The team at Urban Ecology Studio is amazing! We did a full front yard and driveway remodel. The entire process from design to implementation was smooth and we are so happy with the final product. Even after the project was complete, they have checked in on our front yard every few weeks to ensure that the new plants are growing well.

Suzee helped us take advantage of the Turf Replacement Rebate Program offered by our water district. From initial interview to the completion of the project, Suzee listened to our ideas and concerns and guided us throughout with her expertise and patience. Her team is prompt and professional. We are very happy with our new pollinator garden, especially when we see monarch butterflies lingering on our milkweeds. Suzee and the team from Urban Ecology Studio did a fantastic job on our front yard conversion from grass to a California native plant space! They were professional and finished the job in a timely manner despite the frequent rains. They even helped us to get a rebate from the Water District because we removed our grass. Overall the project was a huge success and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to redo their yard! You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic team! From initial discussions and concepts to beautiful blueprints, the Urban Eco Team transformed our yard into a beautiful suburban oasis! They oversaw the work to completion and provided follow-up visits months after the yard transformation. The biggest goal was to use less water and incorporate drought tolerant plants.

We luckily found Urban Ecology through Nextdoor. We worked primarily with Farah and Suzee, although I can vouch that all three partners are knowledgeable, talented and a joy to work with. We had a very specific idea on how we wanted to terrace our slope (not something that designers like). They handled us with kid gloves! They were great listeners, took lots of notes and measurements, tested our rock solid soil, and in a short time, presented us with a full set of plans, plus a booklet with a mini plan, a list of all the plantings and a picture of each plant with its description and needs. Interestingly, almost all the plants were new to us, and so we were very excited to see what happens. We planted in October, when the heat subsided, not really knowing what we were going to end up with. Well, 6 months later, our slope is ablaze of color, our major request. Their price was reasonable, they responded to calls (emails) quickly, answered any questions we had. We were delighted!
