. During the construction, he was like an artist placing each stone himself making sure that it was in the right spot. The project was not complete until he was satisfied and that we were satisfied with the project. We highly recommend Mr. Magyar of Universal Aquatics.

For almost 3 years, I have been trusting John at Universal Aquatics for the maintenance & current redesign of my outdoor Koi pond. He listened to each of my thoughts and concerns about what I wanted to achieve with the design. Not only is he extremely knowledgable with regards to pond design and also proper care of the fish & plants, but also he exceeds every expectation in customer service! He returns calls promptly, is punctual to onsite meetings & stays on the quoted budget. I have and always will recommended John at Universal Aquatics to my friends that also enjoy outdoor ponds. If there was a 10 star rating I would have gladly given him & his company all ten!!

Great work by John. We needed an enhancement to our current water feature in the backyard - and the outcome was a creative solution at a price we were comfortable with. Creating a water feature is part science/engineering, and part art/creativity. Universal Aquatics provided both. John had the flexibility, professionalism, and friendliness that made the entire process a happy experience. We're continuing to enjoy the added feature - now into its 3rd month - and everything (pump, rocks, lights) is working perfectly.
